yeah that ultraman japanese headcover rocks! its way different than anything ya get here. Also i really like the Japana only adidas hat headcovers chris had in stock a while back.........this is IMO a more class rocket headcover! :tsg_smiley_yes:

i can only go by the set that i had chris, which where not a custom set! the soles on these were pretty thick....ie i could see the sole on the 3 iron from address, like the 3 iron of the g2 irons...where it was sort of like a utility iron. Did you have a special grind on this set?

Great news Brian. as i said they are very forgiving yet very solid, not clunky or clicky like the x tours! now you need wedges, putter and beautility when it comes out lol :tsg_smiley_laughatyou:

Mp 60s imo are mor of a players cavity. Much smaller profile. Head size is small, topline smaller, sole smaller! Both feel like good quality mizuno products, maybe the 27s being slightly softer due to their satin finish. the 27s could still be classed as a players cb, i would play them in an instance....although it would need to be one of chris' custom sets with the sole of the 3,4,5 thinned out!

They are currently in the TourSpecGolf Proshop, and look absolutely emense! bet these things are rockets.....

IMO you are definately an R flex! and yes you are looking for a mid to high kick shaft. If the flight was not an issue my recommendation for you would be the Diamana Red 63 r flex. However seeing you desire a lower flight, i would suggest you forget about the Diamana range. These tend to hit up, up and up! Great shaft that feels very smooth! The axiv 6060 (as Ben mentioned) Mid or High kick range would be my next recommendation for you. This range of shafts is awesome long but imo not as tight as the diamana. with the high kick you will notice a lower more penetrating flight, however no loss of carry. Both of these shafts have oodles of feel, which will suit you slower swing speed! Both will provide great distance, the diamana i feel will play tighter and the axiv will play longer! your call

Exactly what i love about the gas1s. and exactly why mine will be staying in the bag over the SQBTs! I think golf is a game of fun, and for me to max my enjoyment i have to get lots of spin from my wedges lol! :tsg_smiley_yes: With the gas1 this is reality, the grooves do literally eat into the ball, which ultimately becomes expensive ( buying new balls) but gives such satisfaction!

i was never into mizuno woods either, but i recently got a japan mizy jpx three wood that rocks! so now im thinking the japan mizuno woods may be the way forward........Too many driver options for the up and coming months...whats a ho to do!

Im totally stunned by how cool this new gear looks. the driver with a gd pt-6 for me or else an m55!

Rest it untill the pain eases up, then whenever you go to play golf take painkillers.....there is also a gel called Brufen which helps take away from the pain when playing!

lol Cast offs! hope you enjoy it d**ksy.....I t just didnt have the x factor to kick my GAS1 out! but boy did i love feeling the face on that thing! Combo between the sharp grooves and the milled face......she felt like a spinning wizard.

lol they are sexy! but i wasnt to fond of the long irons, as from address i couls see the wide sole! i find this off putting. However they were extremely easy to hit and feel was, well it was Mizuno!

Now that will be fun chris!!!!! as for the feel of the SQBT, i hope it didnt come across that they were hard! they are IMO softer than any wedge offered on the retail / domestic market. i really just meant to say that they were not as soft as the GAS1s!

Cant wait to hear the reviews on the gold irons ALU and hows the stand up against the great gauge irons! as for the mb2s....these you will not be disappointed with!!!!! :tsg_smilie_cool:

went ahead and bought a driver from chris....Srixon 505 with Diamana red! So far im liking this Red version better than the blue version. IMO it does go higher and definately feels weaker in flex. However it is just that the shaft has an extrodinary amount of kick! With this amount of feel i would usually expect to see a huge loss in accuracy, however i havent yet! and to be honest im actually hitting more fairways.....i feel this is because instead of my normal tendency to push my drives i am now getting a wee draw, this may be due to the low kick, delivering the club slightly earlier!!!!! Definately i will have to put it up there with my favourite shaft - the Graphite Design W60. both of which i slightly prefer over the Blue diamana! I think if you rely on feel and the feel of KICK through impact this shaft will assist you greatly! it will produce a lovely high flight to optimise carry, however not balloon!

Guys just to keep yous informed i have now 100% went back to my gas1s. althought the asbts are an excelent wedge with great face technology and grooves, i just couldnt knock my reliable gas1s out! i have become accustomed to their soft feel and their gruesome grooves! Anyone that is looking into either wedge needs to ask themselvesdo they want 1....Very soft feel, rusty face, grooves that absolutely shredd the balls or 2....Soft feel, firm but very responsive, very controllable around the greens, less aggresive grooves! Any more guys that have tried either wanna comment? :tsg_smilie_cool:

As said above i did have the HO urge and ended up buying a JPX with an m75. however after playing both this and the XST i cant help but think what the XST would be like with the M75 Tour AD shaft! Why such thoughts? because the XST is and has been the single best looking 3 wood head ive seen to date! feel of the face is soft yet solid, i think i just didt get on with the nippon steel fw shaft! Chris can this be ordered with an M75 as custom?

Hey guys i just received my w505 yesterday installed with a red diamana ( Thanks Chris)! :tsg_smilie_cool: Mini review on the srixon head....shaft review for later lol! i have to agree with alot of what Tourspec says about this head..... In terms of looks, from address the deep faced, pear shape sit beautiful behaind the ball! I appreciate what you are saying chris about the brushed satin sole now! The ball flies off this face, it comes of alot faster than my previous VIQ450, however it did not result in distance gains....both were identical! The feel was much different from my VIQ, much firmer yet not harsh like the R7's! Also in correlation with chris's findings i found that this driver was KIND to my bad shot, which is hit high toe, this resulted in a slightly diminished feel however with minimal loss of distance! All in all im very very pleased with the driver and would honestly recommend it to those looking an xmas pressie!
