Need help-Yamada putter
So I have spent the last few weeks rolling this on my indoor putting green (weather is prohibitive here at this point). I really like the feel of this putter. I don't know if it is the materials, style/design, or putter maker, but this is quickly becoming my favorite. I have never played a blade/anser style before, and am enjoying it so far. The real test will obviously be out on the course this spring where the Yamada and Lajosi, both very different style putters, will be competing for the starting spot in the bag. I also like the handmade look of this putter. I tend to prefer the slight imperfections of a handmade putter to the perfect lines of the Scotty Camerons, Golds, etc. They are all obviously great putter makers, but this seems to appeal to me more. Would love to see pictures of any else's Yamada putters. I did contact John Muir to see if I could get a 85029 or another Musashi as a backup, and he said that the only left handed putters he is making at this point are center shafted ones. I guess I got one of the last ones.

Putting stroke trainers..
Looks alittle too confining. This stroke may work on short putts, but I find it hard to believe that you could stick with this method on longer putts; not even sure you would want to. I think you will end up having two different putting strokes between short and long putts which could eventually lead to other problems. If your stroke is way too, in out in, then maybe this can help. Curious to see what you think of it when you get it. I have been using the CS2 putting trainer this winter and it works pretty well. It has a cheap look and feel to it, but does what it is supposed to do. The nice thing is you can adjust the gates to allow for a slight inside arc, if you desire. I believe that my putting stroke is alittle more consistent after using this for a few months. What I learned immediately, was that my putter was going outside as I pulled it back, as I kept hitting the gate on the outside by the toe of the putter. This device was helpful in correcting that.

Just got it. Beautiful. Looks like there are a few old fingerprints that have tarnished the finish just a little bit. Is there a way to clean these old fingerprints without damaging the finish? Very happy with it as it is, but if I can clean it up without damaging the finish, it would look brand new.

Need help-Yamada putter
He put it in the mail tonight. I should have it by the end of the week. He apparently bought this last year new, and never took it outside. Rolled it on the carpet indoors, but never more than that. I have to say that I am very excited about having stumbled across this, as I had pretty much given up on ever owning this model putter in burning copper finish. I will post pics when I get it. Hopefully, this is legitimate.

Yeah, it's almost too good to be true. But the pictures really look authentic. He has very good feedback on eBay (apex430), and has sold a bunch of lefty gear over the years. Finish and stamping look exactly like other pictures of this putter.. I will see if he has name of rep. he got it from. Since, as a lefty, this is like finding a unicorn, I may just buy it, and if it is fake, deal with Payapl. Will send post pictures when I get it.

Looking to buy a Yamada putter on the BST at GolfWRX from a guy with what looks like a decent reputation on eBay. It is a left Yamada Musashi in burning copper that he said he bought last year in Singapore from a Yamada rep. Pictures look legitimate, but I didn't even know if Yamada made the Musashi in left handed, as I have never seen one before. He wants $550, and I am going to buy it unless someone chimes in and tells me that this has to be a fake, as they didn't make it in left handed a year ago. Thanks

Is there too much good stuff out there?
That's why I have chosen a few drivers that perform very differently. I have the Ryoma for when my swing is not very consistent and I need a little more forgiveness. The Crazy 435 comes out when I am really hitting the driver consistently and feel confident on the tee. Needless to say, the Crazy 435 hasn't been out on the course very much in the past 2 years.
