  1. my reason was because i am recovering from several shoulder surgeries and wanted some distace without having to push too hard.
  2. Its getting warmer here in Indiana, will need this driver soon
  3. Ok so where these babbies at the fair?
  4. who knows, all I care about is that they are still making it. I was worried they would scrap it, as far as release well currently it's snowing in Indiana so I will just have to be patient for the next couple weeks.
  5. well they did that, and I paid for one, but the club has been delayed. Is it really going to happen?

So it says for my swing speed I should try a 6.9 is this accurate? I was thinking about puting it in a Ryoma hi cor, my epon AF102, or I have a couple tour heads that might work.

I am looking for a new shaft. My swing speed in playing conditions is 105 mph. And I am so confused by the descriptions, it almost sounds like my swing could appy to all of them. I want to play a strait ball with a slight draw, and a low boring flight. thanks, Rob
  10. I have them in play, and I think they are great shafts.
  11. I sent if for a quote on some epon AF tours in black with thumps or steel fiber for shafts and I am still waiting for a quote is this normal?

My gues is that most of your shots are off the toe, DO NOT be agraid to stand right over the ball. Set up really close to the ball, and at first try to draw the ball this will keep you from hitting hozzel rockets. Then I am almost positive you will find the sweet spot of this club, because thats what its all about, finding the COG. And what makes Epon different than most is the location of the COG.
  13. Ok I just saw the copper finish and it is very nice too. However I went to the black finish because I really need these heads 8 grams lighter, and the rumor was the black finish was 6 grams ligher. So Tourspecgolfer what say you! hook me up
  14. so what does the copper finish look like?
  15. Ok so I am going to buy some new AF Tour's with Black heads cant wait. However I am looking for the perfect shaft. I am 6-7 and play plus 1", and my driver playing SS is around 105-110. I have been playing steel fiber's but was thinking I would try the Diamana thumps, or Crazy shafts. Does anybody have any feed back on these shafts. I tried the Matrix program shafts, and to be honest the white just killed it for me. So any thoughts.
  16. I have them in chrome, and love them have the 302's in chrome love those to, but the black finish is soooooooo nice
  17. I was going to get another set of AF tours in black finish, is there anything else I should consider?
  18. Ok so I found out that Epon's black finish is 6 grams ligher is this true
  19. I would like a light set of irons because I play plus 1" Will epon make heads 8 grams light?
  20. ok i would love to try a crazy shaft but how do i try it? do you have demos if i agree to pay for the shaft?
  21. I have the AF Tour's and the Miura Baby Blades. The AF tour's I have shafted with Aerotech i110's and the Miura's I have Nippon Peening Reds. They both feel amazing, but the Epon's are more playable, and feel perfect. The Miura's to me always feel a little more crisp to me regardless of the shaft. I realize that I have steel fiber in the epon's, but they are softer. Before I decided on shafts, I shafted the 6i in both the Miura's and Epon's with different shafts. Nippon's are really smooth shafts, KBS were just not for me at all way too harsh for me, but the steel fiber were the best of both worlds. Now having said that I have a set of Monoco's in some Callaway Proto's and those are some amazing feeling shafts. To me KBS is not a good fit for such a soft feel in irons, the nippon's or the steel fiber are a better fit.
  22. I have been playing the Epon 302's and I just bought a set of AF tours. This way I can mix and match as I like. I also have two the epon AF 102 drivers one shafted with the TP7HD and the other with a Miyazaki 59X tour. I love the feel of the irons and the drivers are just so solid. Why is Epon so hard to get in the states, and why is it not promoted like Miura or some of the other JDM irons. Does Epon make irons for other US OEM's, and is there some sort of Non compete??
  23. Ok the Epon driver is a AF 102 sorry about that, but what ever the number is the feel is even better. The epon woods, have a beautiful shape, and the feel is perfect. I agree on the grinds, if I am going to play firm fairways I will bring my Proto's, because the epon's play a little too much bounce for the thickness but it is rare that our fairways in Indiana are firm.

I really wanted these wedges, but at the time I needed them NO ONE had them, so I settled for Kenmochi's. Love the Kenmochi's but they were a little hard to get use to, the 60* has onset and seeing my 60* shape a shot from right to left was well wierd at first. But tell me more about the 210's I might have to get a set. Has anybody hit both the kenmochi's and the epon's?
  25. Last year I was playing Miura 201's very nice set of irons. Once I really stated playing well I switched to Callaway Proto's, awsome set of irons, but then I got injured. I had full reconstructive elbow surgery and I thought after three months of rehab I was just going to be able to pick up my proto's and be right back in the 70's. Nope did'nt happen, so I wanted a soft JDM set of cavity backs and this is when I found Epon 302's. Because I loved the Endo feel of the callaway proto's I thought for sure the Epon's would be as good. The epon's are special, and for now I have Graphite Designs Tour AD shafts in them to protect my injuries. I really like these irons, but I got hooked on Epon, so I took the leap of faith and bought the AF 201 driver, and 3 wood. The driver and 3 wood are amazing. I would have bought the Epon wedges but I could not get them for a decent price so I settled for Kenmochi's. Loving my bag right now, and I just wanted to share with everybody that Epon is the Wood!! However I do not understand why Epon is so hard to find in the US, and everybody is still on the Miura band waggon. I liked the Miura's but feel the grinds on the Epon's are more suited to softer fairways. On firm fairways the Miura's really shine, but when they are wet get your shovels out.
