  1. There are very few solid driving irons, IMO the AF901 kills them all with the original Tourstage X-Blade and PRGR Zoom 220i tied for second. I really didn't like the ONOFF, it was similar to the zoom with less offset but harder to hit.
  2. Chuo doesn't make woods they don't make very many irons also, The MP460 lacks distance big time IMO. Not sure why but it just feels soft ( good ) at the face but hallow ( bad ) as well. It feels similar to the Epon ZR by just a little but performance IMO just doens't compare. They are made in Taiwan or China. The 425 performs better than the 460. I have tested both on multiple occasions in a variety of shafts.
  3. I want to play shadow creek very badly also, How was it? Vegas golf is great! Great service and the people have great attitudes.
  4. Take a look at a couple prototype putters, All new and original designs. There are many types of designs coming out from George Spirits, A very interesting aspect is that they are 3 piece putters with a 1005 Forged carbon face while the mid and rear pieces are 1015.
  5. Great review Doc! I am also amazed by GeoTech's product for the price point, Especially their woods and wedges. I would also like to try FW's with less score marks on the face.
  6. When i would hit irons with these I notived they add and give off a metal tinkish sound.
  7. Guys please leave open model aka catalog heads out of this discussion. We do not want to give any credit to brands that simply stamp their logo on a pre design unbranded product.
  8. At this moment Tour AD MD-6, but I have been testing some future prototype technologies that are giving me obvious performance gains. When these new products hit the market you guys will foam at the mouth.
  9. You are an animal! Two great set's you have got major taste.
  10. I am gonna have to take them out to do battle again, I found the 460ZR to have a more floaty trajectory with less conviction. WM is right the feel is not crisp on the 101 it is like a 460 with the volume turned down.
  11. On the launch monitor a I get a more piercing trajectory a couple yards more carry on average but an outstanding 5 - 10yds more roll! As far as feel goes, ZR feels more metallic sponge over a larger area while the 101 is more muted metallic but when hit on the screws or near It has that soft metallic sponge we all like.
  12. Plus1 contacted me looking to build his dream putter, He was flexible enough to ask me to design and build it for him. I also ended up purchasing this putters brother because I liked it so much. So here it is Plus1's & My new Gold's gamer.
  13. Not soon but there is one in the works. They could produce one quickly but realize every blade has been done almost a dozen times and they desired something special, unique, with new design and technology.
  14. To clear things up, All CB247 were built as Tour Issue. There were Satin & Chrome versions only. Daiwa Japan has confirmed many many times to me there is no Tour Issue of the Tour Issue model. Bottom line is stay away from almost everything labeled Tour Issue, Tour Issue TM is still made in China, Tour Issue Miura has nothing special in it when compared to retail Miura. Tour Issue Titleist is same as retail Titleist. ONOFF PLUS model is forged in China by Nelson. Great Iron design for sure but when you look at the plating and the grind, it obviously doesn't look made in Japan. We have both available right now at a great price. I personally would suggest CB247 over the Plus.
  15. ONOFF CB247 is the one i would suggest. We still have some sets at a killer price guys.
  16. Most of the time they do not, but they can by request. It is common practice to install the shaft label up or down, when the customer get's it he or she can easily do this themselves.
