yes,,,, outter reaches of space, small dungeons of tokyo. i had ur set up as well. epon 102-- quadra proto 75sx 8.5* i found that driver fantastic! i thought it was a lot friendlier than the FEX shat , the control was much better. misses werent punished anywhere near as much. it wasnt as low as i expected. i had one fantasitic round with it , i mean top round at narita , i i hit everything screws. loved this driver so i sold it. the ryoma with the ls noir is THE MOST ACCURATE driver ive ever made ever seen/hit/used/imagined. i somehow get tiny baby draws with it and flight is perfect. so i broke it up. distance... thats the thing... distance.... i didnt get what i can with others, so i found i was trying to belt it to get the extra length crunch came when i gamed this alongside the crazy cb50 same head. and the distance gap was noticeable. so too was the amount of fairways hit. ls noir, wanna hit fairways??? stick this shaft in whatever head u like.

yea hang on a tic im back in oz next week ill send u mine
  4. hey yea it was the NS reggio blue white one, made to play alongside the modus, same characteristics i hit a bunch of them at the show nad didnt mind it one bit. had an epon 101 head o nthe mas wel lso i was hittign a combo i would play. spin numbers werent anyhting low like the diamana X i hit 10 seconds after it but the feel was good and flight i seem to recall was good. i idnt mind it 1 bit and i hit the shole shebang 60s -70x yea its not a bad shaft
  5. ive had one, my mate has it now in a yururi tour 53* its light, its very stable, not overly high, it was too short for me that why hes got it now but its a delightful wedge shaft to play. nice littel click to it, i like hitting light shaft in 57-60 but not in 53s and below what i found was esp was itwas awsome to punch shots close to the green to the pin, didnt jump in the air. and has a bit of feel to it yes i d def say get these if u like light shafts
  6. yea well the price hasnt dropped a whole lot. esp for 13 yr old clubs. in JP
  7. blader, i bought the 2011 tourstage 905 blades reccently , they are a bit rounder than the 901, and a lot easier to hit. bit moe soilid thrut he meaty centre and the shape of them is easier on the eye. just in case u thinking of a new blade, i think ul lfind these agreat step up form the 901 same sort of feel but a bit oomphier now as they are thicker . i love how TS doesnt put a new one out every yr, just when they make a new design improvement, which thee certianly are. im getting mine reshafted with monacco now il be playing them this weekend first time. prob the best loking of the new style baldes. and being TS well u know they are good.
  8. why cant yamaha make more of these???? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
  9. veyr similar but the T is red and DG x 100 shafts no im not.. really ) well maybe just a little, special thing ..................................
  10. my bud called me on these , set no 331-500 they are gorgeous back of the blade they have a red T 331-500 written they are really really exxy tho are they just a made in china pop out replice or the reallmccoy from miura san. they are from 1998 and they are in superb condition 2-pw any clues if they are kosher?
  11. no i did some reading there was 3 kinds of grinds. this is hte tour version they are in spectacular condition but only got 3-7 i had no idea they wre in such good nick i just wantee to put em on a wall but icant help my self, gettign the 7 i reshafted just incase...., the differnce in looks to modern clubs is amazing my clubbuilders eyes lit up when he saw these. so did mine
  12. just absolutely magnificent to look at. cant wait to have a hit with them. just to see how they go more than to play i think they will be a display set.

another 18 with this on sat chaps 10* yamaha tour head. bit blowy but nothing trecherous i was driving horribly for the most. back /hips were tired form hititng too many balls, during the week so i wasnt getting thru the pill at all which is good news, in a way bec in a match i saw how bad this combo can get when im not near being right. and its good! very very very good. managed to somhow survive . no loss of ball. 1 o/b. and no punch outs. i felt like i was horrible but actually it was kinda ok, ( jee , my irons must have been woefull!) i was playing agaisnt this huge guy and i wasnt far awayform him most shots. and on 18 when i absolutely centered it with a DRAW,, (yes) i was 15 inside him. (rye smile). the combo is a beautywas prob fighting small fades all day but the results were very pleasing was on the runway most times, distance wasnt great bec i was toeing shots a lot , but i was in good possy. didnt feel like i had to bench the driver at all, and i didnt have a good swing going. that makes a good driver in my mind. yea good shaft. very controlled. liking it a lot now. its loads more controlled than the FEX but not a much as the fiamme and similar to the cb-50. brings the 10 and 10.5* HEADS DOWN A BIT . worth the coin indeed.

