  1. Epon Factory will produce it with the proper tipping.

A new tab has been added to the top of all TSG pages named " VIDEOS ". Please have a click and check it out. Enjoy and thank you for making TSG what it is today, The #1 source of JDM golf gear and information in the world.
  3. Many brands that can't afford R&D and tooling costs select to adjust open model heads. Another name for open model heads are catalog blanks. Smaller brands like Scratch, Zodia, Golden Ratio, Nano power and over a dozen more simply adjust the top line, sole, and other specs of these blanks and add their own Logo. Are they good? Yes they are... would I suggest them? Only if you are on a budget. I would not suggest paying big bucks for anything open model though. Keep in mind that the models shown above have been around for almost 5 years, They are very basic in design and manufacturing with no sharp edge tooling or CNC milling. They are accessible through a variety of different foundries and grinding facilities so narrowing down a manufacture proves difficult.
  4. Very informative thread guys and Thank You Randy. BTW we have a bunch of CB247 sets available now within the U.S all 3-PW NS1150 Stiff at a great price.
  5. Several months at least. This first batch is putters, irons, and wedges only.
  6. I love mach line as well. I have never fit a wider range of shafts from any brand. I will have info in about a day on this as i contacted NGS for some data on these. Looks good and thanks for the find!
  7. This one is a bit more firm or crisp than the F.I.T face that Bettinardi uses.
  8. FYI Guys, the GS product in the proshop are 1st Run Prototypes that should go up in Value as most of Takei's original designs do. We don't have very much stock and they should hit the ground in about 7-10 days.
  9. Great Post Brett! Just as Bomba man said you explain things in a fun and entertaining read. I totally agree that most people use shafts far stiffer than needed. This is most common in the states where we have all seen guys swinging out of their shoes getting Big Man club head speed but mediocre distances and dispersion. Your suggestion about hitting extreme soft flexes and working up the stiffness ladder truly does ingrain the slowing it down naturally feel and letting the whip do the talking. Its the least we can do I mean we spend all this money on golf gear how about we let the gear work for us instead of attacking the ball with brute force. Its like many of the JLPGA gal's low head speed yet amazing tempo and technique give them big distance.
  10. Just remember it was TSG 4 years ago who made one of the first...
  11. As you already know much of the Geotech brand is forged in Japan, not All but a lot. The price points on these irons are astonishing, If you are hesitant to get into JDM gear due to the higher prices we can suggest Geotech clubs like the EK Forged and 670HC as seen below. They look familiar to you guys?
  12. Simply PM me and we can get another built for you and even better you may adjust it to your desires that way.
  13. Yes sir, the geotech models forged in Japan are very solid. Models like the EK forged, V-CNC MB, 670HC and all the wedges and woods perform and feel great as well.
  14. Mid July we have many coming so pre order yours now. Mid August we have custom shafted S400 and PX6.0 versions available. Pre sale will be in the proshop this week, they will be gone quick.
  15. Thats true, I have some super huge Tourstage shirts and some tiny Paradiso shirts in the same size. As usual in this sport there are few true standards.
  16. The Japanese version has slightly different stampings and higher bounce. Other than that I don't know of any other differences.
  17. Yes the shirts run very small compared to U.S standards. L is like a Small or M, LL is like an M or L.
  18. When they were first released retail they cost about 2k brand new and came 3-PW + 2 handmade wedges. If they are new today with 10 clubs in the set i think 1500 is a fair price.
  19. Blast us an e-mail with the exact model #, color, size, and link to the product. If the size you want is still available then we can get it for you below retail price. please remember the most popular sizes like L and LL are usually sold out before release. Also we don't sell outdated apparel only the latest stuff.
  20. Yes If i were to guess you will have a lower ball flight that is very straight yet not the hottest as far as distance goes. Great driver on a tight short course.
  21. Hey Doc, Thats one I do not suggest, both are prototypes one could have been foamed. The distance I would rate poor, its got a muted sound to it and they are both 430cc's. If your a collector of Gauge JPN product then great but if you intend on hitting these as gamers I would suggest a more final product with better performance. Those drivers were never released public due to performance issues.
  22. Yes China or Taiwan sir. There are many Japanese brands that don't produce much their product IN Japan like RC, Crews Golf, and unfortunately even Yururi has outsourced many of its products to those countries as well. We encourage these types of questions because for the average consumer its very hard to tell where certain clubs are made. You may think your getting a Japanese made club in reality your buying a chinese made club from a Japanese brand.
  23. I would have to agree, Geotech is an affordable option for customers who are not willing to spend as much.
  24. All Epon accounts can get the heads only for assembly they just can't sell it heads only direct to the customer. TSG has custom finish options. Every finish epon offers can be done in any of their clubs we can also do laser engraving. So if you have a clubmaker in your area you would like to give access to the Epon brand just have them contact the proper authority at www.eponforged.com to setup their account. This way your local store can bring in demos for you to view or try as well as order heads only for your custom fitting. In regards to manufacturing, Epon is vastly superior but Miura is traditional old school validated design. I play Miura blades and Epon CB's + everything else.
