The year is almost over... What was your Favorite JDM Driver of 2014?
Would like to have tried more but only had the pleasure of hitting 2. For tadjectory and length it was the JDM TM 430. For consistency it's my TRPX D-013. If I had the best of both I would have the perfect driver.

PRGR 2015 RS01 Driver

J-BEAM 535 Driver Thread!!!
How do you go flight wise? Are they the same or does one launch higher than the other at the same loft?

J-BEAM 535 Driver Thread!!!
The 535 head has me very interested after reading all the great feed back. My first taste of a JDM Driver was the TRPX D-103 10.5° with a Quadra Fire Express TP-V SR 75. I love how easy it is to hit, the feel, the unique sound and most of all how consistently tight dispersion is. The only draw back with this combo is that I hit it very high, actually too high even thou it doesn't balloon. Would like to really know how the loft and launch of the 535 head compares against how I hit the TRPX D-105. Would really like get a 535 but need to do it right based on as much info as I can get due to the costs. I don't have access to track man or similar to get any data that helps at this stage.

RomaRo Alcobaca Stream Wedge
No way near as good looking as the old model Alcobaca's with Shimada HW120s that I just got a month ago which play and feel freaking awesome too.

New Quadrafire Express Prototype 2014 ver. 1 "BLACK FIRE"
TP-V SR 65 in a TRPX D-103 here. Straightest combo I've ever hit. Can't be sure if all the shaft or head or the match between the two. The shaft does feel very stable for my aggressive transition.

Price Reduced* TRPX and JBeam 535
If it was 9° I'd be very interested. I love how easy and straight I hit my 10°.

TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
Another good day swinging it a bit better than of late and no wind to content with. Most consistent driving day for about 6 months. 73% effective drives. Any thing above 60% is good for me. Loving the D-103 Quadra combo, just need to find a second hand 9 degree head or raise the funds to get a new one so I can get that ball flight down a touch. The only negative is it's a bit on the high side.

TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
Just had my 3rd hit out with my TRPX D-103 10° the other day. I fitted mine up with a Quadra Fire Express TP-V 65 SR. Playing length is 45", swing weight D5. I've been swinging every thing in the bag terrible atm so it's hard getting a real good gauge on how any thing new goes but there are a few things I have noticed. Ball flight on the high side but is strong and penetrating, haven't seen one balloon at this stage. As bad as I'm swing every thing this is going very straight and doesn't deviate much from the line I start them on. I like the solid sound it makes. Hard to describe, it's not tinny and it's not muted. My USD Jets Speed and SLDR 460 is longer on well struck hits but the TRPX is so much more consistent in it's length. The big thing I've noticed is that all my hits have come from the middle section. A few have been up and down on the face but all have come from the middle. Can't say I've seen that with other drivers I own after 3 rounds. Pity these don't have adjustable tips/sleeves as I would really like to hit it in 9° after seeing how high I hit the 10°. Too expensive an exercise to buy another head.

Taylormade Japan SLDR 430 Pics
I'm gaming a 10° with GD ADDI 6s and like it a lot. I hit a high ball normally and this dragged the hight down a bit. Ball flight was a good penetrating flight into the wind with no ballooning. Hit some of my longest balls with this club. The club head looks fantastic at address.

TRPX Messenger 1st SR flex
That would be right. I'm waiting on a final payment with no exact date known and this comes up now.

SLDR 430 Japan feedback
Your mates will all have SLDR's soon. When the ERC II was out I had a friend we called the "no where man". He had a good sound repeatable swing but in comparison to 3 of us was always 20m behind off the tee. One day he rolls up with the ERC II and is keeping up and passing us. His irons were still the same 2-3 clubs more than us from same distance so wasn't swing mechanics. Two of us went out and bought ERC II's and the difference was restored.
