lol if ya wanna compare scars my left index fing has an inch scar over the knuckle!!!! still is very sore when gripping the :tsg_smilie_wah: club.!!! silly boys with toys eh!
  2. That could be messy! and if you only want to silence it slightly it may be a tedious job for the clubmaker to get it to your exact level of Metallicy sound lol. I say sell her on ebay and buy a new japan import driver, you will get much more pleasure from this than spending $$$ on the silencing procedure! Many of the japan imports ie tourstage x drive and the srixon dont have the loud loud sound, they have more of a solid thwack at impact, that lets provides lots of feedback yet allows your ears to function as normal!
  3. Definately a good idea phil. Members will soon see improvements in their Accuracy and Distance ( lol Tour AD = Accuracy and Distance!) as well as a big empty hole in their wallets! But hey all for the good of the golf game..... :tsg_smilie_cool:
  4. chris have you any idea what the grind on these is like and what sort of player they would suit? I think il have to secure a set........
  5. its a bit shiny for me but im sure they are gamers! Can you custom order any other finishes?
  6. The max heads are the illegal heads right? therefore they have a higher COR meaning they rebound. with all rebound heads and Hihg COR heads the sound is deafening! You can have the sound dulled down or muted as some would say. Your best bet is to give Joe Kwok a ring or send him an email and he will talk you through the process. I remember him turning high cor drivers into muted a few years back, so im sure he would be happy to help!
  7. Any pics Ari????

Top notch chris....so we should be expecting great things from you early 06 then lol! :tsg_smiley_yes: :tsg_smilie_cool:
  9. i too hope they dont jump on the 1000 dollar shaft wagon! but to be fair to GD i think their Tour AD Japan range is of superb quality and to be honest is probably IMO the best manufacturer of the moment. This is my opinion and within this i AM including the 1000 dollar shafts!
  10. great pics chris! The irons look as though they were based on the same style as the mr23s. Which would have made sense since you seen them 2 years ago. But dont you think that style or look of player cb is tiring? Wedges look very tasty! any ides on the face and groove technology they are using? ie milled face? square grooves? etc
  11. interesting chris......yet again another driver with a high sweet spot. As for the COG...what does the shallower cog actually achieve? doe it produce a slightly lower ball flight?

Moral of your story JT....dont buy one from ebay lol!
  13. Lance after hitting my new mizuno jpx i will admit that it is by far the easiest 3 wood i have ever hit! the shaft and head combo is just perfect for my game at the moment! i say at the moment because, being a ho i know il change sooner or later! This club gives me a great launch angle, high flight that does not balloon, it is easy to work left to right and right to left and most of all is simple to pick up of the deck! All i can say is make sure you GO IMPORT, more specifically GO JPX! LOL :tsg_smilie_cool:
  14. great prize giveaways! TSG is officially now the BOMB!
  15. My pullout w60 that came from a tourstage measures exactly 43 3/4 inches with an iomic grip on it! Hope this helps :tsg_smilie_cool:
  16. lol sf we believe you! oj Great work Chris, really does look like a good job! So tell us whats the driver and was it just a bad swing lol?

Chris any chance of Gauge producing a Napa style putter with the 3RTNC face........that would be schweet! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  18. Edwin because the fw is much shorter than your driver you need a slightly heavier shaft. The heavier shaft when cut to playing length should roughly weight around the same as your driver. The purpose of this is to achieve a playable swingweight! If you put in a shaft that is too light, you will achieve a silly swingweight making the performance of the club off! Ask your clubfitter he will be able to give you a more detailed response.....
  19. And soon it will go once the new Gauge Beautility come lolololol! :tsg_smiley_laughatyou:

Try the Graphit Design M75 Tour AD - i recently got this in my three wood and i can say the performance is outstanding. it mid/higher kick keeps the ball down, instead of creating the staircase flight! its a very solid feeling shaft however with more than enough feel. I have found it very versatile so far....ie i can work the ball easily with it. Not to mention its so purdy! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  21. Funny you ask Phillip, the GD Tour AD range is one that i have limited experience with! i have only tried the W60 and the M75. THe W60 was in my driver for a good while, the feel - kick from this shaft was unbelievable. it kicked like a mule through impact. it was also so easy to work the ball with due to its slightly higher torque, and the laubch was high due to the low kick. So why did i change......bad flex selection. If the hadnt brought out so many new shafts for 06 i prob would have ordered my new driver with a W60! The M75 is in my Mizuno JPX three wood. I can definately feel the higher kick point in this shaft, which gives a really good flight for the 15* loft head! It is lesss of a distance shaft compared to the w60 but is definately more stable...ie more accurate. Although this is more stable i still feeel the shaft has a lot of feel to it! it is totally different IMO to a Fuji, in the respect that it is not boardy or dead!!! All in all i think so far both Tour AD shafts i have tried are of the highest quality, feel is equal to any and the performance is up there to. Also IMO it is worth every penny in comparisson to the likes of the Ozik. And for my game anyway, it is much more suitable!!! :tsg_smiley_yes: :tsg_smilie_cool:
  22. Another drill i remember using, which i also picked up from a pelz coach was ........ keeping my chest locked - pointed at the ball, widen the stance and let my arms swing back and forth. This helps eliminate all excess body movements in the putting stroke! Usually an unsteady putter not only uses hands and arms, but turns their shoulders and body into the putt also. If this is you then give the drill a try!
  23. I think what Tourspec is saying is that currently there are no custom options available from Gauge Design Japan, despite them offering such facilities previously. If it is a Gauge putter you are looking for, look no further than your very own TourSpecGolf Pro Shop! Chris offers the whole range of putters and is very fast, efficient and friendly!!! :tsg_smiley_yes:

simple knife job! but as tourspecgirl advise be carefully mostly not to cut yourrself!!! i remeber my first time regripping i didnt bother to use a clamp and i nearlly had one digit less
  25. GO PELZ. i went to the pelz method and my putting has improved greatly!!!! to practise my stroke i set my putter head against a wall, get into the putting position, eyes over the ball, arms hanging straight down from my shoulders and swing the putter against the wall. Practising this for 5 mins a day and you will see a huge improvement in your putting and the consistency of your stroke!!!!
