driver--- ryoma 9.5 v spec fairway... seems like the ryoma or the on off take the cake at the moment. ute -- tm make an rbz which i hit and hit very wll and i cant hit utes! or the onofff are great to play with the pentacross shaft. failing htem the RC ive always found to be t extremely nice to play. blades--- to be perfectly honest here. theres still nothing anywhere near as easy to play as the af tours. ive tried al lthe newwer baldes and the epons are streets ahead in EASE. if u want something a little more scimitar esque. the yonex ezone are peerleess. buth te differnce here is striking. nothing like each othe what so ever. i think of my epons as a solid cavity, not a blade. so so nice to play. shaft em with NS super peening.

no its not . ' the max my guy will bend a club is 3-4 * after that he says it compromises the integirty of the steel too much and its very suseptable to breaking. i think what ur trying to do is impossible

i didnt get any spin with it at all. but thats the head id say. it feels like a very differnt kinda shaft to what im used to. soft smooth , chilled kinda feel to it i realy like it. i didnt have to fight it going right it wasnt going to snap hook, i could just swing thru the ball and it went straight. i also had the epon 101 crazy boron out as well, and (as an aside is such a perfect combo for anyone thinking good combos, long high easy ot hit, this is great. ) but i only hit that once yesterday and hit the fiamma the rest of the day. only negtive thought i had about this driver was it " felt" heavy, it wasnt really tho, its 323g which for me is less than i normally make. but i couldnt get some head speed up . but results were great, i think it was just in my head. the ball was out where al lmy balls end up so no drama. one thing tho into the head wind on 17 it felt great to have a heavy feel to get thru the wind. going to take this to sydney for sure. be perfect on a cpl of my tracks. chris can u do a blurb on who balileus are and who makes them etcetc i think they are really worth a look. still think the fex when hit off the screws is easily the longest. but if u dont get the screws. gawd...! very flashy grpahics.

the X has a real twang to it when u strike the fiamma doesnt have anything like it . its they GD dj but a whle lot better, as i said tgis head is very very hard and with this shaft it felt soft. i hit the least amount of bad balls on the range with it so i gamed it . in fact i hit one bad shot al lday and it was a straight pull, nothing else. no lateral movement either way think DJ with class

actually can u do heads only on them?

hahhahaha 30- 40 jee that sounds like somone else i know. those type j heads ill have a closer look into. why are they called that not 301?

ok heres a little thing i noticed this weeeknd. i played with a very big strong guy yeesterday SS 125-130 hit humongous high balls. very smooth swinger has a huge arc was using a speeder 757 stiff in a callaway ft something or other,. 9.5* called it the mack daddy of shafts. ive never seen anyone hit a higher ball in my life it was unbeleiveble . just rediculous. if he had my arc , with my clubs ( and i was using my yamaha 10* diamana X 60 ) oh and he was flying me by 20 yards. most shots, but NO roll no follow on ,in fact backspin on a cpl. end result we were neck neck whole day. if he had my club he woulda been 40 yards further past me. minumum is my guess think dustin johnon swing on a 6ft 7 athlete. so aftwe the match we discussed clubs, he listened a bit more intently when i told him my ss is about 20 mph slower than his . and he hits a better ,cleaner , smoother , prettier ball by a mile on the drive than i do. he picked up all my clubs at match end and was like ok how do i get sorted. theres a little more than just pretty looks and high price tags to these things we kinda love. substance i like to call it.

used this today in the kamui pro 9.5 * head 45.25 inch 323 gram low ball lama! really low ball lama. one word for the fiamma? smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth. seriuosly smooth as silk delight to hit. very muted sling at impact. complete oposite of the quadra FEX accuracy was spot on. distance good . all round playability excellent, just a bit low. suited to day as agn it was windy and the extra low punch i got was nice reward. got one very long shot off with it so yes it can go far. feel is ver yrubbery feelsl ike the ball sits o nth eface or ever then just kinds mosies on out to yonder pastuers over there. thoroughyl enjoyed it steped on a cpl and was great laid back on a cpl and was great good shaft did i say low?

