  1. yes sorry. thast exactly what i was trying to get at. ididint check the lies on mine i just presumed it was as everything else , but i kept scuffing the heel, no matter what i hit. next weekeend i hit my miuraisms and if anything got them offfthe toe. confused i was................. i took them both to the clubbuilder and low and behold i found the gap was 3* different. so i met in the middle . i play all clubs with a refernece of the 5i at 59.5* or 60* now, that seeems to suit me perfectly. but it took a long time and much much yen to work that out. now im enlightened .
  2. jef im back loving 302s i flattend the bejeussout of my rogue 7 iron 2* and i hit it wonderfully wonderfully.. i think theres a time coming when i might just capitulate and grab a set back. and it has to be in copper!!!!!! if ONLY i knew about flattening earlier. would have saved me a fortune.
  3. hahahahaaha
  4. that right isnt it the af tours are 48* in pw, no? the 302 are 46* if im not mistaken???? iguess ud go 3-4-5-6-7 in 302 and 8-9-pw in af tours thast what id do . the 7 iorn ithink is better with the 302 still get that solid thump . 8-9-pw shoot the lights out . oh and get the lies flattend by 1* at LEAST....!

  6. saw my first set of these today. look like they are made of aluminium, one piece construction reminds me of flighted satin PX. coudnt get any info form the guy, thougth id ask the experts here. whats the scoop on them flight, weight, suitability? i was interested but not overly , as i havnt had any good experiences with kbs tours at all ive had them in a few bits and pieces didnt suit me. but these are pretty eye catching
  7. oh yes......................., the smallest change = the biggest results!!! ns 1150 tour shafts X flex .125 over my standard length lie angle at 62* on ALL wedges 58* bent to 61* 52-56-61 set all same shafts all same perfect pro cord grips i now have the wedges to play on tough short grass. that spin like blazes no need to worry about if these spin . man oh man they do i ndeed! i havnever played better wedge play than yesterday chip in eagle form 30 yards. 5 , yes 5 wedge shots inside 6 feet. for me thats incredible. it wasnt how i did it thats important, its what the ball did when i hit it that counts crisp. check. side spin reverse. perfectrion the soles on them are really small but the back is chunky. so that gives it its thump fabulous wedges just fabulous hope they dont make any more of these , they will become a collectors item GUARANTEED ah my wedge solution has emerged tourstage marus for deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep lush yamaha for crisp sweeping. i know whats going back to oz to live forever!
  8. cheers, i had the op to get these but at the range it just didnt excite me. nothng wrong but no wow factor i passed
  9. ps ..... T ..., pls send me one to try
  10. i guess bec . they sell all of the tour eds. in .0000000000000000000000000000000000005 seconds of release ,at the asking price. long term i guess that wins, customers will buy the new model every yr . quality wise................ put it this way theres nothing ive tried that is better out there. ill say that most unreservadly. most def nothing better. theres a few pieces that are on the same page . in fact after hitting all things good, i prefer to hit yamaha than the others , most of the times. if im on a short tricky track ill revert to my blades , but on my 7000 + yard behemouths like i get here most weekeends. ill ONLY EVER TAKE out the yamahas. they just give me so much more a sense of security . i have to see the new ones in the flesh to get an idea of the new lines but il tell you the 2011s are a spec'd up version of the 06 model, which, the more iplay them i think might be their best ever model. absolutely nothing particularly fancy about those at all, my fav irons. and not really an out and out tour model compared to what else is available! the 2012s i will have to see, bec at first glance piccy wise, they look like they have gone the way of Toustage and put slashes and demons on them. pls god dont let it be so.!!!!!

  13. i shafted my d1 9.5 with a 58 gram superlongest yard super hard shaft . played it at 44.75 inch yesterday. totally differernt feel ,performance. the light super stiff shaft gives this head a very very lievly ping. was hittting it LOW and long, lots and lots of run, not really very moveable but i did get that small push or pull. cant say it was a slice or a draw just went a tiny bit left or right when i didnt get it right. need to play this a bit more bec im not sure if its the right specs for me. 318 gram overall. ilike the idea of it but i think i need slightyl heavier think it will bea good combo , the extra stiffness and light shaft kinda negated one another. didnt feel like a steel rod. was a nice lively low feeling. very low spin id think as the ball found it hard to get airborn. they suit eachother these two, thyemight live to fight another day in my ever ®evoloving driver fiasco. i will also say now that the maruaman conductor 10.5 * super deep straight shot head i shafed withe the diamana stinger 70x and palyed 2 drivers, this being the control driver instead of the kasco or 3 wood wont be getting pulled. these two were a good foil for each other, the maruman was high all carry and while not overly long, was incredibly straight! really liked that
