  1. IMO they will make Maru's personal Irons in Japan as they do with most of the other Tourstage staffers who request particular customizations. I have seen X-blades with big offset and XCB's with fat top lines and a healthy offset as well as the extreme opposite. On TSG V.1 I posted XL pics of 4 different Japan made variations of the XCB, The 2004 MR-23s were indeed made by Endo but my best guess is that the new line will be made by Nelson. Most factories in Japan struggle making 1500 sets of irons in a month while China and other Asia factories can pump out 4000+ with no problem. Its kinda like Tigers old Titleist Irons, they were basically Mizuno MP-14s forged by Miura with a Titleist stamping. Nelson is located in China and is the arguably against Endo the largest OEM forged golf club manufacturer right now. But really who can tell the difference between Nelson, Endo or Fushen factories? Not me but I can sure tell the difference between Endo & Nelson vs Himeji, Miura and Kyoei. They say Japanese S25C is the best anywhere.
  2. Is this 2-ball Japan only? Has anyone seen it in the U.S?
  3. X-blade 2 is available now guys! So is the X-Drive 365 and Tourstage VIQ 450cc.
  4. here is a secret for you murch that Tourstage dont want you to know. They switched to Nelson just before creating Bridgestone U.S :wah: Thats right and Nelson many say is almost 25% cheaper than Endo. I have a list but just cant find it right now. Just because the forging is done by Endo it doesn't mean it will feel like other Endo clubs. Each OEM has its own standard and process in regards to the feel and manufacturing of its product even within Endo. Rumor is Gauge Japan is going to use Endo for their next line of Muscle Back Irons. :wah: This is a huge step down from Himeji forged Steel but the grinders just cant complete the amount of sets necessary so its time to go big and Endo is usually the next step.
  5. I can sell you the shaft and the stock club but you would have to get the labor done on your own. The DFI is the Driver the majority of pro's in Japan are using, The shape reminds me of the normal 460 ignite but with a deeper face. Maybe if your lucky Mach1 will sell it to you. do you know which size Shingo uses? Shingo Hits the 460

  7. Member Mach1 swears by this thing with a Diamana. Drop him a PM.
  8. Of course sir, These are not rare and still available. Drop me a PM if you would like one.
  9. Yes it is the only head style like this that GD JPN makes. Feel wise, its very close actually at ball impact id say the Forged L is the only Gauge putter that feels a tad better than the Balde.
  10. Here is a pic of the forged L, it is not a rare putter actually part of its normal early 05 line up.
  11. They are already out, this will be the only weight available for quite some time. They run about 22 bucks each shaft + shipping.
  12. Yum... Custom Grind MP60's  Any Black finish, thinner topline, less offset, killed leading edge, made for a steep swinger. will they perform better than the NC-1's?... I hope so but probobly not, they sure will look purty. My best guess is no and I guess they will look exactly like the ones in those pics from Inthehole, retail.
  13. This is one tricked out set of Mizzy's! It was ordered with a custom grind "Bigger Sole" and a more rounded leading edge with a conservative box toe shape up to a point where it wouldn't affect its original performance. one of the nicest I have seen probably the most exotic to date..
  14. Pro spec has an open face and is USGA conforming. The HR model or non pro spec exceeds USGA C.O.R ratings and has a square to .5 closed face angle.
  15. MP30 CM or MP60 CM will have a mid-late sept release I am told if not then then just before Feb 2006. Other than that not much info has gone out on these and if someone does get some please share it with us. Im thinking Custom!
  16. MB's and NC-1's right now, also the GI cavity back for mid-high handicap's is due for release this september. 2 new Drivers are in the works and a Utility wood along side some new putters. NC-1's w/1150's
  17. I had met Shinobu several times at Gauge Japan and purchased the back up done in pink with a pink Iomic grip. Only about 5 were made and I ended up selling it for only 600 on ebay.
  18. Does that putter look familiar? how about the grip? ViQ Utility!
  19. Sorry to break the bad news to you that way, I just wouldnt want your name to go to poop when I spilled the beans. I will be doing a report on the History of the two gauges within the month, I am very bias toward Gauge Japan so I had a thrid party do the fact diggin.
  20. Unfortunately the head you received was a fake from Whitlam golf aka Gauge Design USA from Agoodgolfer. If you won it from the poker tourney then agoodgolfer bought it from David Whitlam who has nothing to do with the creation, design or manufacturing of that head but has everything to do with the fake copy's AGG is selling. Here are some examples: The real version has a mirage face shown here: Here is the GAF1's being sold by Gauge U.S.A and AGG. and here is where Gauge U.S.A tells its customers its actually miraged::bulls**t: The "REAL" Gauge Design ( Japan ) has since canceled the GAF1 and is soon starting the production phase of the GAF2. I will be doing a report on the full story shortly but this is just one of the many examples why Gauge America is so Shady.
  21. I would say so... This M85 shaft is awesome in a Fairway wood.
