they truely do look awesome....especially the baby blue and the pink models...ummmm :surprize: however id be of the same mind as chris in that i dont like the newport shape, as it is more rounded rather than square.... also ones that are finished to look balanced in that there are not 10 different stampings all over the show lol. i have had the pleasure of 3 tour scotties in my time, 2 sss and 1 gss......i personally prefered the feel of the sss. All 3 where unreal putters and you could see the quality in them, however none rolled off the face as the gauge! :love: :cool:

have you hit either the z steel, the mizuno jpx or the tourstage xst yet chris? im in the mood for a 3 wood and wanna choose wisely! :laugh: :cool:

i have played both and personally i hated the accras....i had a very bad experience! :blackeye: :fever: personally i thought the axiv gave much more feedback, it had more feel, more distance...carried and rolled and to me and my game it turned out to be a better shaft! :cool:

just reshafted with a banzai to try it out and it does feel abit light! think the nspro will be back in her very soon ! lol

This isnt even a rip off attempt.....the scotty tours have a CIRCLE T stamped on the heads not just a T! IMO this is definately a fake..... :cool:

I KNOW , MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY..... :laugh: i actually dont mind the look of them, and think those wedges loook groovey! they look similar to the x wedge with the muscle sticking out in the back.... any release date or are these purely prototype? :cool:

o flip...i like the looks of the us spec better cause they were so pretty, however i really liked the look of the viq forged....i think these will be awesome and another winner from tourstage! chris do u know if these have the turbo rubber in them like the viqs do?

fair enough...i had a tour issue nike t60 that i sold to one of the members....it was a bomb! sooooooo good of the tee, but off the deck i prefer slightly more shallow! hope it works out for the two of us! :laugh:

deeper....could you get any deeper than the fst...i havent seen one in person but i think that thing looks crazy deep!

have to agree with you, i love my handmades lol. although a well struck maru was awesome too! personally i dont think these will sell, as even if you did desperately want a set, im sure you could pick up a second hand set for 500 or less! The no bids really does say it all!

just ordered my xst zodia and am also talking to chris about a viq 450! once i get both all i need is the viq ut and i have my BEST BAG EVER lol! PS how are you finding the viq 450

Hard stepped is when you make the shaft play stiffer by putting the pw shaft in the 9 iron etc...or 4 iron shaft in the 3 iron. By doing this you achieve a slightly stiffer flex / frequency without going up a full flex. Soft stepped is basically the opposite, where you put the 9 iron shaft in the wedge and so on....ie 2 iron shaft in the 3 iron. this helps give you a slightly weaker flex / frequency without going down a full flex. in terms of weight the nippons will be the lightest, then rifle then the dynamic gold. IMO the 1050s play the best out of the 3 shafts you stated....as they are lighter which increases distance and have the best feel by miles....if it is a slightly better ball flight you are looking then go to the 1150 as these are meant to have a stiffer tip! For you Phillip i would reccomend either the 1150s hardstepped in stiff, this should give you the most from the shaft and wont be too stiff ! :cool:

mp27s everytime..... not only will these feel as good as the mp60s, but they will be a hell of a lot more forgiving! with the mp27s you will get the most out of your game, ie play well you will gain the tremendous feel from the forging, yet when you play bad they will not punnish you as much as the mp60s. Also there is the bling bling factor......the mp60s will be standard everywhere shortly, whereas the mp27s are japan only and will be unique amongst any four ball! i have a 3 and 4 iron mp27 here, throw me a pm and we can discuss :cool:

no pics or info on the new mr23s as of yet! everyone is dying to get a sneek peek of them! :wah: . as for new forgings i would seriously recommend you consider Gauge Design, Tourstage and srixon as these have given me the most satisfaction out of any irons in the past! all three have super players cavities on the market at the moment.... 1. Gauge Japan Nc1's 2.Tourstage VIQ forged or the X Blade cb 3. Srixon i505 Japan only this is what is currently available, all are quality.......however if you hang tight till next season there will be new 2006 line ups.........which im sure will be :cool: :surprize: :laugh:

fhantom have you tried either? what sort of ball flight do you currently achieve ? i love both the px shafts and the nippons..... IMHO i think the nippons feel is unmatched by any other shaft on the market.....beautiful kick through the ball. My only problem was that both sets i have had where too light. next time i try nippon i will go for the 1150s. the px shafts dont have anywhere as much feel as the nippons, they feel more wooden, however they do feel super solid to me. i found i strike the ball much more consistent with the px.......with a lot better flight. if you are going for the japan x tours with nippon i would suggest the 1050s or 1150s......as these will perform better in terms of trajectory. also although you do not like the cosmetics of the japan version, if it is nippons you want or play best with then........you have to forget about how pretty or attractive your set is and think about whats best for your game! choosing the correct shaft may save you some :money: whhen playin your buddy for a few bucks! :laugh: :cool:

i changed from my nippon 750s to project x 5.5s because the 750s wer too light! i really like the project x as they are solid...... however i do want to try the 1150s as ive heard such glowing reports....can anyone recommend a flex for me equivalent to the 5.5s and aside from the nice feel of the nippon....will there be any other difference?
