diamana thump ???
I had Thump before, a great shaft but I switched to Matrix HM2. Both play quite similar in my opinion, but just feel that HM2 gives me a bit better control and tigher dispersion (probably due to weight and flex. S for thump and x for hm2). At the end I enjoyed hm2 a bit better :)

Matrix TPHD vs Crazy Nero
Sounds like Crazy is what you'll suggest :) and even better than Bangvoo? Can you discribe Bangvoo a bit for me? In terms of how it play against 50 or 80. Is the dispersion between 50 and 80 noticeable? I think you've bought me into consider 50 Nero now... lol... I guess now it's left with 2 candidates... 1) 50 Nero 2) 80 Nero or probably Bangvoo if it's better :) Sounds like TPHD is out :)

Matrix TPHD vs Crazy Nero
Thanks a lot for the replies :) Really appreciated. I guess if I want to go for the Matrix or Crazy, I'll have to change the 9 degree head o 10 degree to give me a bit higher launch. Supo67, what's your view on TPHD vs Crazy? If given same flex, spec and weight, which one has tighter dispersion and longer carry?

Matrix TPHD vs Crazy Nero
Hi folks, I'm in the process of deciding which shaft to go into my new driver head. I bought a 2011 Yamaha 9 degree Tour Model with ahina 60x, however it's too low of a launch for me. I'm currently playing Fubuki Alpha 60x with 2010 Yamaha Tour Model 10 degree head. I really like this setup and enjoyed the ball flight (medium launch) and seems to give me a really nice carry and run. However I'm just looking to try something new which will give me similar trajectory while adding a bit of weight (70g) with less dispersion. I play Matrix F7M2-x on 3 Wood and HM2-x on my hybrid. So I actually enjoy a bit heavier shaft to slow down my tempo. Has anyone tried both shaft? Any input will be greatly appreciated. What's the pro and cons and feedback of each? Playing characteristics etc. I know both are excellent shafts with similar price tags. But would love to hear some inputs on how one may be a better shaft than the other. Also previously saw a crazy shaft broken into pieces due to its high glass content, does this happen often? My swing is quite smooth at around 115mph (however will go up as I'm on a weight training program looking to gain both carry and flexibility). Would like to swing as freely as I can without worrying about the left side. As for TPHD, I guess I'm looking for TP6HD (x-stiff) which is 70g shaft, and as Crazy probably something like CB-80II Nero (x-stiff, 8.2) at similar weight. Or is TP7HD will be a better fit? Selecting TP6HD so it's slightly lighter than my 3 wood (F7M2 is at 80g uncut). Thank you very much in advance :) Kev

2011 Yamaha Driver
Wow nice~~~ Shrinking sizes... 430 to 425 for the tour model, and to 440 and 445 for the rest... nice~~~~ I can't wait for the tour model to come out... Caddy ruined my current driver's crown... and it's all looking ugly w/ marks... :( Please do post pictures when you have them :) What's Dual Fric Off Sole? Similar to RC's design?

2011 Yamaha Driver
Do we have picture on these yet? Apparently a friend told me that he tested the 2011 Yamaha Driver (Tour Model), shafted with Diamana Ahina 60g s-flex According to him, the tour model will be limited and look quite similar to the 2010 version.

WORKS Ground Driver
I second that~~~ I'm playing 15 degree fairway... and am definitely interested in either the 13 or the 11... Because if 17, we could just go for the egg spoon or what we have on hand... But 11 or 13 is definitely interesting since not many fairway offers this kind of loft.

Driver Advice
Vineman, Thank you for the reply. I guess I will give it a try on the new Taylormade drivers... probably the superdeep if they become available in my area. Thanks for the reference... but bogeydog's driver spec doesn't really fit me :( Else it'd be a great buy... sad enough... I guess I'll start by testing out some taylormade drivers... and if not... I'll probably have to bet on the Kamui... Have you hit the epon driver before? What's the feeling in comparison with your Kamui?

Driver Advice
Hi guys, I'm looking for a new driver. I'm currently playing 2008 Burner TP with Kai'li shaft. I really like the feeling, however I want to get something that's more mid launch with low spin... and more penetrating... I tried both Epon 151 and 102... I really like the shape of the 102 of its deeper face and pear shape...however the feeling at impact is something not of my taste... The ball flight is excellent but the feeling at impact is a bit harder when compared to 08 burner tp... The burner TP has this very soft feeling that felt like ball sinking into the face and bounce off... and in comparison Epon does not provide that same feeling... Any advice? Will Kamui be something that I'm looking for? It's hard to find a Kamui driver around... Thanks a lot in advance~~ KC

Wedge Help
Hi all... I'm looking to buy a new wedge set but have no luck in finding the right spec. I want to buy a combo of 54/60 with low bounce on the 60 and mid bounce on 54. I'm currently using vokey SM 60/4... Is there any brand that offers this kind of bounce at 60? Seems to me most J brands offer 52/58 combo with medium to high bounce... Thanks in advance for the replies. ...

14 degree hybrid
Hi all~~~ I wonder if there's any brand that has 14 degree hybrid? Or is there any JDM manufacturer such as Epon that can custom make a 14 degree hybrid head for me? Please let me know. Thank you very much in advance for your responses

JDM Fairway Wood Recommendation
Yeah b/c I'm not so familiar with these brands/clubs... so just want to hear opinions on them :) I really like the look for honma 9 series... but am not sure if that's something for me... never seen all these clubs in person, and the only way to find out is through asking people... The only reason asking for egg is b/c it's new from prgr~~ just out of curiousity :)

JDM Fairway Wood Recommendation
Wow... thanks for all the input... I think I have narrowed it down to 2 clubs... TM V-Steel Epon AF-201 Love their looks :) Do you know if I can find any review on them? Also, what about Honma 812 or 913 FW? and the PRGR EGG? Are they any good? Been hearing about them quite a bit lately. Thanks again :) KC

JDM Fairway Wood Recommendation
Hi gocchin, Thanks for the fast reply :) I'm currently using an old Callaway ERC (bought back in 2001) and it has a fairly small head. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has fairly high face height. I'm looking for something w/ mid-low face height. Yup, I've been browsing this website for FW for a while, and there are just way too many selection to choose from... lol... I just wish there is 1 FW that outstands all others to make my life easier... haha KC

JDM Fairway Wood Recommendation
Hi all, This is my first time posting. I'm thinking about getting a new JDM FW to replace my 5yr old FW. Do you have any recommendation? I'm not so familiar with JDM brands but have been hearing only good things about them. Looking for workability and not really game improvement clubs. Anything good from 2008? :) Any suggestion would be great :) Thank you all in advance... KC
