Arigato. Im still watching a few ViQ putters on the bay. The Ebay seller, "ushop" has quite a few that are priced decently. I may pick one up just to satisfy my curiosity. I really like my Odyssey but Id love to be gaming a JDM putter.

Good to know. My White Ice is much firmer but I think thats because Odyssey has done a lot of work to get that firmer feel.

I actually used to kind of be an Odyssey hater (owned a White Hot XG Teron a few years ago and hated the mushy feel) but when shopping for a new putter lately I started to notice that a lot of people who arent Callaway staffers use Odysseys and figured maybe I was missing something. It kind of makes me wonder if maybe that Odyssey I bought before and found to be mushy was a fake because Im loving my White Ice D.A.R.T. blade.

Is it just me or does it seem like most of the Japanese pros prefer Odyssey putters? It seems like every time I see a, "whats in the bag?" for a Japanese player they list an Odyssey putter. Nothing that theres anything wrong with Odyssey. I current bag one and its a great little flatstick.

annnnnd update again. Walked into the golf shop with every intention of leaving with a 2-Ball but ended up loving the D.A.R.T. so much that I pulled the trigger on that.

Hey, a little update. I decided to pull the trigger on an Odyssey 2-Ball Blade. I love a blade but want something a bit more forgiving and with a higher MOI but really couldnt stand to look down at a huge mallet putter. Also, I tried a few putters that were a very similar shape the the ViQ and wanst crazy about them, so I bought the 2-Ball. Considering the lack of responses, Im guessing there isnt a whole lot of love out there for the ViQ anyways.

Whats the verdict on these putters? My MP Craft is up for sale on Ebay and for now Im going to be using an old Bridgestone E-01 (basically a Bullseye clone) for now but am considering picking up a ViQ sometime later this year from the TSG store.

Probably your best bet, other than maybe finding a set of Ebay (unlikely, IMO) is to buy a set off of Tourspecgolf.

Some people just dont like the more swept-back heads of 460cc drivers. I like the looks of 440cc drivers too but need the margin for error of a 460cc.

Sexy! Not that Id expect anything less from a set of custom Mizunos. The only problem is Id be afraid to use those clubs for fear of scratching the finish and dinging them up.

Mizuno's MP drivers are 440cc as well.

Id suggest checking Ebay. You can sometimes find persimmon woods on there, even Japanese brands like Mizuno.

Not sure about him but my main dislike with Bridgestone/Tourstage is that their irons simply dont feel soft enough for me. Ive played mostly Mizuno irons and am used to that, "buttery soft" feel and found Bstone to be a firmer feel. The clubs performed fine, I simply didnt like the feel at impact.

Theres a beer thats made where Im from called, "Spotted Cow". It has a fairly light flavor and is just so smooth. The only problem is, its only available in Wisconsin. I sure wish that the New Glarus Brewing Company would start shipping beer all over the U.S. but it hasnt happened yet.

Bingo! A better player's miss is a hook and an open-faced driver helps to eliminate that.

Endo doesnt do Mizuno's forgings, do they? I recall seeing a Youtube video from Mizuno where they claimed that the company who does their forging for them makes clubs only for them, in addition to making parts for high-speed rail.

Ive owned or tried out just about every iron that Mizuno has made in the past 10 years and, at least as compared to the Endo forged Bridgestone/Precept/Tourstage irons that Ive hit, the Mizunos are softer by comparison. There isnt a huge difference but there is a difference. In comparison though, Id say the Endo forged irons are of a higher quality because its not at all uncommon for the swingweights as well as loft/lie of brand new Mizunos to be slightly off. I know a lot of people who needed to have their new Mizunos adjusted slightly.

Yeah, I wasnt a fan either. To me it just had no feel.

Maybe a Red-X. I had one thought and wasnt impressed with it. Cameron seems to favor toe hang or 1/4 hang putters. IMO, Id look at Odyssey, Ping or even Cleveland/Never Compromise. Camerons are sooooo overpriced.

Id love to have a new set of Tourstage clubs and a Tourstage staff bag but my girlfriend would probably kill me if I told her that I spend $4000 on a new set of clubs. Someday but until then Im happy with my Tourstage deals that I find on Ebay and my Precept irons. Actually thinking about pulling the trigger on buying a used Bstone J38 driver that I found at the local Golfsmith. Could probably trade my Mizuno driver and my Mizuno MP-52/MP-62 combo set for them and still have money left over.

Its just like it is in the US where the big boys get all the love and the smaller companies get market down for no good reason. Id take it as a grain of salt. Its just a magazine editor's opinion. Nothing more.

True but not everyone can afford to spend $1500+ on a set of new JDM irons.
