FW: Crazy LY 01 Evolution vs TRPX Messenger
warrenhk replied to Shankopotamus's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I have ly01 fw 6.4 on 3w syard xv and fw80 6.4 on ryoma f3, fw80 more stable, distance wise, ly01 is tad longer, can't go wrong with both but I'd go with fw80 for the tighter dispersement ... Also have ly01 6.4 on my ryoma F7, holds up pretty well. Sorry no exp with trpx. -
This is my backup of a backup, 5-PW w/ Quadra 4AX 852i (SR) Super feeling and smooth irons, 5i plays 38in Asking 650 + shipping Thanks for looking

i have a 9.5 ST shafted with Crazy Proto 513 SR, this setup will stay with me until I die. If you don't mind playing with a non conforming club, this an amazing club. there's a Maxima ST listed in TSG ebay sale.

Stock fubuki k50 shaft, plays 45.5inch in SR. Very easy and straight, but not liking the muted sound. Looking for $425 net to me, include original HC and wrench. Thanks for looking.

IMO, best FW out there, this head/shaft combo should be amazing! glws

Golf in HK?
warrenhk replied to tomcat's topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear
Besides hkgc, there're Clearwater bay and discovery bay. Both permit non members during weekdays only, green fees about $200. Only public course is at sai Kung (1hr drive), but you need register online first and I think you can book 7 days in advance. It's a great course with awesome views. Let me know if you have any questions -
Sold, pending exchange. Pretty sure I'll be regretting this.

R, I think cb46 6.2 is stiffer than LY01 6.4, it's definitely an anti left shaft.

Didn't think I'll ever depart of this driver, but believe it or not the XXIO8 kicked this amazing club out of my bag! Excellent conditions as seen in the photos, plays 45inches Asking $700, lost original HC but can throw in my HC on my Ryoma ST (definitely won't be selling!)

Sold, thank you

playing/played with epon 208&210, crazy proto, prgr nabla, titleist forged... i think the crazy has the best feel. prgr super easy out of bunkers, preferred 208 over 210, more spin and control. could also be the shafts... have diff shafts on these clubs.

i have the GD AD 85 S on epon 502 and Quadra 852i SR on onoff forged, i know these are diff heads but here are my impressions... Quadra shafts are very smooth and higher ball flight, very easy on the arms (I have tennis elbow). GD tighter dispersement and longer. I had the AD 65 on my epon 701, but thought they were too light and was over swinging. hope this helps

my 2 cents, I play with Ryoma F3, F5, F7 and F9, light and super easy, hollow feeling and twing sounding. Epon 202HT and 202 5W, heavier head and you can feel the head, nice high ball flight, less forgiving than Ryoma. Crazy CRZ 3 and 5 FW, best feeling and sounding of the three, but less forgiving than Ryoma and Epon. Egg V2, just couldn't get use the swish sound... my go to club is the Ryoma 5w with FE.
