1. Are you on a cell or ipad? I'm sorry I put this on Vimeo and unlike Youtube Vimeo uses some sort of flash.
2. Yup i did, it's a unique lens not necessary unless one desires that 1.2 look. The cheaper 1.4 is actually sharper wide open and much cheaper. I'm learning RAW video this week. It's pretty amazing. I've fallen in love with the MKIII again especially with the magic lantern hack. Dual ISO still photos and videos are stellar, I can set 2500 for the dark areas and 100 on the light.

4. S 15/20/25 C most likely. I'd be willing to bet S25C as it's tried and true. Really no major difference in feel between the three as much depends on design, loft, bounce, annealing etc.. Take endo for example, they make many types of clubs and no two feel alike yet they are all S20C.
5. That was my bad back in the day, I'm sorry about the misinformation. I've given up the hunt for 1018 in Japan. No one can find it and no one believes Japanese companies would import non Japanese steel. Your clubs are beautiful, I'm on the fence to pick these up. I've sent out an inquiry to friends to see if I can source me used 2030's in any condition, if the answer comes back yes I will buy these if they are still around!
6. No where in Himeji uses or offers 1018. It's S15C or S25C. S20C was Endo only until about 5 years ago. 1018 would mean it's steel from China or the U.S and being that these are beautifully hand crafted Japanese heads I highly doubt that. Japanese steel is always S##C, if there is a 10 in front of the number it's not Japanese. Someone needs to pick these up, this is seriously an awesome price! I think they were like 2500 back in the day!
7. I've had the A7R since it's release a few weeks ago. The performance is staggering for it's size. Some of the tests being done are showing it to be superior in dynamic range & sharpness to even the D800E even when using an adapter and other brands lenses. Here are some pictures I took recently, take note of the colors & sharpness of these images. Also another review talking about the numbers behind the image quality with other brands lenses, the numbers are simply bonkers compared to the rest: http://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2013/12/sony-a7r-a-rising-tide-lifts-all-the-boats
8. Also the DF is smaller (not as small as A7R) it has cool retro styling but best part is it has the same sensor as Nikons flagship D4 inside. While your at it pick up the new Mac Pro bump it up to 12 cores and get a couple of those 30" 4K monitors that Apple is selling made by Sharp ;)
9. It's softer and bigger than the MC. It reminds me of the AF302 in size, comparing the two the edges, lines, and curves of the 302 are more appealing to my eye but this one is more forgiving.
10. I love this, Just like golf it can go all directions and never end. It's such a matter of taste. Im a very amateur photographer myself I own the A7R, 5D MKIII, X100S, RX100 and a bunch of lenses and adapters. I have shot with and rented the D800, D800E, and the new DF with various lenses as well. If I were to buy any Nikon right now it would be the DF. My second choice would be the standard D800. It makes no sense for me to go with the E as I already own that sensor in the A7R. It's too close to call. The D800 has a unique sharpness and is technically better specs while the 5DMKIII is just an overall a better shooting experience imo, You will get amazing quality imagery with both but most important is you get the shot in focus period. In low light the canon focus begins to pull from the Nikon, also the amount of noise in the photos. I've experienced it first hand. If I didn't have the A7R I would lust for the 800 & 800E though. And Here's a big one man, The 5D MKIII has the very stable and free magic lantern hack, It makes it capable of shooting RAW Video! Silent shooting, many cool features that Nikon will NEVER have. The 5D MKIII is superior in video stock, add the Magic Lantern hack and your competing with RED like what they filmed the hobbit in. If your going to shoot video it's an easy decision. MKIII all day. Also canon in 2014 is being called the year of the lenses. I'm very excited for the 24-70 F2.8L IS. 5DMKIII 16-35 f2.8L 24-70 f2.8L 70-200 f2.8L IS If you shoot Video the 50 1.2L (It's what I used to shoot the Sasaya interview.) Outside of all that pretty much everyone agree's that the newest game changers are the A7R & Nikon DF. The A7R is not forgiving when it comes to focus but when it does hit, you get D800E or better performance. MKIII vs D800 ( I like Kai's reviews because he is real world, not a specs junkie. following specs will drive you nuts! )
11. Even great club makers can have trouble with foamed heads if it's simply heated too many times. It's not a matter of torch vs heat gun. I don't know any club maker who uses a torch on woods. The foam just breaks down over time and a rattle is created.
