  2. Im not sure with steel, but with graphite it is just under 2 grand.
  3. Finally they get it! Just recently they have been slowly coming into the spotlight gaining more exposure with top players in Japan. With the release of the high quality Armarq boron shafts early 05 and now their new line called "beres". Check it out: BERES GOLF by HONMA
  4. Here we go guys another one thousand dollar shaft by the company Pnoez, Most of you have never heard of this company but they have been a small presence on the JPGA tour with their PX-1 retail spec series shaft. This fancy shaft called the PX-1 TOUR MODEL ( only 500 made ) features a material called HEB, or High Elasticity Boron that supposedly bends better than normal boron, It is a light weight shaft at only 55 grams but 2.6 torque that has the accuracy of steel or so they say. I will give them a call next week to see if they are willing to send a couple my way at a good price so we can do some testing. Currently they have the PX-1 retail line in these specs: 5001 51g 3.3tq 6001 62g 2.8tq 7001 72g 2.1tq 8001 86g 1.7tq
  5. These are just rumor as of now, no info and no pics just yet. Many think these are coming because the F/UT and ViQ utility clubs have been discontinued.
  6. I cant, I pretty much only play NS Pro steel in my fairway woods. Its a big help keeping shots in the short grass. Taipanli has had both the blue and red diamana's in his FW's maybe he can better answer that. Yes it is. Lets say you go with the 6064 vs the M33, I would say the Diamana plays slightly tighter in regards to dispersion yet slightly softer in flex.
  7. As far as gauge goes the NC1 and MB2 are still both very new, The CCB they have coming is a cast game improvement club. You do have the right idea by looking at GD, Tourstage and Srixon. any set you choose, the MB2, I505 or X-Blade Cavity 2 I'm sure you will be very happy. Just make sure it has the right shaft for you.
  8. I really dont know to be honest, I guess the weight plug gives it a lower COG? or that could be used to control head weight. :tsg_smilie_confused: I have the original V-Steel as well and will take images side by side when i return from Amsterdam.
  9. You dont need any specs to re-shaft the driver, and no the head isnt any lighter than others on the market. The TM Plus shaft that came stock with it is about 50-55 grams. To most people i suggest shafts in the 60 to mid 70 gram range.
  10. Is it to soft for you right now? If so try a quarter of an inch to half inch. Sorry no it isnt, but the new Graphite Design PT-6 is.
  11. S/R is weaker than stiff and a 55g shaft compared to the 75 will also play into effect. I suggest instead of buying another X-ST to just get a good shaft and insert it. I'm hearing the Diamana M73 is killer in Fairway woods. you could go that route or even the same NV-75 you have sitting around. Anyway you go the X-ST head is a gem!
  12. I don't know yet to be honest. The Axiv is still my current favorite shaft right now, just due to the massive amount of carry it provides and the fact that the 6064 untipped is the only shaft that I have ever owned to give me a double upward ball flight. Zoooom to where a normal shaft would peak ( even the red diamana ) then another pump upwards before it begins its decent. Its rather shocking if you can find the correct flex for you. The kick is violent and powerful. Now the Diamana red on the other hand feels more controllable and together. it has a smoother kick and is more predictable.
  13. I would suggest somthing a tad heavy. perhaps in the 75 gram range, I would also want to know what flex you would like it at. weight = 75 flex = 6.4 that is model 7564. It really depends on what you are looking for. I would sugges the Low Kick L models for low lofted clubs like those.
  14. FYI guys, a new players neo MB is soon to be released also, the TR900 MD. early 2006.
  15. This model is available in the U.S for far cheaper and in USGA conforming spec. I was able to hit all the new mizzy drivers, the JPX 400cc is by far the best, the face is HOT, illegal hot. I honestly don't think the drivers they make are as good as others.
  16. The answer is anser! I'm using a mallet now... :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: but in my defence the mallet has a plumbers neck! I usually have a method of keeping my putting fresh, i play ansers till i have 3 below average putting rounds in a row, then I switch to a neo mallet and practice a lot on short putts. after 3 bad days with the neo putter i switch back to the anser and its good as new, usually for months.
  17. I havent had enough time with this clubs to give it a real review but after one round I can say its accurate and easy to hit. Accurate comes from the steel NS950 shaft IMO and easy to hit is due to the shallow face and weight plug in the rear sole portion of the club.
  18. After 5 rounds of golf with my Diamana Red M-65 in a W505 Srixon head I feel I can give it an accurate review past the honeymoon period. I have had good and normal swing days with this driver/shaft combo and am overall impressed with its performance. I will rate everything on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being perfect. A perfect total score of 20pts will give it TSG Holy Grail status, with our critical high standards here there has never been a holy grail in the history of all golf clubs despite what other sites call theirs. Appearance = 4.5 I love the look of this shaft, Ion finish, flower band and it just matches with my red and black toned W505 driver. The only thing i would have prefered changed is the font of the 63x5ct area. Ok, i'm getting picky :tsg_smilie_rolleyes: Distance = 4.0 Not as much carry as the axiv's i have used in the past but i was very pleased with the results the M63 gave me. It kicks well and has better distance than the majority of shafts out there. Forgiveness = 4.5 Like the Diamana blue it is very easy to hit different patterns with this shaft. I think its the soft tip that turns my fade into a straighter ball flight, by small adjustments I was able to work the ball either way which is something many shafts don't let me do. The soft tip lifts the ball into the air quite easy while the stiffer mid section I'M prevented the ballooning that the blue diamana did. I rate it very high in the user friendly department. Feel = 4.5 Vibrant and alive are two words that would best describe this shaft. Not even the slightest bit boardy. Overall Score = 17.5pts One of my top 3 shafts of all time, this has changed my perspective on the diamana which wasn't so good prior to the red M model. i'm getting a nice amount of carry and roll without losing feel or forgiveness. I highly suggest this shaft for mid to low handicapers.
  19. Guys great news, I will be getting my first batch in early! December 10th I will get my X-Drive 435's with standard shafts and the X-Blade CB2's. I suggest you put your order in now. December 19th I will get them with the PT-6 Shaft. Sorry no heads only, and no non conforming versions, they are all USGA legal.
  20. Early next year PRGR will release its new T3 line. featuring 2 new drivers and a new fairway wood called the M3 Hit. The T3 black driver is 440cc with a 37mm deep face while the T3 Blue is 450cc at 39mm deep. They use 3 type of titanium in the crown and sole areas which are supposed to take spin off of the ball and lower the center of gravity for a high and penetrating low spin flight.
  21. Due for release the last week of december the new X-Drive 435! USGA conforming with a ton of different shaft options, I just ordered mine with the new Diamana red M63. The first inital release will be sold out quickly so pre order yours today to insure you get it by January 1st.
