TM 13* 200 tour w/shaqx... scotty newport center proto beach
there have been a lot of talk on the boards of a verification of "trustworthy" memebers. Well I think we can all learn a lot from Cory here. I do not know him at all (hope to rectify that) but with these quality pics and they are obviously of his items... well I would have no problem buying either clubs!

OFFER! - READ!!
guess no one wants clubs. Just want to clear up this is a favour, and im not making money on it. but anyways! i thought it was a nice idea- evidently not.

Japanese R7 TP Pics
I would definitely say go up one full degree, if not 2. I play a 9.5* and had a 8.5* MARU and both launched higher than a 9.5* R7 that I hit.

OFFER! - READ!!
This goes out to all the UK and Ireland TSGers that see the R7 TP for $650 yet know we must still wait another month and pay $1100 for the pleasure. I know from personal experience how expensive things are on this side of the Pond. Scotty Cameron 303SS is $340 for me, Vokeys are $180, RAC LTs are $950... you get the point! Now here is what I propose - I am going to the States in 2 weeks. I am bringing my clubs and intend playing a lot, but also perhaps getting a R7 TP. I am willing to buy any TSGer any club (within reason) and bring it back with me. This means that the price will be probably 25% cheaper than our retail and we dont have to pay those dreaded customs fees! I am going to post this on the GO as well. I have friends on BSG but alas am not a member on there - pass on the word if you read this! Patrick

scratch wedges
I had Rifles in my Scratch and they were nice, but I got them refinished and put DG S-400s in them and I gotta say i prefer em.

Better sounding driver heads
well i did preface it by stating the different shafts but the retail is .350 tip and TP is .335" tip. I am not big up on sound/feel/shaft but I know the the TP felt like my E and the retail felt like a ERC (ie the original HiCor driver)

The new Tourstage FST+!! w/PICS
that is one amazing looking 3 wood. Got to say it looks better than my Sonartec (and thats hard)

Better sounding driver heads
I hit the R7 retail today and had just hit the TP yesterday. First off bear in mind that the TP had a 757 X in it with weights set 14 - 6 - 2 - 2. The Retail had stock shaft (felt ok ish) with weights 2 - 10 - 10 - 2. The retail felt a little more hollow (not horrible) but the sound was very loud and tinny. The TP was a different club in that respect BTW - didnt hit enough with either to judge performance

R7
I hit it today and I must say I like it :-O Its not the worst looking TM driver I have ever seen and it felt really solid. The one I hit had a 757 X in it at 44" D4 (perfect for me) and the weights were 14 - 6 - 2 - 2. I hit low draws (the draw I can understand) but I hit it considerably lower than my E. Just a few questions - I am going out to the States at the end of August. Where would be the best place to first demo a R7 and then hopefully buy one? What exactly is that weight config? 14-6-2-2 Patrick (TM driver)

Little Help
I am very happy with my bag - it took me a long while to get it just the way I want it but it works good. The make up is like this: Driver 9.5* - I am a good driver & a little short so I pretty much use this ever hole bar par 3s! 3 wood 14* - this has been relegated to a max of 4 shots a round now that I have got a driver I like. Super long and wind doesnt touch it 2 iron 19* - (MR-23 CB) has a really flat flight and I actually find its surprizing long, a disproportionate gap from 2 to 3 than from 3 to 4 etc. 3 iron 22* now we are talking accuracy over distance I am 100% happy with the lower end of my bag but I am stuck with one thing in the higher end. Distances are like this: Driver 265 3 wood 235 2 iron 225 3 iron 210 However all my clubs would be deemed "hard to hit" and are not the most versatile clubs out there. My problems is that I absolutely love the MR-23 CB - its so pure and hits on shot a flat flight. I can actually hit Tiger's stinger, a high fade, high draw - you name it! The only thing I cant do with it is ensure a quality strike from the light rough Obviously I cant expect to hit a 2 iron 230 from the heavy crap, but sitting down in the light rough is really killing me. Perhaps that is a tad melodramatic but I find its the only shot I can NOT hit. Do I hear a Rescue club calling? Yes - I have hit the TMs and Hogans and actually quite like the retail TM (TP felt weird to me) and Hogan is so solid (but I only hit the 5 iron replacement) However I need a low flat flight for the windy days in Lahinch. The TM tends to go a little high on me. I need suggestions!! Help me out

Help with a Three Wood!
well I think the best 3 wood money can buy is the Sonartec SS-03 and it just so happens that its deep faced & long. 970 Silver could also work but I would lean towards the Sonartec.

full tour issue r7 drivers with tour only shafts!
for sure - this post stinks. his "christmas wish list" hits it on the nail. Even Sergio would have a tough time getting all those drivers.... but then again - with an email addy like that how could he possibly be lying?! tmtourvan

Yes, I am advocating petty theft
Not long left now - should I bid?! :surprize: Lovely putter DM - I wish I could use it/afford it.

Best Looking Driver
thats the MARU on the left and J340 on the right? I really like that J340.

Best Looking Driver
I would rate the MARU up there and I still love the looks of my E (but thats personal/unbiased) But I have a new leader: Anyone recognise it?!

It really does. You actually have no idea :-) Today I called into that golf shop - they still had my old 983E! I had it custom ordered through titleist with a 661 and D4 44". i got it back!! paid €225 which is brilliant whereas the R510TP is €540. Only bad thing is there is a paint chip on the top near the DCI symbol.

My wedges were sent as a "gift" and I still got charged that $100 customs. Its totally messed up - Ari sent my wedges EMS which is 2-4 days. It took 2 full weeks and thats with both of us ringing up every day to check on them. I am sure if I didnt ring GLS that they would still be in customs! My parents are so pissed at me right now - I am screwed to say the least. I am thinking about just waiting unitl I get to the States to get a driver (27th) but thats my competitive golf for the season gone.

Rant
When it comes to club prices Ireland ranks up there with the worst of them! I just called my local shop (it happens to be one of the best in Ireland) and guess how much a 510TP is here? $640 and a pure retail R7 $650. My driver was lost on its way to me - a 983E that I knew I'd love. But now I have no driver, and if I want a good one, I am going to have to pay through the nose for one. I am not importing one again - my last 3 packages.... first had to pay $75 customs, next one was lost and finally had to pay $100 in customs. So I am decidedly not happy with life. I actually have no idea what I should do for a driver. I am not like most on here - do not hit the ball 320. I hit my driver 270 max and 3 wood about 245. I need a driver period. On top of all this - my competitive season has already started and its only going to keep running for another month. I dont have time to wait - I need a driver now. Oh smile on me golf gods!

Enter ZOMO!
I like the one near the bottom left - the Del Mar 3.5 type putter. but i would like to read a few reviews first.... expensive?

3 wood shaft advice
I had a 652 and 661 in my driver - they were ok nice. Got an 869 in my 3 wood and its amazing. Only shaft i have hit that stood leaps and bounds aheads of all others.
