The price beak down goes like this. 170 euros for the shafts. Shipping to the EU: 20 euros US 32 euros and oz, according to reapl who just sent a set from Germany (probably the same from here), 40 euros.

I was going to keep these orange as back up as they've stopped making them, but might as well let them go. With it a rare Nippon double bender putter shaft with zero offset. They had originally made these for an OEM putter brand, but the brand ended up by going for the cheaper TT instead. New, uncut, 3-P Stiff nippon super peening orange. 255 USD shipped to the US ( a bit less for the EU, a bit more for OZ) gifted or plus fees.
  5. Those must be sooo soft!
  6. What shaft do you have on yours? I have the ss for it but wouldn't dream of sticking a low launch low spin shaft on it unless I really want to ruin my back for good.
  7. I'd like to see trackmaster numbers for not only the same shaft, but a swing speed average of +105. +105 and a good swing. Only then will I have a proper idea.
  8. Haha! I meant zero.
  9. If I recall correctly, the zen is for swings 105 and up (the pro shop was pretty clear about that) Those swing speeds are no more than 100.
  10. Either way it doesn't really matter. Questioning the numbers is pointless. My bad for getting involved in the first place. Shame the topic involves a member directly because the subject is interesting. If those are the numbers, there they are, who am I to question them. But lets take Mr D, out of the equation for a second. I guess I'm just naive enough to believe one needs proper ball compression, as in hit down on the ball and squeeze the life out of it, to get very good distance with iron. I tend to believe, rightfully so or not, that distance with a driver and an iron are 2 completely different things. Distance with a driver is one thing. To maximize length the ball needs to be stricken on the way up, an iron, on the way down or at least level. And in both cases have a delayed release. Especially with an iron as it not only adds power but delofts the head at impact and adds compression. So basically, can we get similar distances by sweeping an iron the way we sweep a driver?
  11. The height changes, not the length.
  12. Yes, the release. And that's not something I saw in the video. If anything his release is early, losing power and adding loft. One can hit the ball first, deloft at impact...that's why players like garcia hits his 9 iron so far. At impact it's more of a 7 iron than a 9 iron and that release is very very late.
  13. I'm not trying to be a hater here and i'm certainly not the envious type. Chromikey, I don't want to get into it with you because I hear you're a really nice guy, and it's not my goal. I'm not criticizing D, his swing or anything. I'm just being realistic, that's all. It's possible he does have one of those superman swings. But they're so rare and numbers are inflated so often (by fitters) that skepticism creeps in rapidly. As for your "things happen" comment. Yes, they do. But we're talking power and perfect technique numbers. I dunno. Hey, I could be way off and sincerely hope those numbers are true and i'm forced to eat my poisonous wrx words.
  14. I never for a second doubted Mr D's honesty. I just think that like many others out there he dealt with a slightly dishonest fitter. If you hit 240 yard 6 irons, you hit 400 yard drives. And you're pretty much aware of the fact that you hit your irons ridiculously long. No need for a fitter to tell you. Basically go to the range, take out a 6 and land almost at the end. That's all. Or better Mr D, next time you're on the course and have a 240 yard shot to the green, take out your 6 iron. I don't doubt for a second that he's very long. I'm certain he is. But long drive champion long is another thing. Golf is not just power but technique. And it's hard as hell. Technique needs to be bang on. That delayed lag has to be there, the open hips at impact, th follow through...check out a photo break down of their swing and tell me it's not the most amazing mechanics you've ever seen.
  15. So go to wrx! Am I supposed to be a yes man? If one doesn't want stranger's opinions, don't post. Not commenting on bst prices, ok, I agree with that to a certain extent, but if I find something funny, I'm going to laugh. Or should I do it by pm like everybody else has been doing for the past couple of days? If hypocrisy is the norm, I'd like to be informed please.
  16. The length stays the same, but it being upright will make it feel longer at address, yes. But if more upright isn't what's good for you, it defeats the purpose. You'll only be fixing one problem by adding another. Lie is extremely important, more so than length. Your main goal is to hit the ball with a square club face.
  17. Check your watsup, I have something nice you might want to swap for something...erm... even nicer hopefully!

Make Martin play one, i'll give him a deal.
  19. If like you say your technique isn't flawless like I assumed, there's something dodgy with the numbers. Not trying to bash, just being realistic, but 265 with 6 irons...technique needs be bang on. And 400 yards with a driver should be your average length. Because let's face it, 265 is 265...220 is already insane enough as it is. And considering the club wasn't at your specs... That said, I don't doubt you're ridiculously long, but superman long, maybe not. Nice dunk by the way! Should have asked him to stand under the rim and tea bagged the poor crotch grabbing fella!
  20. I'm hopelessly trying to decipher what you just wrote. No luck. Haha!
  21. I know! I wanted that yam 14 of yours. Mine is getting old, I want a new one.
  22. Potuna should be getting his shortly. Curious to know what he thinks of them. I've grown a bit tired of the 120s. 130s were on the high side, something I avoid considering where I play there tends to be quite a bit of wind (that seems to follow me head on from hole to hole). So back to the old sp blues and s300s for me. I still think s300/x100s are one hell of a performing shaft though.
  23. My favorite 3w shaft. Performance and ease. Same as chromikey, no head for it.
