  1. Welcome Tiptx4! You will not find a more knowledegable fitter than Tario (who continues to help me with my new JDM addiction). Congrats on your Ryoma and whenever you get an itch to play and want to fly out to Northern California, hit me up :)
  2. Thanks. OK, going to think about it. Good luck with the sale either way.
  3. Do you know the CPM of the shaft? Does this play towards more of a stiff or regular (I game a LY01 6.9).

Oh, sorry, misread the thread. F3 isn't for sale, sorry :(

Ryoma D-1 F3! Super shallow, forgiving and long.
  6. The Crazy UT head is awesome. I think the RomaRo Type-R Ut is a little more forgiving, but coupled with the Crazy Black Utility Shaft, it keeps the ball flight down to something more medium I would say, so the 21* works well with it.
  7. Thanks hutchy!!!
  8. VERY Nice bags everyone... Love the Zeal, DWD & Crazy
  9. Whoever got the remaining sets, you are going to LOVE them! Post pics and write a small review of your setup!
  10. These are gorgeous wedges! They are butter soft, the finish, grind and quality are like no other. Very happy I jumped at the chance...
  11. sgjt4me, the 435 is 9.5 degrees with a Crazy Longest Yard 01 "La Bombs" 6.9 shaft.
  12. Also, if anyone does happen to visit the Bay Area, please definitely drop a line.
  13. Thanks everyone for the kind words :) Yes, the bag has been the next step. I am looking to get a membership to a local club and will brand myself with one of their bags if I can get in, if not, will be asking around for a lightweight stand walking bag :) The adventure into JDM gear has been awesome (and finding myself hitting the range just to play with the clubs a lot more than I used to, so its helping the game out as well). The clubs are all artwork, afraid when they finally meet that one-off pebble, etc.
  14. Finally able to take some pics of my recent 2 months of work with TSG :) Driver: Crazy 435, Crazy Longest Yard 6.9 Wood: Ryoma D1 F3, Crazy Black F80 Hybrid: RomaRo Type-R (18), Crazy Black Utility Hybrid: Crazy CRZ-Ut, Crazy Black Utility Irons: Mizuno Yoro Craft MP-64s, KBS Tour Wedge(s): Crazy CC-B 104, Crazy Black Wedge Wedge: S-Yard BOLD Putter: Bettinardi Signature Series #6 SPECIAL THANKS TO TARIO FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK!!!! T ROCKS!
  15. Similar to cotton balls, adding weight or to change the sound?
  16. Huge fan of the FW80 in my Ryoma F3 as well
  17. Go with the original 435, take a look at the new Crazy 450 or TRPX line as well. My swing speed (now comfortable around 94-95) is matched well with the old 435 (and a longest yard 01 shaft). Tario can fit you well...
  18. Got it, very interested to see the profiles when they launch, thanks T!
  19. T, do you know when the fairway wood from TRPX might hit the shelves? Are the FW shafts going to be similar to the driver offerings in profile, just butt cut and a little tip trimmed? Also, will the head be a similar jBeam offering?
  20. Sunnyvale, CA. Just started playing about 5 years ago and jumped in like a madman. Got down to a single digits early last year until kid #2 came and now slowly regressing back to 13. Still have some great swings in me, short-game is now my staple and addicted at trying new equipment. Outside of failing at becoming a PGA touring pro ;), I am an Engineering Director at Google Inc. in Mountain View.
  21. Fully agree and I need to get out there sometime :)
  22. Interesting. Do you know what the weight distribution is now in your 435 (i.e. I bought a Crazy weight kit to tinker with mine as well)...
  23. Will pass along the feedback to the Translate team ;)
  24. Ah, ok. Is that just temporarily or a direction where Crazy is going into more self-designed and manufactured heads?
  25. I read on some prior posts that Crazy would/might/never launch a branded version of the 435R? Anyone know if that is coming?
