im still to hit the 405 never mind the 435. it looks to me very like the 510 tp, but how do these compare? i was hitting a 510 tp last week and was bombimg it.....so any insight would help :tsg_smilie_cool:

i also have never hit the m65 stiff, however i use the m75 stiff in my 3 wood, which is absolutely awesome. for a 3 wood the 75 is perfect, it feels very lively.....but plays to flex. i find its very easy to cut and draw as well as control the trajectory! - however for me the 75 tends to stay lower and definately doesnt balloon! i assume the 65 will play with the same great feel, but with a slightly higher flight - this woud come from the increased swing speed.

i totally agree with you here bruinduke! this is one thing that i have always stated to friends.......i tell them i change because i enjoy it, that technology allows me to play to my potential....but never have i thought or stated that it will make me a better player!!!!!!

assuming you have hit both now chris, which feels more solid, and which is more forgiving? if you have not hit them yet and have just had a chance to look at them, which sits more square and in you opinion looks better? :tsg_smilie_cool:

need to know what you are looking for in terms of feel, kick, distance, consistancy and flight!

i had the 6564 tipped half an inch before and my ss is 105 with driver, i found this shaft to play too stiff for me. yes i could manage it but the 6060 tipped half an inch just seemed to out perform it no bother. with the 6060 i had plenty of feel, lots of carry anf lots of fun! i say go 6060

for length the two best shafts ive had were thw W60 Graphite Design and the Axiv. Both ofd these had unreal feel / kick through the impact zone...which i believe contributed to the added yards! for you i would suggest a w60 stiff tipped half an inch....this will feel to you quite whippy, but it WILL be stable with a 105 ss. the TX flex imo would be too stiff especially if you want more yards. Also in the axiv i would go for the 6064m. There is one other option that i would suggest trying, that is the Graphite Design Tour Ad m55. this is the new model, very lightweight which would increase ss and help give you mre from your driver. I am yet to try this shaft, however judging on the previous M series shafts...it should rock!

Very true, the online machines and even the launch monitor IMO dont really help that much.... ie ive been on it twice and got on terribly with the shafts recommended. the only way i have ever found a shaft i liked was through trial and error!

from address this looks very similar to the current viq 450, however from the sole it is was more funky! also it looks the technology in this model is alot more advanced!l

in my opinion the prgr 320 takes the cup, however i am yet to try the beautility!

905T IMO is a short ass anyway. Japan imports i would highly recommend, the Tourstage viq450 or new X drive 435, the srixon w505 (which i currently have), or else the new PRGR! from past experience PRGR are the top of the range, with very high quality and performance. USA domestic market i would suggest the g5 or the new nike Sq.....

All down to the $$$ they spend on R&D and the quality forgind process.....Gauge rocks!

Honestly not sure mink as i have never tried the 202s. however i can say that these are probably the sexiest looking irons ive seen in person! they are very forgiving and the feel is just mizuno!!!!! I would definately cconsider a set, however they would need to be like these, ie custom mizzys, with a satin finish and a thinned out sole, and my grind etc etc etc

This is very true, ive been demoing a set of the 05 scratch cbs and they are awesome easy to hit. Im actually having ari make me up a proto cb at the moment, to see if they can challenge the great gauge design irons! as for the mb2s and nc1s they both play fantastic with the 1150s! you cant go wrong.

the muscle back version known as the MB was released at the beginning of 05. i had a set of these, as well as my current mb2s, nc1s and nc1 handmades. all of the set feel identical, soft yet solid! the forgiveness of the nc1s and the mb2s are greater than the forgiveness of the MBs, however the MBs are by far the easiest BLADE i have ever hit.....ie they are in no way hard to hit, just not as easy as the oter two sets. Any iron produced by gauge in 05 gets my thumbs up! :tsg_smilie_cool:

believe me guys if its like all the other gaue ear the pics will do it no justice! i believe gaue only bring out a product if its at the peak of technology, so i await the release! 15* with a gd m75 or diamana red!!!! :tsg_smiley_yes: :tsg_smilie_cool:
