  1. Tons of places, none that are any special or that will have the rare products we have. But if you see any new product you like, I will beat that Japanese shops price for you.
  2. Never heard of them, can you post something to help us help you?
  3. G-Field is easier to get into the air because of its shallow face. I noticed the Epons go pretty low compared to others. Im playing the 3+, 5, and 9 wood combo right now. Blader X is another one who has owned both.
  4. Hey Randy, - Feel is a little better imo, soft yet different. very hard to explain. - Yes more forgiving for sure than the MP-27 - Yes the Lofts can be custom ordered and you will get Y stamp ferrules if you go that route I like these irons but they are not in the bag at the moment, sorry gotta change the sig. I have a set of The Yururi Flat Back Blades with graphite shafts im working very well right now. Its like the MP-33 with feel i can only dream about. I switch around quite a bit but keep my specs the same in each set. The JPX Forged is a great great club if you dont mind mid size cavity backs.
  5. Its a different feel. The old version was Titanium and foamed. The new version is cold rolled forged steel and feels very very good unlike the last version that was dead mute.
  6. 9* and 10* sir. Its a very sweet driver. Just shafted her up with da RODDIO.
  7. Its a different grind in the lower toe area, The Technity wedge is just a hair easier to open up due to this. The lower toe on the Model X wedge is closer to the ground while the technity looks a bit lifted. Model X is only available in Copper. I can special order any finish on most of these wedges but it cost more and takes a couple weeks longer.
  8. It will wear for sure. Black, Copper, and other finishes that are not plated will wear.
  9. I apologize in advance for being critical in the following, keep in mind we do sell a lot of Miura product and I'm just being my usual honest and blunt self in order to educate our members. There is a misconception that Miura has the highest quality product when in reality they are looked down upon by almost every foundry in Japan. Reason being is that all of their irons are 2 pieces ( spin welded ) even generic smaller brands with less cash don't dare to cut corners in that way. Why do they do this? Well its far cheaper per head but more important they don't need to tie up tooling charges for each and every loft. Only in the USA and UK do people consider Miura a top notch forging. If you take a look at Chinese foundries they wont use spin welded hosels. When OEMs need to produce a Tour Issue set of irons of course they ask Miura, the price is simply a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere and Miura will produce smaller amounts for them. Other factories have a minimum order along with tooling charges per each loft. Just a ball park figure but spin welded is usually 30% cheaper than one piece, also Miura will pay only around 12-15k for tooling on one set of irons while everyone else who build clubs with true quality need to pay 95,000+ on the same tooling in a one piece head. Believe it or not many of the large OEMs cant afford to produce their retail or Tour clubs at Endo because its more expensive and the minimum orders are too high. Some say it cost's 40% more to purchase from endo vs elsewhere and if you look close, majority of the worlds best players are using Endo forgings. hmm I wonder where tom Stites and Rodger Cleveland get their raw heads from? Lets talk Mizuno for a sec. GOOD stuff! double forged J.I.S grade. most himeji brands quad forge clubs, I would rate Chuo plant number 2 behind Endo, Chuo makes AMAZING feeling product but cant do complicated cavity back design and other advanced features. Whatever the case Mizuno's Chuo and Endo are two of the best. Kudo's to Mizuno for using both plants, and Kudo's to Callaway for using Japanese Forging again with their X-Forged and X-Tour Wedges. Ok so back to this FW, Quality of manufacturing is just not there, of course these pics make it look good but to give you guys an idea, it reminds me of Gauge Design Japan's very first fairway wood in how the face and its lines look cheap. 2nd generation will for sure be better, and so on. I must warn that perhaps only I and few others are this critical to pick things apart like this but I feel it makes interesting reading for you guys to know the real inside scoop. To continue my rant lol, USA tour players do not receive the best equipment possible. Ask a tour rep who has worked both tours and they will tell you that USA professional golfers are easier to work with because they simply take the club you build and hit it, where as in Japan the player will request all sorts of custom options requiring extra tooling made, like less offset, different shape etc.. In USA only several players get their own tooling. the rest have to have things hand ground. Same deal with shafts the U.S players have to wait a while before the technology trickles down to them from Japan. IMO best of the best is cold forged double pressed 1020 J.I.S grade steel from Endo. Its very soft yet not mushy. That said I hit this Miura FW with my good ol PT-7 installed and it flys well. The setup is nicer than most and distance is average, The 15* went a bit higher than my GFT 16* built at the same specs and it was not as straight as the GFT but I actually like this FW more than my Royal Collection. Again thanks for tolerating me as I split hairs.
  10. You guys are spot on its the 2007 TP-6 shaft in these pics.
  11. Thanks Guys, This is just a set of Epon Type J's that has been modified. They are indeed to pretty to hit and one of a kind. The finish will wear and no im sorry i have not had any wedges made.
  12. Many of the Top players in Japan from Tourstage have their names "chased" on the sole before the club is finished. Well now that service is available to TSG members for epon product. There are three types of characters available in 7 different colors with a 10 letter max stamping room on each of epons iron models. It takes about 2 weeks total time. Each customer must pay for the tooling charge which is 300.00 Then Price per each letter is 6.00 They can also do laser engraving which is not as deep but tooling and price per letter is about 30% less.
  13. Not available to the public the UT-306 is a test sample / tour issued product that has a smaller profile yet very similar design to the UT-106. I have hit both side by side already and the UT-106 is longer, floats higher, lands softer and feels the same. In this case the UT-306 only looks better.
  14. PRGR 900MD 4-PW M-43 Steel Spec Shafts Brand New in the Wraps! I had to take more pics. if you guys like a true players CB with a very soft and rewarding feel this bud's for you! 689.00 + Paypal and Shipping
  15. Just shafted one up with a Mach Line, gonna give her a test run soon I hope. One TSG'er was crazy enough to purchase 3 and install TP-7's in all of them
  16. LOL.. im not doing this anymore. One customer had me try and it took forever and wasnt perfect. People could do this but it just takes lots of time and adjustments.
