i think the kasco its got a triangle shaped thin back , big face. almost TM burner tour-esque .. i know hteres a term fo that but it escapes me.

for ME........, 100% the kasco. distance terrific, not as solid as the RC but thats shape realated not quality. the kasco has a much bigger face that says smah the living daylights out of me as hard and often as u like. so i do. the sound tho is horrific! ( or fantastic) its like a whip crack, tingy ping i actually love it now bec i KNOW when ive got it. its def a small driver not a big 3 wood. thats what i like thast the way im going even with drivers coming down in shape size and cavity bigger face the drivers im hititng best are the epon 101 and the maruman super deep. both big faces small bodies but if u like the egg spoon stlye then the RC is yr go.

made this little set up cpl of weeks ago gamed it on sat first time after a few very tasty range sessions you can hit it offthe ground if u really need to. but better off staying away from this unless u swing out of yr shoes. dont think its really made for this shot but its possible ,most definatly but not recomended. i made this for club my home track as a foil for my kasco FD, just felt like trying a differnt driving spoon. theres 3-4 holes that are custom made for a shot of about 270 and this is the club my course is long but u realyl dont need a driver hence my semi obsession with the DS models. i can generate good head speed, centre the shot and rely on a small draw with confidence with this club . me likey. the crazy 80 fw shaft in it is OUTSTANDING so tight, so rigid, and just thumps thru the ball. the feel is fantastic, the shape is like a big 3 wood. not a small driver like the kasco i prefer the fuller shape of the kasco but i hit this one 4 times at 100% . perfect. ripper of a club. if driving is getting u down, and u want an altenate club, then i thoroughly recomend this club,ESPECIALLY if u like a sleeker style FW. actually , i dont really, which is why i always struggele with the egg spoon , a much as i love it , i hit fuller heads much better. get the right flexed fw80 and this head and ur away distance is great wasnt far behind my drives and up with my buddeis if not in fornt with LOTS more control looks l ike the old 3 woods are dead i n the water for me now, ive found the fairway driver things. iver used a cpl of these before and this set up is my fav by a way the extra crazy twang is just addicitive. i think im going to pull the quadra 75xs form the kasco and put a sigma fw in that now . addicted YES...!

crazy 80 ls noir..., i find this a brilliant shaft for just that. not low low, but low good. i have 2 in 7.7 adn 8.2 the 7.7 suits me perfectly at about 48mp/s one of the best shafts ive hit. and i get a draw ewver so slight. its going back in to the ryoma this week.

thats what i got p9003x in it . its a howitzer. AND it actually feels good too. the p9003x i find is a bit on th dull side, but in the ryoma it aint! that thing is massive. thsoe pt series shafts for the money are money chaps, really good fw shafts

the blue an d black ones pt7 series.? yes indeed! i have 2 of these in a 3w and 5w X-flex the pt are easy to hit , higher launch slightly softer than specified . definatly softer. these in farways are bloody good. all GD shafts ive stuck in FWOODS play really well . i think i like these more than the md series. bit more feel. i still see oodles of them in fwds here , they were a huge hit . good shafts indeed.

rob send those matrix shafts over im sure ihave aset of wedges they will look mustard in.

MOST def get a pro builder to do it! esp with top enders. dont leave those things to chance

excellent point my dear watson.....! yes , in particular the jbeam head feels stiffer in comp. to less deep heads with the same shaft. but if u havnt got a deep throater..., cutting a FEX 1/2inch , like ive done to many of them does affect the flex a wee bit , not much, but it does ive noticed. it def does the S Weight. i keep coming down in over all driver length more and more , now my hoard is topped at 45 and a few a tad under 45 inch , and the resultant fairwayfinding ability of my driving has improved along with it, tho while the overall distance hasnt gone up, it hasnt really been that noticeably shorter either. ive got a FABULOUS EPON driver at 44 inch now, which i was at loggerheads to cut for a while. i eventually did after constant hounding by the spoon man to do so, ( roddio s7x shaft in it which btw is SUPERB all you doubters out there!) its a LOT higher than im used to now and it took the sw fro m d2.5 - c9.5 . all i lost was 1 gram in over all in weight , to 330g . but the differnce in Swing speed and ball flight is monumental. im up nearly 2 m/s with this driver and about 20 feet launch height at the range on monday , which was alarming to say the least. im gagging to game it this weekend to see how it plays . i only made it last week but the range session i had was .....enlightening. its not a total surprse tho as the driver i hit in hawaii in august was 43.5 inch and i hardly missed , just wasnt long as i normally am, but over there ,who cares! i dont think cuttuing the FEX is such a bad idea. 1/2 inch makes a huge differnece to the feel of it in yr hands but not the overall performance, and ull def be more accurate . 1 inch however is a massive change in everything. 1/2 inch s might be ur answer. id def try it 1/2 cut to stiffen it up a bit . butt thats me. 1./4 from butt 1/4 from tip maybe.
