  1. Available now guys, shafted or heads only. the price is 1599.00 for heads only 1999.00 shafted.
  2. No Sir, Dance with Dragon is a whole other brand that sells apparel. Gold's Factory from time to time produces some special pieces for them.
  3. I have several rounds into them and a good amount of range time. I wasn't expecting to enjoy these as much as I have. The MB5003 was soft when I hit them with NS Pro's, with Roddio I-10's they are even softer. Its like the graphite enhanced its feel. I understand not many people play blades with graphite but for some reason I am more accurate now and able to control trajectory fairly easy, I think steel is easier to control left and right dispersion though but overall these irons are sweet as candy. What I like a lot about playing graphite is even at D1 swing weight the head heavy feel is very prominent. After extended use I feel there are easier to hit blades on the market but not as accurate and solid feeling. My distance has improved greatly also. With blades more than cavity backs off center hit are greatly penalized also add another factor that blades have more traditional weaker lofts so when many go from CB to blade they lose a little distance. Thanks to graphite the distance has remained the same if not better.
  4. For sure on the shafts, Epon has the best selection of any OEM, Mach Line, DREV, Fujikura, Tour AD, Axiv, etc.. etc.. Also the AF101 plays true to loft unlike many other drivers on the market.
  5. Yup Even Yururi's new Prototype driver just recieved USGA approval. Anyway had 20 holes in with this puppy yesterday. Feel: less hollow than the Epon 460ZR yet a tadd less spongy at impact. I favor the 460ZR's feel but the performance of the AF101 is a different story. You can barely feel the ball hit the face, It absorbs the impact and launches hot. Distance: The 9.5 square face 101 with Mach Line 7081 Stiff I now hit got about 5-8ish more yards distance overall. The ball comes off the face a hair lower yet it seems faster or with more rebound. I think the AF101 gets about the same distance as the EMB. Visual: It looks smaller than the 460ZR but its actually the same size. It has a deep face and the 9.5 loft comes standard with a square angle while the 10.5 is 0.5 closed, remember custom face option is available. Everything about this driver is an improvement visually. The large E logo on the toe, the clean sole, and its playeresque appearance. Forgiveness: Just as forgiving as the 460ZR with a slightly smaller face hitting area, based on what I experienced yesterday. Not as forgiving as the EMB but more forgiving than many of the high MOI drivers from other JDM or USDM brands. I got a very piercing trajectory with the perfect amount of forward kick and roll. I am going to try and stick with the 9.5 model although i usually use a 10.5. I am so very satisfied with the 7081 Mach Line installed. I wont be changing, Epon has a good match with this driver. The 7081 has a decent amount of kick feel from the butt end. The tip seems very stable and did not give me any unexpected results. If you guys have any specific questions let me know.
  6. The Tour Limited Endo Forged Version is already sold out in Japan. TSG only has a couple sets left. Not many sets were made and we didn't expect them to go so quickly.
  7. Put in 20 holes yesterday with all lofts, 19/22/25 are what they will be available in. The shafts tested were the new Mach Line UT which comes standard in R & Stiff flex's I love this club, In fact I removed the 5 wood, the 9 wood and the #5 iron from the bag replaced for all 3 lofts. I hit this club from the bunker, from the Tee, and the fairway with ease. It has the same feel as the Epon AF701, its what I would consider a hollow 1 piece forging. Inside it has tungsten weighting for a low center of gravity. Hands down the best driving iron I have ever hit. PRGR's Zoom comes in at a distant 2nd and the Tourstage driving iron an even more distant 3rd place. I was getting a mid/high trajectory from hard pan turf and tight lies, from the fairway same deal. The 22* in R flex i was hitting about 185-190, the 19* in Stiff flex at a perfect 195-205 range and the 25* a nice 175ish. It worked perfectly for getting over long par 5 Arroyo's, off the Tee on short Par 4's, from Par 5 fairway bunkers, and the 25* was a par 3 life saver. The 9 wood no matter what shaft was not this accurate or predictable. I have had not so hot experiences with driving irons in the past, I tried hybrids and ended up doing my best with 5,7, and 9 fairway woods. Now I am getting the same amount of distance with a more accurate dispersion and more desirable trajectory.
  8. Got to hit a few shots with each finish today. Let me start by saying Epon has made a major breakthrough in spin, these babies are sharp, legal and chews golf ball covers for breakfast. I was able to hit it side by side against some of the new Callaway wedges with MD grooves, very similar but the Epon's actually produced more spin. Yes even more than Fourteen and Crew's wedges. I have not seen a wedge chew a ball like this since the illegal version of the GAS1 Forged. The bounce on this new 208KGX model is higher yet its camber lower, its grind has the perfect amount of trailing edge relief before its sole flattens out. Yes much better than the previous model for steeper swingers. Its head is also noticeably more compact than the AF wedge, its for sure setup for the better player. Of the three finishes the the smooth gold felt the softest. I like the silver satin versions feel best. while the charcoal black was in between the two. Will provide more info soon as I have a couple of rounds coming up with them. Right now they are shafted with K's wedge shafts.
  9. Just installed a Mach Line 7081 Stiff, Tomorrow I run this club through 18 holes.
  10. Thanks! We try guys, right around now its tuff as all Major OEM's are producing their new models and factories being back ordered is a common theme each year around this time. We promise to do even better in 2008 for you guys.
  11. I have seen them from 2500 - 4500 bucks, you have to contact fourteen directly. Also this doesn't come with the tall mount so expect additional parts and work.
  12. Hit it again today, did a little better. It still flew a bit low compared to even lower lofted drivers, the feel is a bit on the hard side at impact. The stock shaft was quite soft for a stiff flex and like the Roddio took a little time to get used to, I would figure this would give it some launch but it didn't. This could be a great club for someone trying to get the ball flight down. This could be their plan as it is the + model. very nice profile from above.
  13. great machine! I have messed around with it and its almost perfect in every way. I went with Mitchell because i can also use it for certain FW's and UT's
  14. These are now available guys, Epon had to step up the release date due to the AF wedge selling out sooner than expected.
  15. lol.... agreed, The Yoshinoya is the only one I would sport.
  16. My swing speed doesn't crack faces so i couldn't tell you to be honest. I will say that this is a mediocre driver in its stock form. I'm not going to attempt to re shaft it as their are many others that I have that feel a bit better and are easier to hit with noticeably more distance. They should have also went with a traditional non adapter type hosel as our customers don't always have club makers who are familiar with the product or can obtain the adapter. Folk's please don't ask us for the adapter, please contact Daiwa directly. Sexy looking club but I'm spoiled on the Epon's performance. I'm sure others could configure it with their favorite shaft and get great results from it.
