What is the swingweight of these irons?

I am thinking of adding 1 inch of shaft length over standard to a DG S-300 shaft that is in a Tourstage TS-202 irons. That is 38.75 inch shaft on a 5 iron. Short of installing a new shaft to spec is it acceptable to add a butt extension to bring it to the desired length?

My driver clubhead speed is in the 100 mph range +/- 2. My SKW shaft is stiff flex and it is untipped. Being that the SKW is a high kick shaft I would go with the 10.5* R510 TP.

I had a J340 that was said to be 10*. It had a stiff Fujikura SKW shaft installed. I could not get the ball to a high enough trajectory of suit my swing. I have a Taylor Made 300 tour 9.5* head with the same shaft that offers a perfect trajectory. That leads me to one of two conclusions. Either the head was not 10* as advertised(and there are no markings on the head that lists the loft) or it has a very high center of gravity. By the way it is not the most forgiving driver on the market however I would add that when you hit it dead nuts it goes forever with a ton of roll. In any case I have since sold it and went to the 9.5* R510 DF. And I made a more recent change to the TM R7 tour head in 9.5* with a M-4 accra shaft. A perfect head shaft combination.

For me I started with Joe about 3 years ago with a 45 minute telephone conversation. It was to figure out what shaft to put in my then favorite driver. Since that time my entire golf bag changed to an all "Joe Kwok" production. Dispite living on the opposite coast I would not think of letting any other club maker make changes to my clubs. Over the past 2 years I have found good success with my TM 300 tour with a SKW shaft. Good distance and forgiving. I hit the 300 tour as well as my R510TP and R510DF. I recently purchased a tour issue TM R7 and I must say after two rounds it beat out the 300 tour and both R510's.

I have seen many people ask what model of shaft to put into their tour issue TaylorMade Mid Rescue head. Joe installed a Fujikura 869 into both my 16* and 19* head. I have now played three rounds with this setup and the one work to describe the feel and result is WOW. Thanks Joe.

I had a Fujikura SKW stiff shaft in my J340 10* driver and could not get it above the tree line. It rolled forever but in the final analysis I was unable to make that head and shaft work for me. I ended up going back to my R510 DF.

I recently purchased this 16* head from Rick. Joe Kwok then installed a fujikura 869 tour spec shaft and the result is unbelievable. The club is both long and more importantly forgiving. You can purchase this head with confidence.
