  6. hehe yep that was me :) may have been a slight overpay for head only, no headcover, and its condition...but i've wanted a burning copper anser for a little while now.
  7. Any idea what the hosel size is on the yamada heritage putter is? Don't know much about putter shafts but was thinking of putting a Nippon 149g shaft in there. Do you guys have favorites or know of a nice pairing for this particular putter?
  8. Golf Effort has all the nice brands. There are a few shops around Tokyo. Quite expensive, even for the used gear. Festival is another.
  9. the 15 and 16.5 have the same size head, just different lofts?
  10. i like the anser style putters. i've seen some for sale on the bay and jp yahoo auctions but i keep missing them.
  11. thanks for the review. been waiting for these to funnel in. did you own any of the previous spoons? if so, how do they compare? i have the 3w and 5w from the 2nd generation. i'd like to get a 4w in my bag to replace these two since i don't hit fw woods all that often anyway. was considering getting the 16.5* version of this. i have a qfex fw shaft sitting at home waiting to get shafted into something.

  14. just came back recently from tokyo and there are a lot of golf partner stores all around the city. festival golf and golf effort are also great. they all carry epon but it's a crapshoot what you actually get in the store. the festival golf in ueno is pretty big and they had some great stuff, as did the two festival golfs in shinjuku, a couple blocks away from each other.

  16. Currently in Tokyo and I've hit up a ton of golf shops and I can't find this shaft anywhere. Was hoping I'd be able to pick one up for cheaper here because it's an older shaft. Planning on putting it in a Ryoma Premia and I'd like it to play 45".
  17. Hey guys, I'm going to Tokyo next month for some work-related activities, as well as a mini vacation with the wifey. I've been to Tokyo many times in the past, but wasn't an avid golfer until the last couple of years. Can you guys recommend any good golf shops I should check out? A few years ago, I had an apartment out there and it was a block from a place called Golf Partner near Tameike-Sanno station. I never wandered in there, but I at least know of that place. A couple online searches pointed me to some place called Festival in Ueno and Victoria has stores around the city. I'm more interested in looking at used gear, however. Thanks in advance!
