Out of curiosity have you checked the slope frequency? It would be a major bonus if these come near "blueprinted" specs. Chris can you PM me the cost? 4-6 MP27,7-PW MP32, 52/57/62 wedges in black finish with only an M stamp in Black finish.

Yup. Republic of the Philippines! These things have been moving like hotcakes at the new price. Jick/Jovi (also a member) got us added discounts. Now down to $260 with the fact that it is off a TMAG store directly....If any problems they don't have an excuse unlike my back up R300Tour bought in Singapore but had problems with warrantying with TMAG Philippines. The problem is they seemed to have misplaced my 9.5 loft with 661 X flex  The only ones they have with X shafts are 8.5 loft. I hit my R510TP/Six 10.5 quite well so if they don't find the 9.5/661X I'll probably buy a head off the bst again.

Before you two decide what things I'll be getting can I at least give some input? That's how big of a Ho you guys are. You need to Ho for someone else. Your own minds cannot handle your own cravings.

Yah it looks a lot like a baby ben on slim fast. I have yet to see a high MOI putter that looks good. The Voodoo Daddy square model would've been nice to have in retail.
  5. On putters with plumber's neck hosels I prefer a sight line. Blades or 1/4 shaft offset or less I prefer a sight dot. Mallets I prefer 3 sight lines.

Get ready for the TM price reduction on the 510 TPs. In my country as of this week out of the TM store they are down to <$300 new and that is with 569/661/757 shaft options. Picking up a 661 in X just for the hell of it.

Chirs can you post pic of the different "S" Miz models so we can see. The Miz Japan site doesn't seem to have them anymore. I might be getting a set and I can't decide which model plus I have to reserve the model I want before the Golf Expo we are having in 2 weeks.
  8. Johnny if like them the TP CBs might be worth a look then. Chris, I know you can get any Miz blank. The Miz rep let me know the other day that the 2002/2003 Miz Japan Models are going to be on major closeout starting Oct 15 over here. I'm letting that day arrive so I can decide whether new S10, S30, SV30, or even E10 then I'll work on the blank and black Miz. I might be able to get you sets. The intial computations are they will be going for around $420-480 new.
  9. you Sir need the RAC proto's....too bad the price tag is worse then the Hiros' :money: I seriously hope you are kidding Johnny. My dream set is somehow to make blank MBs (Maybe MP37s because you have the only blank TNs I know of) play like forged player's CBs. The MR23 US Spec/RAC CBs play too much like blades. I find the XBlades to be just as forgiving. I want TM300 forgivess but in MB form and almost totally blank in gunmetal like the TA1s As for the RAC protos.....I prefer retail JAPAN RETAIL. US Tour equipment is a crap shoot. You never know how bad or how good your going to get until you spend the $$$$.
  10. Switch the locations of the "made in Japan" and the "hiro matsumoto" engravings. Sorry but these don't do it for me. I prefer "plain backs". The RAC CB mill marks are the most I can go. The new TM TP CBs don't do it for me as well.
  11. Would you sell head only? Also how closed is it?
  12. Zool, Try your Titleist rep in Malaysia. I asked the stores here they said they didn't sell by piece. I called the Titleist National Distibutor directly. They said 3 weeks but doable.
  13. Which tour platform is in it? Is that $200 shipped to ConUs?

I couldn't agree more. I play Japanese balls. I find them overpriced but I don't get them out of the box. The only thing I like about Japanese Ball manufacturers is that they are not scared to try something new in the market. The Kasco Silicones, the odd number dimples on the Srixons, the TS X01 and X01s, the all offer a "totally new flavor". The low compression craze which hit the US around 4 years ago was all the rage in Japan 8years ago with the Newing and the Tourstage AMZs. I was a ball ho almost as much as Jovi but have decided to stick to TS balls <UX>, <UXs>, X01, and X01s because ever since I limited myself to these balls my game has improved by 2 index points. I have tons of japanese balls to review but it is local tournament season here until mid March and I don't want to mess up my game. But so far I like the TRX as well. I plays very similar to the <UX> but with higher carry (bigger dimples). I hated the Nike Air Bidan.

rbue, I'll do a review on all those balls in the next few weeks. I get mine practically free. Around 50c per bell in Grade AAA. I have maybe 9 doz assorted Japan only balls in my basement. I plan to try each ball exclusively for 4 rounds each then do a comparo when I get used to the new irons. But like everyone says no ball is worth $50+ a dozen.

I've been looking for this baby for a year now. I love the TM300 forged S wedge. I feel like I'm missing something if I don't get the A wedge. Head only is ok and actually preferred.
  17. Decided to go with something else instead. I was having a hard time finding something to match up with the Ms in the long irons. thank you.
  18. xxio replied to matt411's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
How long did they take? Also is the black finish similar to the black ox wedges or something more durable like the GD Teflon finish?
  19. Would you be willing just the Ms?

I play the X Blades. Maybe have 6 rounds on them I'm a 7-9 handicap. I had the first 2 rounds with the stock NS Pros. The last 4 with the TX Tours on them. I am sorry to say I have yet to break 80 with them with either shafts.....The other way!!! My worst rounds have been 2 78s my best a -1 (71)in a tournament to boot....I find them just as forgiving as my TM 300s or maybe just a tad less. People say they dig a little but I guess that fits my swing since the version of TM300s (original, not NS version) that i had was also suppose to dig. Of course my round this Thursday will probably be a 90 since I have now jinxed them by saying how good they are.
  21. Joe, Noone can touch WBC in the Philippines. The really strange thing about is that the guy has tons of clubs/sets (My last count for iron sets was around 8 or 9 and that was after unloading 3 or 4 in 2 weeks) his current fixation are his Wishon Combos and his Wishon Driver. I think the Wishon Irons are currently going through their 4th reshaft and the Driver which has been in town for I think 2 months has gone through 2. I have played the Wishons (his first set, he has 2 God knows maybe even 3). I liked them. The forging felt like "form forged" or even like the Titleist 762s with the mylar cavity. The sole grinds are very versatile which is excellent for our wildly varying turf conditions here in the Philippines. but I just can't get over the fact that thats what Willy plays. TN 87s, MR23s, Katanas, Honma, X Blade CBs, Nike Blades in the garage...and he plays the Wishon 5 rounds out of 10? I think you need to hook him up with something really, really really exotic.
  22. We need people (other than Chris) who get to try all the rare Japanese equipment like TaipanLi, Zool, Willy (This guy plays a lot of stuff US/ Japan/Component/OEM), and maybe even me to post and do reviews and comparisons. Comparing my Japanese Bettinardi alone against my US retail should be good enough. But unfortunately I'm on the lazy side. As my contribution to this site for providing me with good deals. I promise I will do 1 review every 3 weeks of a piece of equipment that I feel isn't readily accesible to the US Market if I can ask my Asian Ho brothers to do the same.
  23. Can we all make a deal that noone tries to PM Chris about that JAT.....That'll give all of us enough time to round up the $$$$ plus I want to see how deep some of the pockets here go.....I'm moving a lot of my stuff as we speak.

Just wondering if I'm overlooking something while reading the post....What irons are these? I can't tell from the pics.
