  1. S25C is what most forged irons are produced of including Mizuno. Same stuff on both sides of the pond.
  2. I think I may have had a similar experience to Robbie, I started thinking 9.5 and although my results were pretty nice the 10.5 was a game changer for me. With all the shafts available there should be three of four that do you right and once you figure out what those are stick with them and have a few pulls on the side that way you can give the head a good chance at staying.
  3. This is a scan that's been floating around. It's the real deal. What you guys see there will be the new AF-103.
  4. Nothing really, a member asked us to delete his account. Per his request we did so. You guys don't see it but we ban spammers, trolls, and disruptive trouble makers every week. If we let the weeds grow this wouldn't be a happy place at all and end up looking like a lot of other golf forums.
  5. This particular situation is interesting. The customer was not happy with his translucent paint fill. Sasaya offered to fix the issue and cover the shipping if there was actually an issue but the customer decided not to send it back and do the paint himself. Not much we or Sasaya can do about that if the customer doesn't want to send it back for inspection. Now the spots on SUS303, SS doesn't rust we all know that and Sasaya wants it sent back to see what the problem is. We will cover shipping if its an issue of the manufacture, Sasaya will fix if he's at fault as well. But again the customer must be willing to send the putter in for the inspection before we can do that.
  6. Correct he's been 86'd. It wasn't for disagreeing or not sharing any particular opinion. It's simply because TSG has for the most part very well mannered members. I'd like to keep it that way. Your all good ukok, your opinion is fine and you presented it perfectly.
  7. These are still my gamers. Still in love! Feel is great, It's fairly forgiving for a blade couldn't be happier. When my new VG3's come in I will rotate back and fourth.
  8. Yes to me they seem soft to flex. Not incredibly but perhaps a half flex softer.
  9. The tech in the Type-S or 501 is still the standard today for many brands in Japan & the USA. There is nothing old about it. Epon has always been about what works. High tech IMO is TourStage or PRGR. In the states you could say it's TM or Cally. The 502 is a different story it is high tech with the alpha gel & 2 piece construction things that brands in the U.S have not implemented due to cost. Keep in mind that ENDO manufacturing in general is considered high tech compared to any other manufacture. I feel it's easy to understand why these are US/EU releases, It's the price. If we look at the complete picture here, These clubs are expensive to start with, the yen is strong and it's easy for any JDM brand to price themselves out of the global market by not making smart decisions. If they re milled the back cavity and put a different name on it no one would be complaining because it would "seem" like a different model. But what Epon has done is adjust their shape and aesthetics, kept the proven design and priced it more affordably which may not be what US/EU TSG'ers want but it IS what US/EU golfers in general want. Epon will still have tech packed clubs, limited clubs, expensive high end clubs. That's a given. It's just now they have something for the enthusiast willing to spend but not go crazy. Their current stuff is produced in such limited numbers with original molds it's gotta be priced super high. A set of custom epons is in the 1500-2000 range. I think having options in the 1100 range is only a positive. In regards to distribution, There will still only be a limited number of accounts in the U.S & E.U. This is not mass market product.
  10. I love the feel of that FIT face. One of my favorites.
  11. We have already notified Epon about this seller. The thing is all their clubs are fakes. They don't sell any real ones.
  12. Have never hit it but we do know It's not full length. We asked at the show and they bounced around that question. No one can produce a full length 80T shaft at that price not even Quadra who makes their own.
  13. I'm glad Epon is creating an RF line using "adjusted" previous models at a lower price point. These are still exclusive and original designs. Not sure how much lower they will cost but the point is it will allow new players to experience the brand. Then if they like what they have they can graduate to the higher end models like the personals and other premium future releases. This makes perfect business sense to me. I think it's just a poor effort by dale in trying to be funny, I don't see how anyone could get their panties in a bunch over this. If he was serious he must be outraged to a point of hemorrhage about brands using open model heads.
  14. We are talking with Ryoma to see whats up with this and what you can do without sending it back. We're on it!
  15. Welcome to the RF line guys. This is for overseas customers, the RF line is priced more affordably than their newer more premium line products that Epon has been releasing. Same quality, same name, same maker. better price! Expect more to come.
  16. Looks like a bad finish to me. I think he should re do your paint fill and refinish the putter on his dime. I will talk to Sasaya about this. PM me directly please.
  17. Thanks, So do you think a person needs a very fast SS to handle it? I don't I've only hit the 7*. I based my opinion on two pals who game it and swing 95mph. I personally think a lot of it depends on how you hit the ball, sweeping up or coming into it more steep. One guy gets only a slightly lower launch than his TourStage 905 10.5 with DI-6 stiff shaft. My Ryoma 10.5 w/ CB-46 is only a littler higher than the Egg 7* with stock shaft. I have no evidence of this but I feel like a shaft change to the Egg 7* would make it play a lot lower.
  18. Great so were moving a few Yamaha V202 drivers to some really good contributors here but now some are asking what about the Z202 & D202 drivers by yammy. It's only fair to offer those as well to those members who participate frequently and have over 100 posts. Z202 for the average golfer and higher handicapper. MSRP - $1035.00 932.00 in the pro shop. Special Price for members over 100 posts = 800.00 + shipping and fees. D202 for the mid capper to average golfer. MSRP - $1035.00 932.00 in the pro shop. Special Price for members over 100 posts = + shipping and fees. These specials will be ending shortly.
  19. You don't need a crazy SS like Mr. D to handle this driver. It's pretty much like any 9.5 driver but with a different number on it. It has a nice penetrating traj. Good role, low spin and a nice setup. Don't let the number 7 fool you.
  20. He's back monday, so you should send it now he may respond.
  21. your right, my zero is 10.5 the only loft they make...lol It flies like a 9.5 i swear so I assumed its that.
