  1. I am more accurate with steel for full shots, graphite is when im just off the green. I hit 7 balls with each wedge and kinda judge which setup gets me closer to the hole the more often. If they come within pretty close of each other I do the same process over again until I find my winner. I have used Axiv graphite for a pretty long time, My current Axiv shafted wedge is a BERES wedge with the 950M shaft in X, weighted to play a tad softer. If i find time I will post data comparing the standard X-wedge on the Vector vs Graphite X-wedge.
  2. I carry an extra wedge with a graphite shaft because my % of chipping the ball close to the hole increased big time with it. It has something to do with feel, touch, and control for me.
  3. I have not hit the fusion but I have hit the forged several times. The forged is the way to go, its the smallest ERC club in the line up and the only forged model Pretty soft due to the insert and metal yet also very forgiving. less offset than the fusion also. sorry thats all the info i have it has been a while.
  4. We got them if you need um. Drop me a PM.
  5. I use the buffer motor with a certain wheel and make sure that its always brushing in the same direction. Its very easy and the wedge doesn't rust. I haven't mastered the art of the perfect paint fill yet but I'm learning with each and every attempt.
  6. Im doing my best to get some of the Japanese golf magazines to begin testing the Ozik Shaft. Took a few up to the Tokyo Golf Show and many people were quite impressed.
  7. I Brushed the chrome to give it that special look and changed the paint fill. Re shafted it with the Mamiya Axiv Graphite shaft and weighted it to a perfect D4. The ferrule is a blue silver blue line and the grip is matches too. We can do this in Yellow Black, Pink White, etc.. any color you need for the price of labor and parts. Standard Chrome Model: Tour Spec'd Version
  8. Not sure at all on that one, i would have to check. Do you want that one?
  9. No these prices dont include international shipping. The specs are 73g 3.0tq its a high launch mid tip stiff with mid/low spin
  10. Got some un-hit untipped diamana white board shafts that were pulled from custom clubs and never used.
  11. In the XCON Altus we can get you: A, R, F, S, SG, X, XX In the XCON F7-M we can get you: S, SG, X, XX
  12. We have always had the Zodia account if your interested.
  13. You can visit the EPON HQ though but im afraid thats in the opposite direction for you as Niigata is the other direction on the Shinkansen.
  14. To give you some info on the Tourstage its what i call a new age design, the shape is moving away from what other OEMs are doing with a more shallow face and straight leading edge. its for the better player who needs to open up the face yet has a digger/driver style swing. The leading edge is quite killed. I expect more companies to come to this shape in the near future. I play the Epon Technity because i like the lower toe grind higher than it is on the Model X.
  15. Yes Mr. X, The MP series is all made at the Chuo plant. The USA stuff is finished in China, the Customs are finished in Japan. Feel is softer for some but others cant tell.
  16. Stay away from any brand that buys heads from a catalog and stamps it with their logo. Original Design should be appreciated. The model irons and wedges in their product line up are used by over 5 other companies.
  17. If people are selling heads they are gray or black market items. We had 3 Tourstage X-Drive 460's sent to us for re shafts, Customers get them from ebay and think they are tour. head weights are normally 204 on the XD but with these they are 193-195. Mizuno and Tourstage have some issues in China with people going through the trash.
  18. Thats right if you think you got the skills to be the next big wedge guru step up to the plate, To be honest its not that hard, anyone with a pair of safety glasses, gloves, and a grinding wheel can do this. TSG now features Japan Industry Grade Raw Heads for sale. In this listing we are selling G3101 (JIS Code) which is very similar to 1025 but forged 4 times instead of 2 times making the grain structure more dense. This is done because harder wedges are known to provide more spin. The heads are all overweight some 40-100+ gram overweight vs a retail raw wedge, The grooves have been stamped, the leading edge and neck prepped for the grinder. So the pain in the butt work has already been done. All you need now are some creative grind ideas! So have fun and try something new for a change, create your own custom Japanese forged wedge! More pics to come!
  19. They are now available for custom order with the MP-R wedges. Take your pic of 3 different stamping options:
  20. We had the chance to sit down with the Daiwa Japan team including the creator of the Roddio Shaft just a couple of weeks ago. This shaft is sensitive to tipping, also cpm adjustment is not done as easily as the originals are not calculated from a 5" or 7" clamp or what American club makers use i.e Digi Flex etc.. Shafts are not to be sold alone brand new anywhere, Only installed by trained Daiwa approved club makers. Each time we do an install of a Roddio shaft for our customers we must send Roddio HQ in Tokyo a card that details the install and specifications of the clubs final build specs w/ serial number. Sound Crazy? Its not, this is how Daiwa does things, very exclusive. The WA model Pentacross is for the hard hitter with a fast and powerful motion minimizing spin and taking the left side out of play. ( RODDIO's designer says the WA model is for the person with wrist lag ) The BA model is made for the player with more of a smooth fluid motion. The BA is built for slightly more spin, maximum carry and difficult to push right. ( If you have less wrist lag the BA model is suggested )
  21. Both Cord and Tour Velvet style come in this week.
  22. It can be yours for 375.00 Shipped each to your door Altus is 69g 255cpm F7-M is 76g 259cpm
  23. It was a pro platinum they re milled the face to remove the scotty text, ground the sole to remove the engraving and used a dremel tool to remove the sight line. They also put a very real looking T stamp on it but the scotty text is mis stamped. Head is only 300 grams after all that crap they did to it.
  24. Im building a pair for my bag right now, Im far too impressed with this shape.
