Received the Waccine GR 77 FW shaft for my Epon 203, and found the attached tags on the butt end of this shaft. Surprised to see Fujikura Composites on it. Anybody know what the relationship between these two companies? Is Waccine a premium brand under Fujikura or does Fujikura make these shafts for Waccine?

Haven't hit the Glorious yet, but 535 is much easier to launch compared to trpx heads. I played the D-013 last summer. It would roll infinitely on a true links course while the 535 which I play now carries 99% of the distance. I also feel that the 1st messenger is quite a low launch shaft too.

TRPX is gone.

Both are great drivers and perform quite differently. TRPX provides tons of rolls while the 535w/ LS 80 gives me 250+ carry. Somehow I feel a lot more confident with my old Adams driver. Maybe I am too familiar with it and know exactly where my ball will land for a bad shot.

Yeah, I guess the head names should be consistent with their shaft names http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/new-roddio-m-series-s-series-shafts/ I recently got a set of i-9 series to be installed in copper 302s. Don't know how they perform yet, but the red+blue+sliver color looks really gorgeous.

TRPX is for sale again

If the innovations from the US equipment don't really provide you any improvement, would you still call them innovation? When Titleist 913s hit the market two years ago, they were introduced with "new technologies" that would provide more distance, as all other companies always do. But if you spend a few minutes watching some of the tests results, you would find that, ironically, 910s may give you some more distance if not the same.

The TRPX is off the market. Played a round today and gave her the last shot. Surprisingly, it overdrove my current driver for more than 20 yards 60% of the time. I don't know what happened with my previous rounds with it. Maybe I should blame my swing more than the golf clubs in the future.
