Hi guys,
I've been gaming c-taper regular for about 5 years.. Time for a change! My swingspeed with the driver is rougly 99 and 7 iron 83-85.. I'm changing my swing a lot to find something that works well and trying to get some more speed in it, therefore I'm looking for a shaft that I can grow with and improve my game over time, not straight away. Where I live, there are not many custom fitting stations and the ones available does not offer many specific shafts..
I've tried: px 5.5 and 6.0, modus 120's, taylormade standards 95 grams, ping awt stiff and so on.. I kinda like the feel of the taylormade standards and the modus 120's.. Not sure if its due to the fact that they are not so stiff.. But maybe also because I like the feel of something smooth rather than boardy like the c-tapers...
The shimadas caught my interest.. They seem to be a shaft that is well-spoken of and even so, better than the nippons in terms of smoothness?
Im a 11 HCP and going downwards.. I'm aiming at changing my shafts for wedges + irons.. What would your suggestions be? I want to grow in them.. They do not have to fit me straight away but I rather have something that is a bit challenging and can be fun in the long run!
Any input is highly appreciated!