12. Ah yes the 2030 are beautiful sticks, It's really just going for nostalgia of the name which is still very cool, If I were you I would keep these.
13. I totally understand what you are saying, you want the absolute best, but there is no best in this hobby, it's similar to golf clubs. Best what? Most megapixels, Best Low light performance, Best Autofocus, Best ISO performance? No camera has everything. It comes down to what you will shoot and at what focal length and what type of shooting experience you desire. I do have a recommendation, the Hasselblad H4D 200MS – $45,000 for just the body and figure about 5-15k per lense, 5 lenses would make a great collection. It's the top of the line camera from one of the best camera makers in the world. It has an resolution of 200 million pixels and I guarantee everyone will be impressed with your gear.
14. Because the steel hosel is long I would assume it can be easily bent even flatter.
15. I had my round today with Crazy Boron in the Kamui Nitro. It improved performance substantially. Much more laser. carry remained about the same but roll increased and overall I was much more happy with it over the stock shaft. The 9.5 Kamui Nitro vs the 9.0 Tour Authentic Callaway Legacy Black. Legacy Black was consistently longer in carry and roll but in feel the Kamui smoked the cally. That said I'm starting to get the gist that boutique JDM brands really have superb feel.
16. Just took the wraps off, can't wait to hit it. First impressions, as you can see it's a very shallow face but it looks sleek, pretty compact with a very nice setup. If it's like the new Tour Authentic Legacy Black driver i will likey very much as that driver is uber long and shoots low bullets.
17. 610 HP V10 7 speed dual clutch only 95 lbs heavier than the 458. AWD. 18mpg It's the replacement to the Gallardo
18. Coming in 2015!
19. Mr.D knows his stuff. I personally got the 5d MKIII over the D800 or D800E because It's faster and more snappy and also has really good high ISO performance. Skyline, this is what I would suggest if you want something a bit easier to use and want to capture things that move. It's not about megapixils or prestige, it's about what will get YOU the best pictures. The D800E is for professional print photographers. You want to know your style before jumping to something that big, It could be like trying to hit drives with a putter. You could easily spend 10-20k to realize it's not what you wanted. Yes the Ziess Otuss 55 1.4 works like a dream with the D800E but It sounds like you just want to toss money at something. It's like golf you need to know your game before you buy. I'm almost positive you will hate lugging around an expensive beast like that. If you are not very comfortable with shooting with M or manual don't buy this sort of camera. In photography lessons are even more important than they are in golf! It takes at least years to learn so start on something like Mr. D says 24-70 on the 5d mkIII. It's still arguably equal to the D800. It's the same price as the D800E just more user friendly with the D800E you will have a harder time capturing moving objects, harder time getting focus which is most important, and it may just be too sharp. Also look at the Nikon DF, It's the D4 sensor in a retro package. Awesome camera! Totally and it's a great price as well. My wife had the RX100 then moved to the Fuji X100S, RX10 is awesome too but I think the A7 image quality is top notch. A99 DSLR in a tiny package. Revolutionary and no doubt the A7/A7R are the biggest thing to happen in photography in years. Here's a fun vid:
20. I'm curious about your feedback the most. Isn't it always this way with your Tour Models? I mean they always come at this cold time of year. No they are not released yet. No the Type-R is more forgiving and longer imo. This Yammy tour reminds me of a slightly firmer, more compact onoff forged with nearly the same amount of forgiveness.
21. After my time with these I think it boils down to the shaft again. The Messenger shafted drivers I have are longer distance overall than the stock shaft combo on the Nitro or Foamed Kamui. In fact my Tour Authentic Legacy Black with Speeder 661 is longer and more stable so it's gotta be a case of superior shaft. I predict the Kamui + Messenger or Boron will be a beast. I get a slightly better trajectory consistently with more roll using the foam version. After the first 2 rounds the novelty of the foam feel has worn off and I prefer the Nitro's feel. The trajectory & spin of the Kamui with the stock shaft is not stable enough thus it comes down to the shaft again. I'm putting my xXx Messenger into the nitro and have a round scheduled mid day today. I don't believe it's longer than the others, I've been saying 10+ yds longer so many times I should be hitting it 400yds by now. When the next Kamui comes out we will be saying its 10yds further than the last. For me the shaft matters most, then CG height and position in a head, then specs.
