  1. chris in terms of softness how does the gdo ( or the balde style face ) compare to the a3sp i bought from you?
  2. glad to help mrzodia....or is it mr gauge now?
  3. lol very good jacque! mrzodia the 58 is great outa sand, i just open her up and let the bounce do the rest of the work. i find it just slides under the ball and picks it up so easily! best thing for ya to do is order one and try it for yourself, i gaurentee you will not be disappointed!
  4. honestly not hard to work at all.......example..i was playin yesterday and found myself hittingg all sorts of shots, low draws, low cuts, high draws, each shot seemed effortless to produce! ive never had a set of custom mizzy, which im sure are very sweet!!, but i know the overall performance o mp 32s and 33s and these easily blow both sets away! IMO if you can get your hands on a set of nc1 or a set of handmade studios like mine.....GO FOR THEM! dont hesitate
  5. tourspecgirl what grip does this come with......also does it come with the white zip headcover? i think il take it! do u got a PINK iomic grip as well?
  6. will do my friend!
  7. sfgolfer honestly the pics dont do the clubs any justice...they are stunning! compared to the cb201...... LOOKS. i loved my cb201s, they were my gamers, or my go back to clubs because i was so confident with them. they are a small players cavity that looks bladey but is actually pretty forgiving. As far as looks are concerned i cannot compare the two because the cb 201s are fairly boring, whereas the gauge are very pretty and actually very modern when looked at closely, with much detail put into the cavity! from address the gauge definately inspires more confidence because its topline is ever so slightly thicker! the gauge dopes look less of a blade.....however i dont want you thinking that the gauge have thick toplines and are chunky..... FEEL. in terms of feel i would have to say both sets have their merits, where the 201s are very crisp, firm at impact the gauge are softer, providing a beutiful tingle in your hands when u strike out! Both sets provide great consistency, and seem to reduce the spin rate on the ball causing less chance of balloning which is a major + in ireland! personally i much prefer the soft feel of the gauge especially seeing there was absolutely no loss of distance! DISTANCE was pretty similar between the two, i did notice that the flight of the gauge was higher but still unaffected by the wind....therefore it was not ballooning. FORGIVENESS. the gauge definately are the most forgiving players cb i have ever hit, when hit pure they fly, but what was most impressive was heel and toe strikes....the feel was only slighter affected and distance loss was minimal, unlike the shots compared with the cb 201's....which when struck of centre felt very harsh and dead! all in all guys i have a new gamer set, and have just sold my miura cb201s as i can never see myself choosing them over the gauge cbs. tourspecgolfer told me soooo much positive things about these irons but i was skeptical, now that i have bought them i truely appreciate his advice......all i can say is QUALITY!
  8. i havent used the z com yet but ive tried alot of the diamana range.... if your swing speed is 100 plus i would recommend an x untipped....especially if your getting the 63....i have a ss of 100 with driver and found that the diamana 63 s was very soft went straight but too high and no roll.... hope this helps. ps diamana is a very smooth shaft with great feel
  9. that is my one criticism about them, they do seem to eat into the balls alot! but hey it SOOOO much fun spinnin the ball that much! The grind on these babies are awesome to.....so versatile, i honestly find it easy playin them outa all sorts of horrendous lies!
  10. IMHO rifle shafts have very little feel in them, with little kick. the best way i can describe rifle is that it stays with you at all times. distance is average with standard rifles and i seem to get a very high ball flight. as far as the nippons go, they are much lighter with ALOT more feel. i get the feeling of a kick through the impact zone......but surprizing with little ballooning effect. distance is great with these as well as the dispersion. all in all i would have to say i MUCH prefer the nippon shafts and over the last year have had great success with them. currently im trying the px shafts which are nice, but i dont reckon it will be long before i change back to the ns pros!
  11. just adding some pics of my gas1 wedges..... after playin for around a week i cant honestly say these are awesome. they have increased my confidence around the green because now i basically fly the ball to the hole and know it will check up! the spin off these suckers is unreal! http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bernardea...lbum?.dir=/d04c
  12. here is the URL to some pics of my handmade gauge irons... http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bernardea...lbum?.dir=/1e9f enjoy, i know i am
  13. anyone got any good info on the zomo range of putters? especially the prototype type 3 that is in the tourspec catalog. would the quality of Zomo be up to the quality of gauge design japan?
  14. i hate 99% of TM drivers so i doubt id like the r7 xd.....would love to give the viq 450 a try though....possibly with the w60 or the axiv! love the look of it apart from that awful alignment v on the crown!!!!! ps great pics

nice summary chris, and great pics. ive decided to go for the UX2 with the nippon and il do a comparison between that and my gauge g001 with the graphite desigh hybrid! anyone tried the graphite design hybrid in the UX2?
  16. diamana stiff flex IMHO is not stiff at all.....there is mucho feel and kick in the shaft and if you swing more than 100 i personally would recommend going to an x
  17. chris would the M2AL be less forgiving than most other putters due to the small insert face...ie if it wasnt hit out of the middle would it be dead? also do u have any of 'the one' in stock or for sale??
  18. looks CRAZY? cant wait to hear review.....let us know if its long! i need a few extra ards lol
  19. yummy!
  20. chris whats your opinion on ..'THE ONE' is it the exact same face as the balde? and ehat is this face good for...? extra roll?
  21. just to confirm...Tourspecgolfers words on the difference between the gauge handmades and the nc1s is...... the long irons have a shorter yet deeper milled hump and the short irons have a taller thinner CNC hump....... This provides a lower C.O.G where its needed.
  22. just read the review in the tourspec JDM.....thanks....
  23. is there still one of these available chris???

love the look of these...i have only hit the clk (us retail version) an thouht it was excellent but chris thinks the UX2 kicks ass......il have to trust him on it as IMO he aint been wrong on quality before! id love to hear a review of the tourstage VIQ and the UX2
  25. most solid driver i have hit would have to be the tourstage maru spec followed by the r510 tp. i really want to try the larger x drive 2 as ive heard great reports! i would also have to agree that the larger the head, although it helps with forgiveness, does take away from the solid feel at impact.... chris how would you rate the VIQ 450 in comparison to say the tm drivers....and if its feel the player wants would u recommend this or the xd2
