TM R5 Dual Info
They should've put the weights towards the heel and toe more it would've made it more "believable".

Tourstage pull out lengths?
Joe, I was going to to do it that way but unfortunately there are only two good clubbuilders in Cebu and I'm not realy confident in either one of them right now. I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks to when I get to Manila to get it done that way. These used to be Willy's. Been in my basement for 6weeks waiting for the TX Tours to arrive. I noticed Willy always has a "sale" around July every year together with the claim that he is getting rid of everything and trying to improve. He gets down to around 5-6 sets by November then balloons back up to 10-11sets around February.

Tourstage pull out lengths?
I'm having someone change the shafts out of my XBlades. I want to pre cut the new shafts before installing. What raw length should I cut the shafts to to get a 38" 5 iron? Thanks.

need a 52* wedge
I would say it would depend on what you would be using it most for. If mostly for approach (full) shots and chip and runs (like me), I liked my brief experience with a Zodia because the 52 played like a weak pw in design. If it would be mostly for pitches around the green and a little bunker play the Vokey 200s and the RACs in whatever finish are good. Or you can have Ari/Scratch build one to your needs.

Honma Drivers-About Star Ratings?
There are couple in So Cal that do. Also TourSpecGolfer can hook you up with one of the best Honma connections ever. (Thank you for that hook up Chris, but we couldn't find it with the shafts I wanted).I'm sure he will be helpful in choosing. If the person buying is a 18 to 25 handicap I would go with the cheaper shaft unless he is Asian because the extra stars will mean extra favors in return :smile1:

Help with a Three Wood!
2 DOT are 12*/13* loft, 1 Dot is 15*/16*.It was famous when Fred Couples on the top of the world. :smile1: Thanks. I will start my 1 dot 5 wood search today. Decided to stick a T speeder in the BJ first. It was the only decent pull out I had handy.

Help with a Three Wood!
Joe, What are the playing differences between the 1 dot and 2 dot "BJ"?

Help with a Three Wood!
I got one, 2 dot w/ RCH36 Firm shaft in a very very good condition for sale if you are _________. :surprize:  Joe Joe, I see you are feeding others addctcion as usual. I put the "BJ" 3 wood in play the other day and hit it far, straight and actually with a little bit of air under it. Would you have a Callaway/Bobby Jones 5 wood? Also which Fuji (I'm a Fuji snob) performs most like a EI 70 Tour S. The EI70 in the 3 looks so old it might snap any moment. I have seen the smoothie you built for Willy. He bought that knowing I would buy it off him if he couldn't hit it. Now he doesn't want to let go....email him tell him the head is defective (it'll only work if you sleep apnea) and sell him a sonartec. TM is slowly creeping like a cancer into his bag (TM 300s last time we played).

Help with a Three Wood!
Laugh at this one. Just for the hell of it I put an old Cally "Bobby Jones" 3 wood I hadn't played in 4 years in the bag because of the deep/square face. Just 1 round on it so far but it might knock the 300 tour out real soon. Looking for a Fuji to put in it.

Honma Drivers-About Star Ratings?
Just to add to Willy "World's Biggest ClubHo"s post. The stars were used to rate the Titanium-Carbon shafts but now since the new Honma shafts are Doric-Titanium they are now more a rating as to the level of the clubmaker that built them. I liked the old Titanium Carbon shafts better. I have hit the 420RF (with the golden scoring lines) it is very long and very light. Just to give you an idea how much of a good driver it is. The Honma Pros on the APGA & JPGA use the RF despite Honma having other "Players" drivers. As to worth it getting the "higher" star You or your friend would have to demo as to which shaft characteristics will fit you. They are different. Otherwise it is like paying for a Fuji vs Aldila NV. I prefer the Fuji Six because it works for me so I have to pay the extra $$$. I have friends who play the NV better so they don't have to pay as much $$$.

Nippon Shafts
TX Tours are stepped. Rifles have their steps inside going lengthwise. Really :-D :surprize: I was told that they were like rifle shafts . I would have to take a guess and say that was bad info :-) Don't know what to try now , will have to call Joe and get his take on this . I could be wrong. My TX Tours are still 3 days away. I was presuming they will be similar to TX 90s with a different step pattern to lower trajectory. TX 90s have very few and very light steps. Regarding Nippons. I would say if you like Rifles you will like Nippons. If you prefer DGs (like me) you won't like Nippons. Well then since i don't like the DG's maybe the Nippons will be okay . But before I go any further and talking to Joe as I said in my last post . Am using Project X 6.0 now and I just find the overall weight and the SW are just too heavy. Don't know if it is just me or the clubs :-D IMHO I find the PXs to play more like smoother and lighter DGs than Regular Rifles. NS Pro 950GHs will be closer to regular Rifles. The PXs are the only rifles I hav come close to liking......Swap.... I have two sets of NS Pros (GH and WF) plus a few FW wood NS Pro 95s.

full tour issue r7 drivers with tour only shafts!
Notice the "Forged" Vokey in your sig. Can you post pics? I have never seen a forged Vokey US or Japan.
-
Can this be fixed??????????????
Ouch. I hope the wrists feel better.

Enter ZOMO!
I will reserve comment until I actually hit one or see one up close. That could be nice 3X black finish upon closer inspection. The X (heel shafted mallet) could be good for me.

My Custom Mizunos
Black finish: Is it an additional finish-meaning is it on top of chrome? What about bending will it crack the finish like Cleveland TA5s gunmetal?

USGA Non-confroming Driver recommendation
Oh yeah I forgot about the XR03. That is on major clear out. Something like $155 new. And it's not that game improvement. The 8.5 X flex I had was a very good "players" club. Square face played like a YS 6 X shaft.

anyone tried the nike one black yet? opinions?
OT. I have a sleeve of Nike Air Bidan balls I will be trying out today if it doesn't rain like the past 5 days

GRIPS
GP Victory Cords. They are just so damn hard to find.

USGA Non-confroming Driver recommendation
R300 Tour are on closeout in SE Asia. NEW around $210 for the YS6/Mitsu shafts and $240 for the ones with the 757. Doesn't feel tinny as most non conforming drivers.

Talk about a club ho
JLo's ex (P Diddy) had the bling bling around the neck. Marc Antony has it in his golf bag. That's an average of more than $1.5k per club in the bag!!!!

Katana Drivers (Sword)
Its in the "list" at the top.

Katana Drivers (Sword)
They make really good performing products. They are really really long. I would have to say after hitting and not even looking at the USGA list that they would be non conforming in the US. The TM303 irons I had played 3 rounds with around 2years ago. I still wish I never had to give up those irons to a Japanese client. The Drivers would be typical Japanese high end drivers with light shafts and closed faces. The do have a "pro series" type driver which I have never even seen in person much less hit.
