thank your for your opinions and offers, guys. Unfortunately I´m really not the hard swinger that could comfortably handle X shafts. I will have to go with something stiff. I would have taken the Roddios right as they are if it wasn´t for the $1300 price tag, even the 10% off will still not make it affordable at the moment. I was hoping to get some opinions on similar feeling shafts, or maybe get a used set at a good price. Too bad RIduffer has the SX ones, I really wouldn´t buy them without hitting them first and see if I can handle them. Maybe I should make a trip to the UK, right? ;)

I did hit the S flex, X would be too much for me. Which ones do you have? They were OnOff, for sure. Just realized that they maybe renamed some stuff for the European market. "Black" is supposed to be their players line, Type-S woods and the forged irons and "Red" are the more forgiving clubs. So the irons I hit were the OnOff forged, did hit the 2012 and 2013, the Pentacross was actually installed in a 2012 6-iron. Thank you, I saw that set as well. They are very nice, but I need 3-PW irons and no soft stepping. If I´m going to spend that big coin, I would need something that really fits me.

Hey guys, Yesterday I´ve been to a golf fair in Germany. So among all these "big brands" there was a small tent in the very last corner. OnOff... so that was where I definitely had to go, screw all the Nike, Callaway, TaylorMade, whatevers. First of all thank you to Krafft Angerer from OnOff Europe, it was a pleasure to meet you. For sure one of the best guys I met in the golf industry so far. So we were talking JDM, how OnOff tries to get into the European market and all that stuff. They really have some beautiful clubs, but all you guys already know. Was hitting some balls with the black irons, really really good, can´t complain about anything. In comparison to my AF-302´s they are pretty much the same size and might feel a tad softer. Overall an iron I would put into play without hesitation. So then he talks about their Roddio shafts and how much knowledge went into their construction. He told me to hit and graphite shaft in the black irons. "Mate, I´m not a grandpa yet, even if I sometimes feel like it" were my thoughts. Yeah, why not... just hit some balls and tell him you are a real man who plays steel shafts. ;) Ok, so off to the hitting bay... weight and balance feels great, definitely not your standard 50g graphite noodle. So, first ball... BOOOOM... second ball ... CRACK ... and this went on and on. Never git an irons shaft that had such an amazing feeling at impact. Really can´t describe it, but most of you might already have hit an high end graphite shaft in irons, so you know what I´m talking about. I went to OnOff for 2 or 3 more times that day to hit some shots with the iron again and this outstanding feeling just wouldn´t go away. DAMN! I never thought there was something better feeling out there than my 302´s with Modus 3. OnOff really has me with this combo. Oh well, I talked all the drive home to my friend about that iron and the Roddios, thinking of it all night long. Why do golf clubs do this to you?! When I got home, I immediately turned on the Laptop to look for some prices for Roddio Pentacross shafts only. Really would like to keep my 302´s, but who knows. So, where to find better equipment then on TSG? So yeah, they have ´em... $999 ... BOOM ... same feeling while hitting the shafts, just the other way round. ;) Oh, not to mention 1000 bucks only gets you 5-PW, I need 3-PW so thats another 300.... you are killing me. :D Sorry for the long talk before my real question, just had to share my experience with other JDM gear fanatics. Is there anything out there, that will come close in feel to these shaft? Maybe the Steelfibers? Anything a little more affordable? Krafft told me a 3-PW set of OnOff blacks will be around 2000 Euros, so that it what you would expect from JDM gear, I´m fine with that. But my head still went "CRACK, BOOM, POW" and I really can´t remember if that included the Roddios, or if it was for steel shafts only and the Roddios will be a big upcharge. I´ll try to find out, though. Oh, forgot to say, OnOff had some quite unique looking bags, you won´t find anything similar over here. I´m getting one 100%. I can´t wait for Skycaddie to release the Skypro. The software they provide seems so awesome for training purposes. These gadgets will help a lot of people work on their swings... me included. :)

You better paid more attention to geography in school. ;) Belgium is not in the UK, so Colsaerts is out... and maybe you take this guy into consideration who sits on #1 in the OWGR. Justin Rose isn´t that bad either. Garrigus?! Not afraid, Gmac or Harrington will take care of him.
