swapped the shaft around in this palyed it today ,i reaplced it with a crazy black 50 8.2 at 45.25 d.5 323 gram. lower flight than 10* normally gets.good carry with good roll. found a great combo with what i like to see in flight. the ball is not high , but nor is it ankle bitiing. was windy as hell today , and had no trouble with it what so ever. choked down just a bit and got some prettty impressive shots going on, could not turn it over to hook it. but also there was a very pleasant lack of slice. distance was up there with most others without anything really standing out. just a super solid driver especially into the wind. first round with it on a course thats very tricky and super thin fairways. dog legs both ways ,elevated tees the whole shebang. found i was very confident with this driver in hand.miss hits went very good distance and ever so slight block right without a discernable lack of disatnce loss. wont say its as good or better than the ryoma but i didint notice a whole lot of loss. feel is very tingy and instant repsonse to my hands on where i hit the ball. sweet spot seems to be closer to the hosel than the ryoma and the increase distance gained on this shot was noticeable. getting it on the sweetpsot was much easier than the 2011 model, although i still think the 2011 is longer over all. good driver should enjoy this driver a lot , and the change of shaft resulted in much better driver for me. very very impressed with the 2012. i def think its better than the older ones. got a spot . one of my best.

i really like it, i dont think its anything special , but i have been really driving well with it. the 9.5 is deep and i get it to go very long. the shape is great for my eye , like a cross between the ryoma and the epon 101 and i have to say it hits the ball a long way, i bought the club for the shaft, then thought id try it out , and i was so impressed i bought another one in 10.5, which i think i like better. the have a place in my rotation for a long time. for the money its def a good buy -
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..., well, the thing is ........ when u game the ryoma, and u can only hit one ball. in match conditions THATS when this thing steps right up to the very top of the list. after several rounds u will prob notice that it WONT be the longest driver u ever hit, nor will u be able to bend it much but for the love of god.... i dont think theres anything ive ever hit that gets me on or right next to the fairway more often than this thing does. the differnce , (as we all know ) between bombing balls willy nilly with no pressure in practice, and getting the match ball onto the fairway regularly is humongous. THIS.............. is where the ryoma will just make u smile , im sure of it.

well , how much this has evolved this yr is startling. the only survivor from this was the jbeam 425 tour. the bag i still have . like that one will take that back to oz as my walking bag. the pr-gr egg is still in circualtion. and the irons have been unshafted pending a decision on thier future. i presume they will remain in oz as they like tough turf. just put a nice set of shaimada tours in them and they will be magical once agn. the bag that closed the seaon was ..., driver---- mauman conductor----diamana proto 60s 2wood---kasco FD --quadra fire express 75xs 5 wood--- yamaha v17--diamana stinger X utility----royal collection CVxER 24*---graphite design md7s 5-pw---yamaha tour 2011 --NS proto ORA x wedges----52-56-61 * yamaha 2010 putter----yamada razor balls---tourstage x-01 milds. this was the official 2011season ender bag played at " the eagle" last weekend . being december the bag gets totally redefined bec ill be heading back to OZ for summer golf on links, then cold tough winter grass in tokyo. the bag will be totally differnt for both conditions. yamaha irons dominated the yr ... yamaha fairway woods.. drivers the ryoma early yr... jbeams mid yr... maruman late season... epon 101 was gamed a lot. wedges became the tourstage maurs and the yamaha forged, the putter wnt thru severla manifestations, and the yamada razor has styed firm for the last 3 months, with little to no chance of being swapped out in the foreseeable future. piccys of the end bag coming........., -
that a smokin set up! like the epon 101 ip in there ,that thing is lONG. ur clubs in beautiful condition as well. im re doing mine now as well. winter grass here is super hard . like the 3 iron aswell.

if u want to sell that shaft il have it back immediatly, ill re-do the same bloody club i stooooooooopidly broke up in the first palce! its the best shaft for the crazy 435 ive tried. its absolutelky perfect. massively long combo and light. i would seriously consdier getting the softer flex in it , if its to stout. all the shafts i tried in my 435 s , nothing has played better than that, i should never havebroken that up. but i lived and learned. the illima in the 435 2 get the ball in th air well ,but i found it baloons. the proto migh be ok, but it will be pretty low ,not a low as the crazy. seriosuly , id go the same crazy in softer flex. nothing i tried was better. stinger ... illima....crazy 80 ls noir....p9003x... maybe a GD di will go ok in this , just thinking ............,.

