The tourstage maruyamas yamahas and kyoeis get bagged the most depending on what course im playing the maruyamas are awsome they tear up balls they are porb no1
  4. great review. i agree a lot with what u found, having most of what u tried. in utes i cant go past RC the bbd form 09 im gaming now, faultless. in fws well depends on conds i play t he yamaha V and RC 304p totally differnt stlyes of clubs, no similarites what so ever. depending on what track i play i game the utes or the 5w yamaha . the18* fw is MUCH longer than the equivalent utility i find. much longer. the poor 3w is almost defunct now. yamaha and RC hard to beat or of course the prgr egg if u want ludicrous distance. good bag ur geting together there! and as for that bunker meijin thing... its so ugly its actual a thing of beauty, esp when i hit the ball straight up and it lands dead flat 5 yards away. no clue who makes it but my guy said tge grooves were legal hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm better check that!!!!!
  5. In an egg not a bad idea as rhey can go higher than more full fws anything in an egg is great

another match with it on sunday and repeat performance small lowish/mid flighted low spinning draws, 2 blocks that ended on first cut right, ,but no slicing balloons what so ever. distance wasnt as good as a cpl of my others (ryoma, jbeam) about 10 ish yards beind normal id think but accuracy was great hit 9-13, nad 2 on 1st cut fringe . (cpl i puled right.) got the ball to sit down a bit lower that i expected in great conditions , and even at 10* ,the flight was lower than i expected. and i drew the ball ever so lightly , which makes a huge change for me . (10* in this head is the perfect loft i think ) centre shots achieved some very very good roll. the face is still just a wee bit smaller than i normaly like but its def. bigger and more confidence inspiring than the tour model at 425cc , a nice compromise. sound is not muted not tinngy, its prob the best sounding driver ive hit, clicky thump, and u can feel the endo forged stlye . . soft and compressing yet sturdy. lovely feeling head. slghtyl harder than the EPON range. going to leave this head shaft combo as is . the 440 power length is not as tight ,compact or over all as solid as the 425 tour version, but its def a bit easier to control, and i think just a little shorter than the tour version when dead centered. but its also a much easier club to hit.! im liking this , this combo works perfectly very good driver. cant wait to see what the yammy guys have in store for 2012

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no probs with these spinning hit a 105 yard 52* shot on sunday to mid of a soft wet green thing backed up 10 feet! ha nooooooo probs what so ever. me likey!
  8. dont think it need trimmin on t he tip. it will lower its flight and stiffen it up a bit, un less thats what u really want butt it, keep the 75 s feel as it is , very tasty as it is, no?

ur best bet is prob ebay occasionally they pop up there. golfwrx no chance there been wtb adds on there for eons, no one parts with them.
  10. i had this exact driver for a while and found nothing like it happened to me. i used it plenty of times in al sort of conds. i found it to be longer than the non ion plated version and softer the ball seemed to stick to the face longer. nope i cant think it slipped lot at all actually. i only sold mine bec i wasnt using it, for a long time while i experimented. i i thought it was a great club. i do prefer the silver faced drives to the black bec i like to see a bigger surface, the black faces to me seem a little small
  11. im calling jamie right now...,
  12. no i got a few other pieces i the mean time but i just revisited the idea yesterday afternoon after i missed 4 footers all day. and it cost me a truck load of coin.. ah the differnce is incredible. i love NS 950 in rescues, but really the crazy ute shafts is so delightfull.

just a bit more on these shafts..., i took them to sydney over the weeknd played 3 games and oodles of practice balls with both the 16 adn 18 utes. im actually bagging both these and the 24 * ute now the 3 wood is on the outer. the overall distance of the 16* isnt as long as a 3w def NOT. id say 20ish yards shorter..., (and agianst the egg mnore like 25+) the accuracy and straightness and unmatchable feel of these shafts tho eliminates my need for long irons and 14-17* fairway woods im using them from tees out of heavy rough. on solid fairways, and hitting small draws, and cuts BUT the ball doesnt go banana, its just the smallest curve. i was playing in really , really windy conditions on totally exposed coast , and interestingly the 18* which i was using for 200-220 ish yard shots went low then popped up just a bit at its apex. and falls over softly. i hit it into the wind a few times abpout 190 and was amazed at the flight its perfect., below the wind for the first 75 % of flight then it pops up and rolls over. lands soft the 16* was just solid low stable and totally confidence building. im grabbing it immediatly whenever i dont absolutely like the look of the drive im facing. before i grab the driver i grab this. i cant say enough positive things about the crazy ute shafts performance in all conditions now and i use them in stiff flex not x if u have to chose a new ute shaft then these are just incredible. i love the feeling of the kaili , its a really good shaft in the fairways and in the RC 24* ute but in comparison to the crazy its not even on the same planet as these things. very very good shafts.. very good indeed. highly reccomended

the shimadas i find extrememly good, they dont have anything that stands out, they just deliver a great shot great trajectory , perfect distance every time oh and the y LOOK mustard white writing down the solid pipes. in my miuraisms they are 100% perfect. i can get small movement with them and count on the ball flying true ireally rate them highly the ns sp blue much lower and stiffer they are my 2 favs.

its just the close quarter shots and deep grass shots that suffer a lot with the non conformers, so ahrd to stop em, that and the balls ilike. (big think about changing full time to the tourstage mild form the premium brills) ive never played the spinners, i play the NS wv and i like them a lot the look of th yammys suits my eye perfectly ithinki ll just use my old 56* yururi 1.618 that i bent to 61* thats a ballshredder and spins like crazy form close quarters ive realised i like small soled wedges , the wider ones i kind of dig a lot
  24. ull strugggle to get a set of 20111 tours.. they wil eventually arise but they are hens teeth here. i had to pay the top to get mine and only in 5-pw veyr very tasty iorns tho all of them the 2012s i know ill end up getting im hopelesss.

at yr SS id have to say the DG x 100s are really hard to beat. they are noticeably lower heavier and straighter then the JDM offerings but they lack a lot of feel i dont hit KBS so i cant say there. but on the proto NS side the 2fi4s are the ones ur after i have a set of paul caseys actual shafts and t hey are high but heavy and straight they are in my yamaha tour 2010s they are on t he cusp for me, i prob need slightyl lighter ones. form the stock offering the Ns sp blue in x will def be ok. i play the stiff and i m gulping at times withthiose the X will be fine skippercarrey plays them swears by them and he goes pretty well. i hitthem in my epon 8-9pw soft stepepd and they are super solid but hte dg x100s ithink over all will be tough to beat for you
