  3. Haven't been to one myself but the GolfSmith one in Austin would seem like a good one to go to. Besides the great courses there is a ton of things to do in Austin while not learning how to build clubs.
  4. Many of the reshafts I do are "emergency type reshafts that guys want done right before they tee off. I use the 5 minute epoxy from golfsmith and have had no problems at all. As far as the Royal Onyx stuff, I agree, totaly worthless for reshafting clubs. Very helpful however to redo Callaway Medallions and little things like that.

My Apache literature says. "This model was designed around stronger players looking for a shaft with low torque, higher kickpoint and firmer tip section." It is a 93 gram, 2.9* torque mid kick shaft. This is a very good shaft, especially for a fairway wood. As long as the flex is correct for you then it should work in whatever you install it in. Try the driver first and if it doesn't work out then try it in a fairway wood. If you decide to install it in the LFE I don't think I would tip trim it any. If installed in a std bore hosel then tip trim 1" for driver, 2" for 3 wood, 3" for 5 wood.