well i saw one in one of the largest shops today, with a basellius 70 x shaft, so i had to have it iasked about the qualkty of it and the guy i know very very well said the quality of these is absolutely first class. i had to try this shaft so i bought it . this shaft is supossed to be the very top quality as well. he aid this will be very low launching and seriosuly good feel to it. cant wait.

wonder why they dont releasee these here. ive never seen em about anywhere. but there are so many tiny brands about that i guess cant compete witheh big OEM doods. they are made in japan i know that much but they arnt for sale anywhere i guess kinda like kamui. 16 hours til play time ,cant wait!

guys , i hit this agn last night miinimum of 30 balls each with the diamana x and quadra fex im even more impressssed by its performance than i was on the course last week, , no wind 18* perfect conditions nad i was hitting the ball as good as i can hit it. the quadra fex was so much longer than everything else . i was watching the ball catapualt into the back fence on a PERFECT decent about 15 yards higher than with the ryoma, the yamaha, and the diamana X. the X incidentally was once agn far and away tighter all round... the FEX loads longer. i dont know if it s poor quality or not , the guys at the factory seem to think its top of the pops. all i know is what happens when i hit the ball this wins, and wins well. its not soft and snuggly and comfy like ive said , i tried hitting a few powder puff safety drives and i would have been better off turning right and throwing the pilll over the side fence. when i had a crack tho.. stepped on the gas. oh brother where art thou. its huge. i have so many drivers at the very top level wit hhe very best shafts. this is the longest driver ive ever hit. i dont care. who makes what. results count. this isnt for everyone tis for belting the living daylights out of . i havnt hit anything longer. im gaming it on the weekend both days. shud be great weather. cant wait to see how it goes at the long straight wide open fields of narita. narita is THE acid test for length. i think , ill be pleasantly surprised.

they are reverse weighted like the PW is at c9 and the 3 iron at d4ish found out last night they were muscled up NS 1050s . they are tight but ever so slightyly workable. high flight like NS 1050 which were my fav stock shafts a while back.

reading htis inspired me to take my ryoma out lastnight and give it another whirl built mine with a GD 9003x and cut to 44 inch jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez..., have to get used to the length agn after hittting longer drivers i had a great target to aim at. and was playing imaginary holes with this driver for about 10 mins at the end of the session. first thing is its heavy, its low as hell ,and NO spin, i had it injected with gel to get the centre of gravity DOWN specifically to play at home where i dont need alot of distance. just alot of accuracy. what i noticved was its reallyreally hard to tun it over, didnt get one to draw not one. cpl of straight pulls when i stepped on it , but no arc. other thing is i didnt slice it neither. wasnt really long at my ss BEC IT WEIGTHS SO MUCH but it was notoceabley straight. ws hittign stinger drives better then i hit big follwo thru shots im thinking this is perfect for longy and NSW. its coming home to live. the gel insertion makes a humongous differnce. the feel is great now its a real THUD and nude balls fly off the face. specific driver made and passed the test. stil think the crazy 80 ls noir is the best shaft in this head very satisfied. wouldnt reccomend hitting a lot of balls at he range with it tho its really heavy. my arm fell off this monrning .

thats why on yamaha driver heads i strongly endorce 10* heads over 9* unless u can really belt the cover off the ball consistntly to a T. if udont it will go low and right most of the time. the 9 * can be quite stressy, if u dont absolutely get it it goes right every time . if u DO get it clean tho . whoa dragon! the 9* is a low ball lama the 10* just sits ups so much nicer at address nad gives you much much more confidence. instead of changing driver heads completely , get the 10* head. unless of course u want the ultimte in forgiveness. at yr SS the 9.5 ryoma will suffice perfectly, dont go higher. and put that shaft in it thats my mates set tup.. its killer

oki ll give it a whirl in the 60*
