  1. I honestly would take the ERC HOT Forged as its Callaway Japans only forged iron besides the X-Tour. It is also the most compact of the ERC or Fusion Series not to mention a bit harder to find used. I dont think gauge will ever become a collectors item, with the 2 other off shoots Whitlam Golf and Golds Factory using their older tooling designs.
  2. NiCr20 is a durable yet very soft finish with two new versions from Endo, ones called "half mirror" and the other "half satin". This is the most premium and desired finish that can be put on a golf club and EPON is the first to bring it. Half Satin Half Mirror There were only 24pcs of NiCr20 "Satin" Model X wedges made, now here it is the only 12pcs NiCr20 "Mirror" Model X wedges made. Also worth to note only 24pcs of the new Technity Wedge are available in the "Mirror" finish. The retail finish for the X-Model wedge is copper, the retail finishes for the New Technity are Black Oxide and NiCr20 "Satin"
  3. We have a couple here including the J Spec, shape is a tad weird and I will get pics up asap for you gents. The V2 and Low Bounce V2 are still imo their best shaped compact headed wedge.
  4. Here is another one you did that I think the members would love:
  5. Crews rock, its just so many options i easily leave other great pics out. Rumor has it Tourstage has an NiCr20 finished wedge coming in 2007 also.
  6. im pretty sure its .370. In regards to the flight im getting low and tight with the NS PRO 950 stiff. You could go with an NS850 or graphite. My favorite UT shaft of all time is the Tour AD UT-85.
  7. The ball flight it gave me in an epon 460 head was a tad lower than i expected, the shaft has something great going for it, it does not feel boardy or lack any kick but the dispersion is tight and slightly low. It reminds me of a rombax shaft with extra kick. Im a fan as i can feel this shaft load almost as much as I can feel an Axiv load.
  8. Very Clean Images thank you for the pics of that hot set o stix.
  9. So many good wedges to choose from, Now days with all of these new grind options everyone is covered. My Favorites: 1. Epon Model X and Technity Wedges 2. Honma Beres L101 wedge 3. Mizuno MP-R Custom Wedge 4. Fourteen V2 Wedge I like the way the three above setup, look, and perform. Of course wedges are so personal i suggest you follow your heart.
  10. Skip the Fitting at Victoria Golf, its a waste of time. VG is just a great store to see all the products you hear so much about here.
  11. We can bring in the Fit39 glove with the TSG logo if you guys request.

This players cavity back is available 3-PW, 4-PW, 5-PW or with optional Aw and 53* wedges. PM me if your interested, we offer these with custom build!
  13. Yes we are going to offer these to Forum Members only.
  14. Just wanted to show you a pic of the Version 1 TSG Grip. It will be our standard grip for custom builds starting next month. We have a Tour Velvet Style and Full Cord model coming with colored versions on the drawing board.
  15. OMG!, Thats just sick! I give you mad props on the setup, you stuck with irons that worked the best for you. Cant wait to see your bag with the irons you have coming.
  16. Sorry bud still waiting for it, its been ordered but not released yet. There is a Japan FT-i, the only difference is the shaft. The Hyper ERC is the new Japan only model. Japan also has the Nike JDI SFI along with the new Sumo stuff, they made the JDI with a lower MOI because pro's need to work the ball.
  17. Ishihara isnt a foundry, they do OEM assembly and purchase raw heads from himeji There are no more Ishihara clubs made, the old man got sick.
  18. His name is Carlton Masui from ParGolf72 he does many of the wedge grinds for the top players in Hawaii. Grinding the Type Js a tad is possible because the heads are heavy, in regards to the wedges which are average weight if you remove more than 10g and add that to the hosel with brass tip weights you will move the CG 1/64th of an inch toward the heel. So it all depends how much is taken off the wedge. Carlton and I have a suprise for you guys coming soon.
  19. HA! Im on to you guys and I see what you are doing, hoarding all the new sets and elevating the prices so when the time is good you will pounce and scoop your piles of paypal money.
  20. I think its closer to about 50-100 sets made. My problem with them is in the PW. its very rounded when compared to the 9 iron. I think Carlton Masui did the grind on these.
  21. You could go to Fujikura in Tokyo, they offer a 1 hour shaft fitting with video for free.
  22. Im sure the set is real, i see all kinds of proto's or tour stuff in used golf shops in Japan. Much of it is run down but still fun to see. A sneaky camera phone click could get us the pics
  23. No sir, the two are different in design. The Type S will replace the Pro II next month. I have a few sets available early release now. GREAT IRON!
  24. As far as clothing in Japan goes, its not notch, some of the shirts are limited edition and made in Japan too. Tourstage, Taylormade Japan, Adidas, PRGR, Mizuno, Beres, and Callaway all have ultra expensive lines. As far as shopping for this stuff its best to write down the product number of the item you want and let me know as in most cases i can get it cheaper if the size is still available.
