Easy one Im sure ? Looking to replace a set of shafts in my ping zing 2 irons, they are just a set I saw and had to buy just to try them after all these years, Im sure Im not the only one who has bought a set just for old times sake? I got fitted for a set of , well it doesnt matter what it was, ( it wasnt my 502's I may add) and TT Gold XP R200 gave the best figures for the not to be mentioned irons ! Im happy to re shaft the pings in the same as they do give good figures just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of something alternative ? Im not looking to bust the bank but would like to give the pings a new lease of life Not even what size the shafts are so anyone shed some light on that one? thanks in advance PS the 502's have Modus 3 fitted to them before anyone asks !!

hopefully we can get them in the uk but im sure that the guy up my way can get his hands on them. Im not wanting to import them as customs this side seem to stop everything right now which pushes all the cost up. I got charged £30 to get a shaft alone !!!

im sure there wont, he might not have had to order one before. Im thinking that the regular might be a recent addition to the range

hopefully the fitter will have a demo hes pretty clued up , so hell keep me right impressive figures something close to that would be good, my swing speed is about that as well but my distance is down on that

what flex in either of those would be similar to the dynalites in reg?

im happy with a highter flight if i can gain a few yards and a decent dispersion , the matrix was all over the place but mainly high right !

the tt are in my other set. I got fitted for them at the titleist fitting centre in scotland. I like the flight of them but a lower flight would be preferred if possible im trying to justify keeping the epons cos i really like the feel of them and cant get the matrix programs to work for me so want to reshaft them. Id go with anothe rset of the Dynalite but would like to try something else

True Temper Dynalite Gold XP in regular mid to low flight , lots of wind in the north east of scotland !!!

I need to try and get a hit of both flex's me thinks ? The problem is we have very few guys up my way who can A supply the shaft B have demo clubs ( cost etc) C have the knowledge to help !!!!

modus is the route im thinking about going down when you say softer flex ........ you meaning stiff is like regular/firm ? reading on here it looks like the taper c might be too stiff for my swing?

ive managed to track down a supplier in scotland , same guy who i bought the epons from !!! I fitted the matrix shafts without trying them , bit of a school boy error now but seemed like a good idea at the time , expensive one though ! Certainally look the part haha Whats the flex like? the true temper shafts i got fitted for are regular thanks for the help guys

is that the modus 3 that im reading about on the nippon site? ive had a set of nippons previously think it might have been 950 what sort of flight and distance you gettin with them?

anyone tried the nippon modus 3 ?