i got one of these pushed to me a cpl of months ago , i was told they are top notch and really exxy. i said sure gimme a test shaft , but he didnt have my flex so i let it slide the guy said it was as good as anyting i have. i was curious but not going to jump without a test.
-
both gone this week. was 10* illcose this down, i forgot.
-
.nope but ive been eyeing these of for long time. they were really exxy. get em, so i know!
-
phew,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that my friends was great buy! good on ya whoever struck.
-
i look around for those but they are the MOST impossible of all shaft there is to get, the guys that have those will not give them up. i look but i no find!
-
hha yea at 450 i dont think so.
-
70 s x 45 x 320 taking that out of it today. lovely feeling club and clobbers the ball but the heads just a bit large for me.
-
if they keeep this up, they will be out of business!
-
diamana stinger. these go pretty nicely together.
-
i tried the new tourstage xjds last few rounds, they are really long and solid, they hold ok but not a lick on the 01 milds. the ayre def longer tho, the ball rockets off the face . i can see me usimng these in the wet aswell. they feel a bit clicky on the putter face tho, quite hard. the 01 milds are nicer to play. not as duable tho they get chunked up after 1 round il give those new newings a burl ,i m a big fan of super newing.
-
ive played both of these driver heads. enough to know them pretty well. the crayz is longer for me NO DOUBT. the ryoma is much easier and straighter NO DOUBT. i watch my buddy every weekend team the ryoma with a roddio shingo spec and pick up 20 yards straight ahead palys his at 46.5 inch , kills it , that out of his hands impossible. the crazy goes higher . which is better? for hitting fairways -------- ryoma ( is anything better?) for bombing the absolute hell outa balls and taking jamie sadlowski to the cleaners? a howitzer... the crazy is great for launching high monster shots its def one of the best for doing that. depends on what u want. u want control , go the ryoma and shaft it with a crazy 80 ls noir , after that u wil have trouble finding spot for a utility . bec u will be hitting irons for the rest of ur life off nice, tight , cropped fairway. shaft the 460 crazy with anything and its kabooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. .

which one? ive been using the premium bril lfor a long time, absolutely love it , when it rains, i dont bother even thinking of any other ball. but in the dry and on hard greens u pay for it too much ive discovered. just too little spin and bite. in the lush of summer here and on moist days tho , its peerless. hard greens im finding the touratage x-01 milds difficult to top.

well....., very good sesshy today. had the 2011 tour 10* --diamana stinger and the 2012 with bb 7s. was hitting the middle all day. i def prefer the tour models in 10* to 9* bec of my swing. im not a high soaring bomber so the extra loft gives me a better look and a better flight. the 2011 is fuller, has a smaller, deeper face , and is lower flight. and i think gets the ball out there just a bit further. the 2012 is more elongated, more rectangle faced. and sleeker the miss hits DEF fly better with the 2012, but i dont think it as long or penetrating as the 2011. its a damn sight easier to hit thast for certian. the feel of the heads aint that far away all the tour heads feel pretty similar over the yrs. crisp with an ever so slight muted sound. the new model i found a bit easier to get thru on, and def easier to turn over. most assuradly easier to got left. i hit draws and hooks most of the session. which immediatly alerted me to the shaft. the new blue white bb 7s ,great looking shaft. has the distinguishable GD feel to it, its soft and ever so muted. its a damn good pairing with this head. for me tho id def get the x flex, as its a soft shaft. the diamana is leagues better, but the price differnential demands it shud be so. the shaft doesnt not feel anything like a DI, its much more flexible . less stiff more whippy. the flight was mid and the trajectory was similar, no fighter jet f16 take off like the old ev range . its a pretty consistant arc which i imagine will get plenty of roll. i liked the flight a lot, its lower than the stinger but not as tight, and def not as nice in yr hands. (but not much if anything ive ever hit is.) played at 45 inch @ d2 i liked this a lot and im taking it tomorrow with full intention of gaming it. its a much easier to hit tour driver than its predeccesors, the feel is almost identical form 09 till now. which is fabulous, as u know what ur getting every time. im just not sold on this stiff flex shaft tho , i think the gd range in stiff comes in on the soft side . id love to hit this with an x as i think itll take those few turnovers out of play. but overall ithink this shaft is a beauty i like it a load more than the di and (dj which i hate ) and its a much better option than the diamana ahina as a stock shaft. as far as yamaha tour drivers go this i feel wil be there best . only one session but i def preferd it today to the 2011, although i think the 2011 is longer, the extra safety net of a slightly wider head just makes this head more appealing to a wider audience and gives just a wee bit more control. very very happy with this driver. shud appeal to a broad audience. 2 thumbs up for this. the combo is good!

i use xs in drivers , but i have to hit x in fairways bec i swing faster. if i go down in flex the ball goes everywhre!

2 weeks old , 30balls hit. HEADS ONLY of options of shafts if required pm me for shaft options played to d2 @ 45 inch with 70 grams shaft beautiful looking head, nothing flashy on it, found it to be a very good distance driver. its low launching, oodles of roll. quite a piercing flight for a head thats not deep. shape doesnt suit my eye, absolutely mint, nothing wrong withthis what so ever. dont worry abt the blue marks on the face, they are just pen marks form the ball i use. i leave em on to show me where im hitting the pill. if u like longer full shaped drivers , then theres not much better than this. $450 shipped EMS paypal
