My favorites are the Tourstage CBTS50 and CBTS55, both models have 2 new added colors. Perhaps the blue and white may suit your fancy? They have virtually the same design except the CBT50 is 9.5 and the 55 is 8.5. Another winner is the 2006 Adidas Tour staff bag in white and blue. :tsg_smiley_yes:

Just to make things clear, I used the comparison to callaway because the majority of you gents would understand if I said at impact it feels like an XXIO yet performs like an ONOFF. XXIO feel and OnOFF performance with a smaller profile is exactly what these are. Now how many of you know what i mean? :tsg_smilie_confused:

I beg to differ, If anything Scratch wedges don't have flat faces. Your wedge faces are hand ground flat not CNC milled flat like the GAS1's The only way to get perfectly flat faces is to CNC mill them. Unless you CNC all your faces which you don't, they are not flat. You are talking about the difference between the plating and the black oxide raw face line which isn't where people impact the ball anyway. The GAS1's have flat CNC milled faces and grooves where as your wedges use TI stamps to make the grooves and have hand done faces. CNC grooves will last longer and and can have a specified sharpness down to the point. From a high end stand point electric tape will work but not as well as titanium mesh tape. the Electric tape you are talking about has a side effect of losing groove sharpness.

Thats a very good question Jim, I too would also like to know how this can be done aftermarket. It would take a CNC machine and I assume it would remove some weight from the head as well. IMO wedges with milling marks do not feel as soft as wedges without. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preferences. Perhaps Ari or Joe can Chime in and give us an idea of the pro's and con's of doing so. On a side note I am curious how the GAS1 Forged by Gauge Japan was made with a full satin head and a raw face, is this an easy process for a refinisher?

I wouldnt get to caught up on that, you wont see studio shops in the U.S for quite some time. Its really up to the shop what they want to charge the customer.

Gauge Japan claims this is their most forgiving Iron ever. IMO it has a profile very much like the Tourstage TS-202 from above. Its their only cast club in the G-field line up and preliminary testing from top amateurs show its a club longer than other sets. I have a 6 iron demo club that I will be taking images of soon, I can vouch that these are longer than the NC-1's with the same loft and at impact feel like Callaway irons. They are not game improvement yet they are not a players cavity. FYI the U.S release will not say Gauge Design in the medallion.

The release date on these babies are Feb 15th 2006. The wrench will not be sold to the public nor will extra weights. There will be certified studio shops that can adjust the weight settings for you. There are 2 Drivers, Fairway woods, 3 sets of Irons, 2 types of wedges and a utility wood in the G-Field Line up. In fact I have got my hands on a couple proto sets of the G-Field NC-1s made of a softer forged steel with better milling marks. I also have several GFT Fairway woods with Graphite Design M75 shafts as well I may be willing to let go for the right price. No where else can these be found.

I love using steel in my FW's. It keeps me in the fairway much more than any graphite shaft can. I use lighter softer steel shafts like the NS850 or NS950. You will lose a touch of distance but if it keeps you in the FW its a score saver.

Same Material FE99.9% as the black limited models. The plated finished versions are made of E2000 steel.

Hey Karjar, There will be many different lines of products from G-Field. The most inexpensive putters will retail for only $150.00 USD those of course would be made in China and similar to the odyssey line IMO. There is also athlete, Neo and pro models. The pro models will be made in japan of SS303 with the crazy tungsten and SS303 inserts not to mention some new aluinser designs that will blow your mind. Overall they have a huge line up coming to the states. The quality will be top notch for the more expensive or limited models, for the lower end products it will be on par with the white hots, never compromise and Yes putters. I like this idea, it allows people more options and the ability to select something based on their price range and preferences. Pro models will run 500.00, limited G-Field Tour models could go up past a thousand. They will be using manufacturers from both China and Japan.

Let me first start by sharing the finishing options: Polished Chrome: Twilight Chrome: Brushed Satin: Double Nickel: Shinny Black: Flat Black: 1. Satin has a more glossy finish to it, It is slightly more durable yet will feel more firm at impact. The nickel will be a tad softer as well as less glossy. Both look incredible. 2. Mizuno will not do a grind that affects performance in a negative manner. Grind options include, Rounding a leading edge, matching top lines and soles in a combo set, increase or decrease sole or top line size, adjusting offset, and rounding or sharpening a toe. 3. They will no put milling marks on the face of a club. 4. To bring trajectory down I would suggest adjusting the MP37's to start with or selecting a shaft option that will help you keep it low.
