  1. IMO, they are more player than the MP60. smaller heel to toe and not as forgiving. They are very different than the those miura's you have shown, just take a look at the pics.
  2. I don't care for these because they rust up so quick. If you like rust its not a bad choice. Id take an Epon wedge any day. They should be here in 4-7 days. no 64, it can be bent but it will change the bounce for the negative.
  3. Got a bunch coming at 155.00 Each plus shipping guys..
  4. I own all the clubs and that bag but I wont be playing that set as I have my gamers. Mizuno makes top notch stuff, no matter usa or jdm spec its some of the best golf gear on earth.
  5. The OEMs have problems with club design and adjusting lie, loft, and face angle for drivers. If the hosel is long and made of steel then no problem but most are not because steel is way to heavy. That is why OEMs that do have long hosels use titanium but even that is very brittle, the best way to bend titanium hosels is the endo way, while its heated red hot. Tour vans do cold titanium bends or heated but not red hot which sometimes end up in breakage. Some drivers from Titleist, Taylorade, Tourstage, and Mizuno can be bent but not much and then the risk comes into play.
  6. Mizunos have a great feel thats for sure, I notice custom spec ordered from us has a different chrome, satin, and black than the retail USA spec. I'm guessing the true customs are done nearby in Japan. The deal on Mizuno is from what I understand they don't own the factory yet have pure exclusive rights with a top quality foundry to produce only Mizuno clubs. Some of the best irons I have hit have been Custom Grind Mizuno blades with the black finish. Its to bad anything with a finish that wears will decrease in resale value much quicker than a plated set. I really do give props to brands like Mizuno and Srixon in the USA, they are selling quality japanese forged product to the American consumer at very decent prices . Kudo's to KZG too for using Kyoei. My favorite by a mile is the Epon Type J with the NiCr20 finish. Rumor has it they have a blade coming mid 07. If you want unreal soft hit the Epon Model X wedge in the copper finish. Its the softest wedge I have ever hit.
  7. Guys I just found out NiCr20 in the new Technity wedge will be coming retail along with the black. 175.00 each + Shipping.
  8. Guys you can have almost any shaft option you desire on these!
  9. Im sorry Epon is not a component brand, Its all very high end stuff.
  10. More Pics to come. I will be building a bunch of these, any solid FW shaft requests? I have a couple drying now with PT-7's for myself.
  11. Yup dont forgets Taylormades Bullet shape fixed weight driver, The Cleveland HiBoreXL, Cobras new stretch crown driver, Callaways new Fusion, ERC Hyper, the new ProV1 and Bridgestone balls... To much new stuff guys!
  12. This is a very old wedge yet very sweet, 4 years old. I know the owner, he also owns golfmall in Japan and distributes EGG wedges too.
  13. So your the guy who has the Satin Maru's! 1 of a kind ya lucky guy!
  14. Them prices are too high and why SST pure iron shafts? its overkill as you wont notice much of a difference, In fact i SST pure some of my axivs, oziks, etc.. and cant tell the difference. When dealing with high end graphite no need to pay to SST pure them and most of these shafts are pre flo'd. With irons SST Pure is imo not a good way to spend money. FYI we offer SST Puring!...lol Fitting can be simple, start with these basics: 1. Proper Lie Angle based off the actual set, Drives me nutz when golfers say they were fitted at 1* upright, well in this game with no equipment standards 1* upright on a set of mizunos may not be the same as on a set of Taylormades standard lie angles. Always look at the stock lie angles. 2. Length, measure wrist to floor, after you get that # dont just assume its for you, have one or two clubs built and test it side by side. 3. Swing Weight, sometimes this has an effect on where you make contact on the face, what i do is have C9, D0, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, & E5 all the same head and shaft. I use impact tape and see the difference in where he/she makes contact. 4. Grip Size is very important, too big or small of a grip makes a big difference. 5. Loft, when building a new set of clubs make sure at the very least your lofts are equal to or a tad stronger than their previous set. This way you are not setup for faliure and the golfer wont take his new irons out and notice he is hitting them shorter than his old set. Fitting starts with a good club maker but ends with your final decision, dont always follow the numbers and let your eyes and sense of feel decide. These 5 basics make the game much more enjoyable as 90% of golfers use equipment that is not suited to their game. If your fitter just wants to measure your specs and bend all your clubs a certain way or swap out shafts for another he needs to slow down, build you a couple of clubs in the new setup and allow you to put a good 2-4 rounds in with them, then you return and have a convo about the results the new shafts, specs etc had on your game. and decide if you want to adjust them numbers or have the rest of your setup made to match. So that is what i suggest to the average golfer, Its what i call a basic fitting. If you want to get fancy ask your clubmaker to frequency match your set or you can have it MOI matched using an Auditor.
  15. One has a more open face angle and is geared toward higher swing speeds. FYI both clubs are discontinued a while back in Japan. Its just about the same thing as an FT-3.
  16. Everyone is thinking the same thing right now... Post them pics!
  17. Yes that Mizuno Bag is Available still. Expect new models in April. Here is the new running bird Japan tour bag, U.S version is the same thing but smaller.
  18. Wood tooling prices are pretty expensive and these two look the same and have the same volume and feel/performance. Its ok, imo for all those who didnt want to put the coin down on some expensive RC gear you now have another option. If you guys need any custom built Sonartec clubs feel free to drop me a PM, we even have the bendable hosel version to adjust your lie/loft/face angle. If the GS Tour is the old C.V Pro is their a USA version of the BBD Type H or H2 yet?
  19. Yes its a new model by design but they cant do much to enhance the performance on the model X so I assume they kept it very similar. These are the wedge models for 2007.
  20. 3 new versions of epon wedges, the Technity Black, Nickel and the Limited Edition NiCr20 Technity Wedge. Not many of the NiCr20's were made only 24 - 36 single heads made. Technity Limited Edition: Technity Black: Technity Nickel:
  21. What do you think is a fare price to rent a full set of irons? Or are you talking just a 6 iron or somthing?
  22. Every Gauge Iron has been pretty darn solid. MB Milled MB MB-2 they all went for about 1150.00 when new. they are difficult to find now. I used to play the Milled MB, very forgiving and soft.
