Less is More! Smaller Driver Heads
i am not trying to attack anyone, but just wanna put up a basic fact. Yes, big head has its commercial value, but even on the tour, most of the good players are using big heads. Maybe not 460 big, but at least 440 big. When i say most, means 9?%. So, big head helps a lot. Let not put it in the way that only average player needs big head. Its our ego to say small is better player, and we use small head, so we good. I am using blade. And I know that it is because I can handle it and I want to show off. In fact, cavity back helps a lot more, and will get me a better score.

Hi all, after reading the non confirming driver building post. I was thinking about a non confirming. Any trade off? it seems that those driver are very light, and nomally spin the ball like hell. Comparing to somthing like EMS + GD, what is possible distance gain? And trade off?

Please save me with my Egg Spoon 15
Yeah. Topping is the problem. I did 108holes in 5 days with only 2 swing of egg. Each was as bad as it can be. Haha. Then I stopped using it. I only carry one 15 egg as the only fw. Thus, very tough game in that 5days. Thank you so much to save me

Please save me with my Egg Spoon 15
Nothing was changed... I bought the spoon on this website, just the fubuki version. THat is why I am wondering so much. THe only change might be.... I got my Epon EMS with GD AI-6, SR, and Akira head with GD Hybrid, for driver and hybrid, almost the same time I got the Egg. I felt the driver and hybrid a bit heavier at that time. That might change my swing and hit the ball harder. Thus now my feeling on the Egg is that the Egg spoon might be a bit lighter...

Please save me with my Egg Spoon 15
I got the Fubuki Egg Spoon 15 two months ago. So nice. I hit it so far, and solid. THe sound is just great and with a nice high tune. It was a no brainer. I step up to the ball, and just swing as I like, the club will meet the ball somewhere... I was so happy... SOmehow, now, I am doomed. I just cannot use this club. Always hit it thin... One of the problems in my guess is that the club feels so much lighter than my other clubs.... So i might release the club head earlier... Can someone help me out?

Fast swinger needs less spin, for whatever launch Slow swinger needs higher launch whatever spin From recent Gd magazine Guess 17 will be good

Katana for slow swingers and oldies only?
get a egg spoon, your problem will be solved. I tried sword sniper once, just for fun. Seems to have really really high launch and really really high spin... The look is luxury. I prefer something else though

Epon AF tours vs the Gold's blades
Epon carved out some steel to put on the upper and lower portion of the club, and made a check in the middle. That is somewhat like a small cavity. Same design like the Mizuno mp 32. It helps the ball to take off and also give the club a better center of gravity. On gold's is a more traditional blades. AF tour is just good. Think about it, you have a blade, very soft, easy to use. Why heading for a more difficult blades? So many top tour guys are using cavity, so... I guess we play blades for the sake of play blades....

Epon prototypes on ebay
Well, there are some design elements in it though... I hate fakes, but fakes give me one more excuse when I cannot handle a club... Hahaha

BIG Debate going on over at GolfWRX about steel vs graphite in irons
All right, I am using a set of blades with steel shafts. They look cool. And that is the reason I choose them. Haha. Scientifically, if we look at the process of how shafts are made and how heads are made, we will find that cast is better than forge, graphite is better than steel. Steel shaft is made by two ways. One is make a chunk of steel with a hole in it, and then dragged to be a tube, and then put to stepped shape. The other one is fold a sheet to the shape. After that, heat treated. The process, just from reading it, is hard to control the exact shape, density in each area, etc etc. However, graphite shafts are made through a molding process with layers of carbon sheets, which were weaven into exact form, and then resin will be added with uniform pattern, etc. The process can be very fine tuned to control each spec. And tees, you can make identical graphite shafts. Samething come to forge and cast. Casting is a better controlled process. But anyway, I still prefer forged blades and steel shaft. Just like we prefer patek phillippe mechanic watch, although electronic ones are much more accurate.

NEW egg 17* spoon.,
I am among the poor crowd.

NEW egg 17* spoon.,
is 13 a little bit harder to manage, given much less spin? And also the spin will help the ball to keep up in the air. I am fine with 15 i guess, although i am hitting a 15 too high. The waiting time is just annoying, annoying annoying.... Any idea when the egg coupled with the fobuki?
-
NEW egg 17* spoon.,
I envy you so much. I ordered one as soon as it showed up here. But still waiting.... Are you planning to get one with smaller loft?
