Well said Chris.....I can always count on a good tempered logical response from you. IMO Whitlam's stuff is not made with as much precision as Gauge Japan. Most stuff compared to anything Japanese is not made with as much precision now that I think of it. They take good things and make them better!!

If you guys check out the G-field coverage at the Tokyo show there are a few pics of the carry bags. They all have patent leather looking stuff on them. They look just like the older Gauge carry bags. Good looking stuff!!

Yes, but I also believe it is so Gauge Japan can market their stuff in the US without all of the confusion between THAT GUY and the REAL product.

Man those are PURTY!! I have always loved the custom Mizuno getup!! They do some really sick s**t to them babies.

The major difference that foam does for clubs is it mutes the sound of them. There are lots of beautiful golf clubs out there, but some of them are just straight up annoying when the ball comes off. As far as getting this done, maybe you should give Joe Kwok a PM and he can discuss a price. The ones that I have had done were no charge jobs by our club tech in Golf Galaxy. From what I have seen, it is fairly simple, but I am sure it only looks like that. I hope this helps a little.

IMHO the insert looks pretty cheesey. I also don't like the Pz on the toe. Less is more to me. It doesn't matter though....I still loves me some Gauge Design!!!!

Thanks!!! The only way I have seen to get a set of these is keep an eye out on Ebay and the BST forums here and golf wrx. They usually go for $500-$700 depending on the condition. You just might get lucky. I got my set from a close friend for a very small amount of money. (Thanks Rich) I got my wedges from dcc14 (Dave) on here for $135 a wedge. It has literally taken me 3 years to get my bag set to where I am comfortable with all of my clubs. I am going to really put all of this to the test in the next couple of weeks while I play Carnoustie and the St. Andrews courses. I can't wait to shred the ball once more with my Gauge beauties!!!!
