  1. thats exactl y what i was thinking!
  2. T we need you to chime in here. they said its 100% boron ,super quality, very good shaft . X flex for swingers over 48mp/s. i feel this is my destiny
  3. alomst same specs as the stinger 71 x 2.8 glup............................, ican see the red devil in somehting black. oh no..., im calling now!!!!
  4. thats what i got p9003x in it . its a howitzer. AND it actually feels good too. the p9003x i find is a bit on th dull side, but in the ryoma it aint! that thing is massive. thsoe pt series shafts for the money are money chaps, really good fw shafts
  5. the blue an d black ones pt7 series.? yes indeed! i have 2 of these in a 3w and 5w X-flex the pt are easy to hit , higher launch slightly softer than specified . definatly softer. these in farways are bloody good. all GD shafts ive stuck in FWOODS play really well . i think i like these more than the md series. bit more feel. i still see oodles of them in fwds here , they were a huge hit . good shafts indeed.
  6. rob send those matrix shafts over im sure ihave aset of wedges they will look mustard in.
  7. thks.., might just give these a whirl as an experiment.
  8. MOST def get a pro builder to do it! esp with top enders. dont leave those things to chance
  9. excellent point my dear watson.....! yes , in particular the jbeam head feels stiffer in comp. to less deep heads with the same shaft. but if u havnt got a deep throater..., cutting a FEX 1/2inch , like ive done to many of them does affect the flex a wee bit , not much, but it does ive noticed. it def does the S Weight. i keep coming down in over all driver length more and more , now my hoard is topped at 45 and a few a tad under 45 inch , and the resultant fairwayfinding ability of my driving has improved along with it, tho while the overall distance hasnt gone up, it hasnt really been that noticeably shorter either. ive got a FABULOUS EPON driver at 44 inch now, which i was at loggerheads to cut for a while. i eventually did after constant hounding by the spoon man to do so, ( roddio s7x shaft in it which btw is SUPERB all you doubters out there!) its a LOT higher than im used to now and it took the sw fro m d2.5 - c9.5 . all i lost was 1 gram in over all in weight , to 330g . but the differnce in Swing speed and ball flight is monumental. im up nearly 2 m/s with this driver and about 20 feet launch height at the range on monday , which was alarming to say the least. im gagging to game it this weekend to see how it plays . i only made it last week but the range session i had was .....enlightening. its not a total surprse tho as the driver i hit in hawaii in august was 43.5 inch and i hardly missed , just wasnt long as i normally am, but over there ,who cares! i dont think cuttuing the FEX is such a bad idea. 1/2 inch makes a huge differnece to the feel of it in yr hands but not the overall performance, and ull def be more accurate . 1 inch however is a massive change in everything. 1/2 inch s might be ur answer. id def try it 1/2 cut to stiffen it up a bit . butt thats me. 1./4 from butt 1/4 from tip maybe.
  10. anyone gaming these or used to l i rem hitting one once , felt fine. wondered what they are like to play tho???
  11. ok..., do u think its more of the shaft being light nad gettiting higher SS or just a greta combo. i have a crazy super longest yard , super hard shaft thats 58 grams. that i havnt put in a head yet , ive been ponderign what to put this in, i gottt try it this wekeend. i thought the ryoma first of all.
  12. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm shimada huh. gathering support. they go ok. gonna have to get some wedge shafts soon
  13. hey is that right????? s300 stock huh? gawd. if only, i always have to pull dgs200 from verything here . i cant give these bloody things away here s300 although GD id still prob play those a bit more than s200
  14. i had a word to them a cpl of wekes ago as well, i begged, scrounged, blackmailed, cried yelled, i did everything to get a set of tours,, even a DEMO 7 IRON..... and a driver head early relaese bah humbug!!! not even close. i also mentioned that thier policy of DG s200 shafts in these is just plain LUNACY! there are so many better options available. IMO ur not buying the tour version heads to hit dgs200. looks like they are avaialble now . good stuff.. best of luck to all trying to get these irons and driver heads those that are after them they will NOT be on the shelf after the first hour of release. as per usual. interesting design the new models....................... im going to have to study them hard b4 i swoop this yr. that driver head is laready errrrking me , looks like a bloody diablo desgin all colours and swooshes on it .. need a much closer inspection.!
  15. shafted this up wit the 1050 x sst pured shaft. had a good session with it on saturday, super easy to hit as a player style iron this is pretty easy to hit. very easy really. its really quite soft and buttery, the shaft gave it a bit of "ooomph" tight and light. not as soft as the 950 in it originally. better choice for me for sure. still looks fairly chunky on top. but jeeee its a nice feeling club. just have to work out where on earth ill play em now.
  16. they are similarly muted except the crz 460 which is a rattle snake. the epon 102 is rounded, the jbeams are square. not too dissimilar in feel really ,just a diffferenrt shape. all of the crz , i tend to get frustrated wit at impact, i feel im not getting full value for shot, but when i see where the ball ends up, its all in my head. they go, and go far. the harder the hitter u are the better these things go. the epon 102 is for anyone is just fantastic. i hear its not too bad with a quadra proto either
  17. nope i think ive hit enough .
  18. uve said what ive experienced. 435 is lowest launch 450 lowest spin 425 tour version workable 460 high launch low spin
  19. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is the style of putter ive switched to and am puting as good as ever! oh no i can see ill have to get one made like this....,
  20. hahhaaah she nicks enough anyway
  21. no the actual metal that u hit is caleld sticky metal the finished head is called sticky metal. its really quite soft and nice the explaination got lost in translation.
  22. my club builder makes a set of clubs using s something he calls sticky metal... ihit the 7 iron last weeknd and its bloody beautiful. the head sahpe didnt suit me buthte club itself was lovely. anyone out here know what it is?
  23. way old model i have a few of the 1.618* they are cast. tiny sole can shape the BALL anywhere ,not the head and the 52 is fantastic for knocking down the ball. certianly NOT recomended to bend this. one iota, i jus got lucky. the 56* i manged to bend to 61* can hit that anywhere ilove them but they are cast...., very different shpae, very rounded pear