the yamaha tour is very good on this its not the longest but its damn good and a really strong driver. the kamui pro is longer. thast all ive got to so far.
  16. exactly what i do. on ocasions, when i have the eggs i fooishly asure my self ill get on all par 5s in 2 i try and clobber it. and end up scuffing . instead of just putting bat to ball, and letttign the egg do its thing i try and do it. bad move. 3 eggs agn now. one always comes into play.

ok cool ill have em pls send em my way.
  18. driver--- ryoma 9.5 v spec fairway... seems like the ryoma or the on off take the cake at the moment. ute -- tm make an rbz which i hit and hit very wll and i cant hit utes! or the onofff are great to play with the pentacross shaft. failing htem the RC ive always found to be t extremely nice to play. blades--- to be perfectly honest here. theres still nothing anywhere near as easy to play as the af tours. ive tried al lthe newwer baldes and the epons are streets ahead in EASE. if u want something a little more scimitar esque. the yonex ezone are peerleess. buth te differnce here is striking. nothing like each othe what so ever. i think of my epons as a solid cavity, not a blade. so so nice to play. shaft em with NS super peening.
  19. no its not . ' the max my guy will bend a club is 3-4 * after that he says it compromises the integirty of the steel too much and its very suseptable to breaking. i think what ur trying to do is impossible

i didnt get any spin with it at all. but thats the head id say. it feels like a very differnt kinda shaft to what im used to. soft smooth , chilled kinda feel to it i realy like it. i didnt have to fight it going right it wasnt going to snap hook, i could just swing thru the ball and it went straight. i also had the epon 101 crazy boron out as well, and (as an aside is such a perfect combo for anyone thinking good combos, long high easy ot hit, this is great. ) but i only hit that once yesterday and hit the fiamma the rest of the day. only negtive thought i had about this driver was it " felt" heavy, it wasnt really tho, its 323g which for me is less than i normally make. but i couldnt get some head speed up . but results were great, i think it was just in my head. the ball was out where al lmy balls end up so no drama. one thing tho into the head wind on 17 it felt great to have a heavy feel to get thru the wind. going to take this to sydney for sure. be perfect on a cpl of my tracks. chris can u do a blurb on who balileus are and who makes them etcetc i think they are really worth a look. still think the fex when hit off the screws is easily the longest. but if u dont get the screws. gawd...! very flashy grpahics.

the X has a real twang to it when u strike the fiamma doesnt have anything like it . its they GD dj but a whle lot better, as i said tgis head is very very hard and with this shaft it felt soft. i hit the least amount of bad balls on the range with it so i gamed it . in fact i hit one bad shot al lday and it was a straight pull, nothing else. no lateral movement either way think DJ with class

  23. supo replied to robbie's post in a topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
hahhahaha 30- 40 jee that sounds like somone else i know. those type j heads ill have a closer look into. why are they called that not 301?
  24. ok heres a little thing i noticed this weeeknd. i played with a very big strong guy yeesterday SS 125-130 hit humongous high balls. very smooth swinger has a huge arc was using a speeder 757 stiff in a callaway ft something or other,. 9.5* called it the mack daddy of shafts. ive never seen anyone hit a higher ball in my life it was unbeleiveble . just rediculous. if he had my arc , with my clubs ( and i was using my yamaha 10* diamana X 60 ) oh and he was flying me by 20 yards. most shots, but NO roll no follow on ,in fact backspin on a cpl. end result we were neck neck whole day. if he had my club he woulda been 40 yards further past me. minumum is my guess think dustin johnon swing on a 6ft 7 athlete. so aftwe the match we discussed clubs, he listened a bit more intently when i told him my ss is about 20 mph slower than his . and he hits a better ,cleaner , smoother , prettier ball by a mile on the drive than i do. he picked up all my clubs at match end and was like ok how do i get sorted. theres a little more than just pretty looks and high price tags to these things we kinda love. substance i like to call it.

used this today in the kamui pro 9.5 * head 45.25 inch 323 gram low ball lama! really low ball lama. one word for the fiamma? smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth. seriuosly smooth as silk delight to hit. very muted sling at impact. complete oposite of the quadra FEX accuracy was spot on. distance good . all round playability excellent, just a bit low. suited to day as agn it was windy and the extra low punch i got was nice reward. got one very long shot off with it so yes it can go far. feel is ver yrubbery feelsl ike the ball sits o nth eface or ever then just kinds mosies on out to yonder pastuers over there. thoroughyl enjoyed it steped on a cpl and was great laid back on a cpl and was great good shaft did i say low?
