i cant access crazy 7.7 will love to try it. the crazy that in my hand was the first batch that being sent and didnt have any success on the sales. thats why its still got the old version black 40 not 46. from 3 models cb40 6.9 ,cb50 6.9 and cb80 7.4 i've got the best results and i really like the feel of cb 40. will hit it again next 2 weeks on another measuring machine, and will record the data.

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
hi budi, nice to chat with u again, i found my shaft at last....:) u were right, we just swing and adjust our tempo sometimes according to the shaft flex, we can feel the head is behind or not, that we just increase or decrease our tempo... i even still had a mac tag nvg2 10 degree, r flex , j spec, that have 199cpm. i still hit very good, far and easy with this one, ( because of its hi corr) but the head feels very harrrd compare to ryoma...:)

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
GDDI : Mid / high flight, if you can get the right flex, will be a medium smooth shaft, the tip is slightly firm, the but section is flex. Attas : Mid / high flight, the whole shaft perform more stout than DI. Crazy 40 : mid flight, low spin, very good kick, very easy to load ( we have same feeling with this shaft ) the head feels faster to square, it feels like an iron in my hand. but its intimate me to hit it harder, because i feel like i can control it. GD DI is a very good shaft but for some people who didnt have a swing that thru the ball when contact, will get some issue with this shaft. this people normally hit down at impact and creating a lot of spins on the ball or they lift the ball up on the impact. then it will make the ball balooning at the flight. people have an extreme feeling with this shaft, either they love it, or they hate it so much.... i play this shaft a year ago, but its just getting the respect this year after tiger plays it, until other forum name it shaft of the year for 2011. i personally like this shaft since i more swings thru it not jump on it. Crazy shaft just a whole different shaft compare those 2, it just give u a different way on playing ur golf game, its agresive, confidence way. it just change the way i play without i realizing it. when i grip it, feels it, i just have a confidence feeling that the club head will not be left behind. so i just smash it. i consider my self to be a swinger yet when i play with this shaft i naturally change my swing style become more of a hitter. the hard thing will be choosing the right crazy model and flex. they have many model and it just make me confuse...especially alot of the review in japanese. i think gocchin is the among the person who know this shaft very well. Attas, i havent really "connect" with this shaft, test them every now and then , on ryoma head, on R9 head, still havent understand what the engeneer want me to experience on this shaft, so i better not talk about this shaft to much. i think if the above brand is your choices, it will be very easy for you to decide. if u want to more swing your driver away, then i think GD its the one but if u like to experience the "kick" in the teebox, then crazy will be the one, just finding the right model for you.

i cant even hit the 7.4 on the black 80.let alone 7.7. its very hard to lag the club and very hard to square. from 10 shots i can make 3 good one but the rest will be everywhere. with crazy, one thing that i notice, like gochhin always said, we need to lower our flex. i said we need to lower our spec from whats their stated. the chart that u saw, i use kaili 6 S, 46, 255cpm with d1 10.5 did you play crazy? which model and which flex?

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
ha..ha..ha...i believe, if u dig deeper, u will find a TSG member that had ryoma and live in ur area, i bet they will be happy to let u try it... i've been playing golf for 16 years now, been lucky to get my hands alot of clubs to test and tried them.... not to encourage you but ryoma heads is very-very forgiving.... so forgiving that i miss to draw or fade the ball to the course fairways. i miss that shot.

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
like i said erlier, i test all those shafts not on a same day, and not on a same fitness and different tracking equipment. i dont think its fair for me to charting it, but i do remember all the shafts feels and perform, i can let u know how its feels and perform compare to ur current shaft or gamer if u tell me how ur current gamer performs...so it will give u idea or reference on shafting ur ryoma what is ur current gamer? u know the specs? like total wight, swing wight, cpm?

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
ha..ha..ha..i always wanted to play stiffer shafts(its makes us feel like a real man) but have to accept the fact that i cant and its ruin my tempo.... for ex, i cant even hit the crazy 80 / 7.4 S , the one in the pics...Way to stiff for me, the 6.9, will best, and the farthest one, but i need to be at my top perform, theres no way , if im teeing early in the morning at 5.30am , i can pull it and hit it... therefore if 6.2 will be best for that, and like gocchin said, always play one flex lower with crazy shaft. what is ur swing speed number ECA?

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
the reason why i didnt say anything about the results on each shaft because i didnt keep all the data. :( i do have several of them, because i test it on different place, different software, and different balls and different fitness....(spread in 3 months period) without data, i better not say anything, eventgh i do remember exactly the experience,(like with our girlfriendss) i post some data from matrix pro fitting report. i took some camera shot on trackman and others but i have to dig deep... the first run using kaili 6S, 46, 255cpm with d1 10.5 the second run using tphd5 S+, 45,25, 266cpm the yellow line is the results of the each run, for me both of the results is very wild, kaili feels like noodles...also the matrix didnt show a consistent results either...

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
i've been testing shafts for my ryomas for this past 3 months. at the beginning try to find "the" shaft. Then i realize there is no "the" shaft, but only "the shaftsss"........... some of the good shaft really give a different feel and form to play, and it will be fun to have it depends on the day, the course and of course the buddies.... those shafts that i didint pick not because that its not good enough, but it just didnt suit my swing style and since ryoma tip insert its higher than some of the other driver heads, it's just not easy to find the shaft that i want.(without front tip them) got all 3 ryoma heads 1.> 10,5 ryoma premia 201g, 0.5 closed 2.> 10,5 ryoma d1 198g, 0.5 closed 3.> 9,5 ryoma v spec 198g, square this is some of the list of the shaft that i've been testing 1.> matrix tphd 5 2.> matrix fm2 3.> matrix reign 4.> Diamana Kaili 5.> Diamana Ahina 6.> Basara Griffin 7.> Claymore 8.> Graphite Design GD DI 9.> Graphite Design GD DJ 10.> Crazy Black 40 11.> Crazy Black 50 12.> Crazy Black 80 13.> UST mamiya attas 1 14.> UST mamiya attas 2 15.> UST mamiya attas 3 16.> Matrix irudda 17.> matrix Radix 17.> i may add more as i forget some of them... Some of the shaft been fit on and off and on again for more than 3 times on the same head! its a very tiring 3 months also very enjoyable months at the same time. and boy, when u about to try it with the new shaft.....the heart beat pounds like thuff...thuff..thufff...... we end up putting the gd di 5R on ryoma premia with 1" front tip and butt extention for wight purpose with 45.5 length, 315 tw, 225 cpm, d2 ryoma v spec with crazy 40 sr 6.9 LS 45.5 , period...! and havent decide for the d1 at the moment i'm resting and enjoying my golf game, but i know the quest hasnt over yet. those sleepless nights...........
