  1. any idea about the approximate price of these clubs? also, can they be puchased heads only?
  2. crazygolfer, it's tough to find being a tour proto. 78 grams is actually light for me, but this thing felt great. same specs as a 757 or 771ta, but absolutely nothing like those. really a tremendous feel and performance for a hitter that goes hard from the top ... no boardiness whatsoever.
  3. Ari, It's one of the blue protos that came out a year or so I guess. First time I ever saw or hit it. It's 78 grams, 2.5* torque, high quick. Very robust, but smooth feeling ... explosive kick thought the ball ... penetrating (but not low) trajectory with very tight dispersion. performs like a shaft that should feel like a pipe, but it's very lively. very first hit wowed me ... and i rarely feel that way about anything. Absolutely no hint of any ballooning.
  4. Thanks, Ari. Have you ever hit the Fuji Blue Proto 7FTB? ... Joe and I were out at the range today hitting that one and I thought it was absolutely awesome.
  5. what do you like for 112-115, pretty smooth tempo, noticeably high flight ... i did the fitting it and it came out 7572H ... i like plenty of weight (currently play a pro95x)??
  6. ... played metro for the first time in awhile this afternoon. there was virtually no roll and the course played long. i hit a few bad shots, but nothing terrible. all in all, it was a very good ball-striking round. finished with 72 ... only 2 birdies ... bogies on 3 and 6. played the srixon zr-s for the first time ... it marks up, but is really good in the wind and feels decent off the putter. thanks for the feedback. we'll have to get out again. mike
  7. So, you have the straight up 1150's, which you'd rate as equivalent to the soft-stepped x-1's? Do, they feel a ton lighter? Do they swingweight the same or lighter? Lots of help, yes ... and great avatar ... one of the favorites i've seen.
  8. Ok here is the exact deal on these, Zodia, will not sell this product to distributors or shops in Japan, In order to get one you must buy it from Zodia Japan direct who will charge you 29,400yen +5% +Shipping...EACH. FYI they dont ship outside of Japan  To translate, the company alone wants to make the difference between cost and retail price. yo comprendo ... too bad ... those are some handsome wedges.
  9. that's good to hear. would he 1150's offer a similar ballflight to the dg? what is the flex profile of the 1150, e.g. with dg's they are softer in the butt and stiffer in the tip vs. rifle with stiffer butt and softer tip? would the straight 1150x approximate the dgx with soft-step, i.e. 1/4 flex softer ... or are hey more like a 1/2 flex softer?
  10. i've been a soft-stepped x-100 (irons) guy for sometime now. i was reading the thread about the nippon 1150 shafts and they peaked my interest. i like the consistency/flat trajectory of the x-100, but am thinking about a softer feeling/more lively/easier to load option (i.e. stiff playing, but smoother feeling). would the 1150x (perhaps soft-stepped) give me what i desire? high hitter, 115 ss w/driver, 0 index. advice appreciated ...
  11. what does "it's not a confirmed product" mean? why would zodia publish pictures, spec details, etc. if it wasn't?
  12. nice, very nice ... what are the specs and price on these wedges. the grind looks a lot like the km tours ... true?
  13. Thanks for the info guys. That Diamana Stringer is a pretty nice stock shaft offering, huh? I assume specs pretty similar to the 73ct ... how much does a set-up like that run?
  14. ... looks like tourstage with the 405 (and new j33r for that matter) has gone the taylormade route with a flat face with very little bulge and roll, unlike their former designs. would you guys say this is true or a picture-based illusion? what is the difference between the diamana stinger and the regular diamana 63/73/83 etc.? thanks.

105-110 and you're hitting the m5 ... or is it the m4? any comparisons of this one with a d03, also a very stiff (but non-boardy) 1.5 torque shaft?
