  1. Did you ever sell these? Are they the prototype v.2? Thanks Jim
  2. Was looking for some members who have played the Nippon Super Peening Blue Series shafts. Love the quality of the Nippon shafts, much better than DG, imho, but ther ball flight tends to be a little high. Have read about these Super Peening Blue Shafts and it appears that they exhibit the characteristics of the Dynamic Gold's -- lower ball flight, but now you get the benefit of a higher quality Nippon Steel with much better feel than a True Temper, again, only mho, not to be taken as law. Anyone have any opinions and could shed some actual usage info on these? Thanks.
  3. Would he ship one to Waltham, MASS -- 02454 -- Do you have his number?
  4. greetings all Got a set of miura blades with tour concept shafts in them. My son has been caught swiping my 8 iron and hitting it quite accurately. I am shocked at this because I always thought that a 'blade' was a club that typically required a higher swing speed. He has great mechanics and strikes the ball well. He is presently using an R7 TP head with true temper gs75 shaft --which is a great shaft, btw!! At the risk of losing my blades forever to him...I was wondering what other TSG-ers play in their blades for shafts? Have heard great things about the kb tour shafts, I personally love my ns-pro 850's in miura cb 202's but what about the sweet, slower swinger? Is it possible to hit a blade with a lighter weight shaft on a consistent basis? I keep waiting for him to miss hit it, or knock it off center, figuring the tour concepts are too heavy, but he is either a magician or an even better ball striker than I imagined. No distance lost with the heavier shaft and accuracy is much better. The question is ..Is their an even better shaft combo out there to go with the baby blades for the slower, sweeter swinger -- sounds like the perfect club for austin powers ! Let me know your experiences....Thanks....
  5. Hi TSG, Nice to chat with you. I did win this one and the other EMB with the Graphite Design SL5 shaft. I don't know what it is about this club but I just can't seem to make it work for me, maybe its the head, or just the shaft, but this is the third club/shaft I've tried. I do hit a lot of draws, some might be considered 'snaps' --too quick. I cannot get the distance out of this club like everyone else seems to be able to do. I play a TP Burner 10.5 with a Matrix XCon 5 shaft and it's longer and straighter than any of the three EMB's I have. I picked up an old Technity ZR 10.5 with some sort of high end Fujikura Rombax 5W06 in Regular flex which seems stiffer than the stock shaft for the EMB--which I cut down to 44.5 inches and its still too 'whippy' for me. The ZR I hit a little longer than my TP Burner but not as accurate, although I think that I could work with it. What I think would be best for me is the AF 101, ( or maybe the new Tourstagej Black 445, just need to find the right shaft. I sent Gocchin a bunch of info I got from my launch monitor session in the Avix Fitting Section, hopefully I can narrow it down. Kinda wish I didn' spend the $ 1500 on the 2 EMB's but I guess it's a learning process--just nowhere to try this stuff around here. I think I should have gone with an AF 101 and the Tourstage instead of the 2 EMB's --plus it's a tough head to get used to looking at and listening to, which I could do if I could get different more positive results. I picked up a set of AF 701 irons, love the feel, but again too many draws. went with the Nippon NS Pro 850 in Regular flex when I should have gotten the stiff, having a guy change them to the stiff. I think they will be great. Longer than my Wishon 560's and hopefully as accurate. Got a set of their KGX Wedges--love them--very accurate for me. That is why with the great results and great feel of the irons and wedges, I was totally NOT prepared for the results that I got from the EMB. Soryy to have rambled, but wanted you to know about it, am a good customer and hope you could shed some insight and advice for me. (^_^) Thanks Jim
  6. I don't think it is 46 more like 45. It is at my office, I can check it out over the weekend and let you know. Email me direct if you want at [email protected]
  7. Epon EMB -the Monster Beetle. It is long and forgiving but takes getting used to. Just not for me. Bought it from TSG a few weeks ago, hit a few times on range and I'm sticking with my old ZR 460. Paid over $ 700--Would be over $ 900 if bought new with the upgraded Roddio shaft. Great opportunity if you are an Epon Guy. Will setttle for $ 695.--firm. Email to [email protected]
  8. Looking for an Epon AF 101 Driver 10.5 degree head or finished driver. Shaft should be something for a swing speed +/- 100 stiff regular flex. Will consider Graphie Design stock shaft, Mach line Proto, Avix, Roddio would prefer it to be 44.5 inches in length but not a requirement. Like it to be in the 55-65 gram weight range. Thanks
  9. Looking for TSG-ers who have had some experience with either of these drivers. Looking for max distance and min dispersion -- aren't we all? 100 mph swing oriented aging veteran looking to give it one last run... Thanks
  10. Looking for an AF 101 Driver with a 10.5 degree loft and a regular flex shaft for mod-slow swing speeds, +/- 98 mph. Trade bait: (one only) Bettinarid BB 11 Putter Bettinardi Emminence Putter email: [email protected]
