  1. In addition to the info already provided, if the set is new the 5 iron will have the manufact. info on the hosel sticker. Sets are forged in Mexico-Japan & China. Retail versions can come from any 3 of these sites with Mexico being the most common. I have a set forged in China & also had set forged in Japan- both feel extremely solid and butter-smooth.
  2. Check with GolfWorks in Ohio, they should be able to assist you.
  3. Thanks- looks sharper in darker metallic grey than the TM grey or black, mine is going in very soon got to decide on color.
  4. Is that the "Lava Black" finish on the smoothie, ?
  5. I did a white hot 2-ball at the beginning of the summer: Weighed two equal tungsten powders and mixed small amt std 24 hr black cure epoxy in equal portions to tungsten (use 2- 1 oz plastic med cups). For the procedure i decided to use only enough epoxy to slightly wet the powder. Placed putter in vise to set-up 1st cavity-level and partitioned the cavity down the center w strip of rubber adhesive weather stripping- pored tungs-epoxy mix in outside portion of cavity- and let sit till it was tacky. Next step was to remove the weather stripping and mix plain epoxy and pour over entire cavity till epoxy flowed over but below cavity edge, also covered initial epoxy-tungs mix. After this was dry I repeated the process with other cavity. The double pour resulted in a much smoother final finish on surface, and goal of enhancing perimeter weighting + increase in overall weight. The putter is much easier to maintain smooth putting stroke and also shortens stroke to reduce hitches. The last improvement came with 10gm weighting in shaft butt- improved distance control and really balanced overall feel.

I recently upgraded to an Auditor puller, may still be on sale at Golfsmith, very nice smooth puller with good tacky clamping mech. for shaft and preload to give release as soon as epoxy temp rises. Had a combo shaft extractor-gripping machine (gextr in Golfworks) that was adequate for hobbyist work, not large volume. Will also be selling for 1/2 price I paid for it.

    TM 200 steel "smoothie" 13 deg- Fuji TR 27.3-S 43 1/2 d-3 (head refinished in silver top w clear coat ceramic-face minor use-not a D model)

 How was the 27.3 set-up in your TM 200, s-w / tipping/ length-curious bout the amt of 27.3's being used in 200 3-woods. thx dl
  9. Curious on how this 10 deg would compare to my 9 deg- put in a Fuji to compare- played 9-holes, trajectory too high for me. Still looking to sell or trade ( lower lofted Nak ?) Lower price to $200 on head e-mail [email protected] (also same for pay-pal)
  10. Like many of the others, also had a problem that was relayed to Robbie and I was given an excuse (twice) re a Nak 420 driver made by T-T-Golf. I contacted Nak Co. and Scott Son asked me to write up the incident and send him the 420 head to examine, result was a head that exceeded the gm weight stated on head specs by 6gm's. Nak Corp sent me a replacement head (my fault that I asked for 10 deg to replace the 9 deg-sent back should have stayed with 9 deg)
  11. Have a new Nak 420 10 deg head coming- anyone interested at $225-250 range ?
  12. Bumping request- Any idea if shaft shorter than norm. or lie flatter ? (Guess same question for the J-spec Rescues) Is the club made of same material ? Any info out there thx dl
  13. The TM RAC J-Spec wedges w Nipon NS Pro 950 shafts-Anyone play these - Any info you can provide appreciated (searched found very little) .
  14. Have both S & X flex in pair of TM Tour 580's at 45 1/4in. Can't really tell that much of a difference in actual flex when using on course(neither tipped). Very smooth w mid-kick & tighter dispersion than Aldila NV-75 . One area that you should be aware of- shaft balance is tip heavy and will add 2-3 swing weights to your club very easily (D-6, D-7 on mine) , but I like heavy sw's on drivers. Used to play a GD YS-6 (sx) and would loose left very easily- These Tour Releases feel like YS-6 but go straighter :)
  15. I had the 320 Tour with a 335 tip, but also know it was made w a 350 tip hosel (many of the retail versions of the 320 tour had 350 tip). Guess you may have to pull to ck, but can use brass or spring shim on 335 shaft if you have 350 hosel. (p.s if club has ser# on hosel better chance of 350 size as most 335's had no ser#)
