It's real. I have one just like it. It's a Pro Plat Mil-Spec Newport. Where you run in to a lot of fakes is with "tour" putters and the older pre and early Titleist putters. You can pick up a Pro Plat Mil-Spec Newport on ebay for about $125.00-175.00 so you won't find someone doing fakes of the less expensive Camerons. They are sweet putters though. There was a survey done on this forum a few months ago where people rated their favorite series of Camerons on the Pro Plat series won! Enjoy your nice Scotty. Sixx

Bump, What is the size of this grip when installed. I don't mean the exact size, but if you could, what grip are the Iomics close to from a size and feel standpoint? My favorite grip for size is the Scotty studio grip w/ the dancing Cameron logo (red or black) with the classic PingMan grip coming in second. The work looks great but just a word of warning, Jim (custom club coatings) has had two putters of mine for the last three months..... He is a very nice guy and I can't wait to see his work, but from what I understand, he is very backed up. As soon as I get my putters back I'll post a review. Sixx

One questions; what is the difference in distance between your #4 hybrid and your 4 iron? I too carry a 3&4 hybrid but ditched the 4 iron. For me, the distance was close to the same, when I hit the 4 iron well. I was just way more consistent with the hybrid. That Scotty is SWEET!!! Great bag! Thanks for sharing. Sixx

I know that this is probably a dumb question, :D but can someone please explain the relationship/difference between Gauge USA and Gauge Japan? The putters look very similar and the logo is the same, but are they the same company? Just curious. Sixx

I compared your pics with the pics from the Taylor Made web site and I think you are OK! The giveaway for me was the cavity in the back of the driver for the "tuned weight port". If you look at the fake, it is not even close. Your driver looks identical to the one on the TM web site. Rest easy, but be careful in the future. Sixx

Put the bong down and look again. The new Comp head looks much better in black than the "grey battleship" of the existing 460. Also, the black color gives the visual effect of making the MASSIVE 460cc head look smaller. And the gold Fuji shaft that everybody whined about is now black also. The Cleveland head shape is one of the most subtle on the market and the new Comp doesn't change this basic shape. I can think of uglier drivers on the market. Just MHO!..... :tired: Sixx
