  1. i have a kamui works ray hi-cor with a square face 9*. awesome driver but i'm doing tourneys now and can't game it. played less than 10 rounds!!
  2. got this from nudgegolf and whoever pulled the shaft used too much heat and blistered the paint near the hosel. i had my buddy do his thing and i think this is how the 435 should have come from the factory!
  3. if someone jumps on this before weekend's end i'll throw in a lightly used top of the line red cabretta or blue kangaroo gripmaster grip to sweeten the deal!
  4. i've learned everything i know from those dashing young chaps tsupo and spoon!
  5. good luck...unless he likes x flex. been keeping my eyes open for s flex 8iron shafts for a couple of wedges and haven't seen any type of monacos except x in months.
  6. lol, funny you mention the headcover...it's my favorite so far.
  7. hmm...i may have just figured out a way to test jdm without buying everything first! anyone else want a custom painted driver????
  8. c'mon, i gotta pay for new stuff guys...second price drop. somebody has to still appreciate top shelf 5w's for dirt cheap!!??
  9. i'm sure you wouldn't mind if i took it out for a round or two before tommy sends it back would you? lol ;-p
  10. the ly-02 is meant to be played at 46" or more so i think he's at a good starting place. besides, it's always easier to make it shorter than longer after it's built.
  11. if you prefer soft and spongy you probably won't like any leather grips. they're soft to the touch but there's not any cushion underneath. stick with winn excel. they may wear out quickly but at $5 per grip who cares.
  12. THAT may be the most honest and profound bit of advice i've heard on a golf forum. sometimes you just gotta find out for yourself.
  13. yeah, i actually wish i had opted for the simulated red insert on my ryoma. go for it!!!
  14. his prices vary. more simple matte finishes can be had for under $100. his matte wood grains (which looked WAY better than i expected) are $100 and a little more if you prefer the high gloss finish.
  15. good choice, that's actually my favorite one. with the simulated red face insert it reminds me of the old ping limited edition blondes. the pics don't even come close to showcasing it's depth, it really is a beauty!
  16. he's done several of my drivers with my ryoma in the black wood grain and it looks sick! i'm pretty sure cost is under $100 but i'm not positive. i'll be picking up one of my 435's tomorrow that he's doing in matte black so i'll ask him and report back.
  17. contact my buddy tommy! http://www.customgolfclubpainting.com/
  18. i know hybrid is the trend right now but i'm not a big fan. oh well...the search continues.
  19. still wondering why the tour select doesn't come in any loft except 14*. silly not to offer a complimenting 5w...
  20. lol, i was going to recommend that head to you but saw that it was sold and figured it was too late! glad it was you! take a look at spoon's bst ad for the crazy ly-02 la bomba. it will be the perfect soft feeling draw biased shaft for that head...and it's a bargain at that price!
  21. trade me 5w's and you can donate the jbeam instead... ;)
  22. bst is broken so let's try a price drop. ;)
  23. trade me 5w's...my jbeam already has one of your favorite shafts installed!
  24. it's not for everyone. you'll do just fine with a yami! ;)
