Which Yamaha irons have you tried?? The V forged with Tour AD shafts are too soft for me awhile the Miura's with Nippon's were perfect feel and balance.

Miura Tournament blades W/ Nippon 1050gh
up for sale is a set of 4-pw Miura Tournament blades, the irons are shafted with Nippon 1050GH in S flex. The length for the irons are Miura standard and 2 degrees upright. These are the heavier iron head weight, 4-6i is d3 and 7-pw is at d4/5 ish, the winn pci TL grip on the irons are a bit heavier so they swing weight on the lighter side. Their is a custom grind on the sole to digg a little more but overall condition of the irons is at least a 8.5, their is hardly any bag chatter, always used with iron covers. Price for these bad boys, SOLD shipped ConUs. Please feel free to PM or email me at [email protected] with offers or questions about the irons.

2012 Yamaha V forged
Just received the irons this week and here is my assessment from the range today. The Yamaha's just scream quality and the milled x faced definitely gives the irons some character. Ball flight on the Yamaha's are mid to high and easy to control, mis**ts are crazy forgiving, the ball just goes even if you mis**t shots from the toe or heel. The Yamaha's are uberly soft compared to the Miuras, Yammie's feel like a soft marshmallow when struck perfectly, Miura's have more of a dense feeling and imo feel more solid, . I am more use to the Miura's denseness and will see how the Yamaha's softness compare after a few rounds. Overall, great set of irons and cant wait to try the irons on the course and will be back with more of an in depth review. Reply Quote Delete Edit

2012 Yamaha V forged
LOL, I just bought a Yammie set off of the BST from TSG to experiment, hopefully it works out!! I guess the worse thing that can happen is, I sell the Yammies to buy some OnOff irons if this experiment doesnt work out. Thank you TSG'ers for all your help.
